Let's Talk About the Weather

So French President Emmanuel Macron states that Global Climate Warming Change is a "Red Line" in the sand so to speak, for the world. This may be a reference, perhaps, to former U.S. President Barack Obama who famously referenced an equally meaningless "Red Line" in his planned usurpation of Syria back in 2012.

THAT red line was a failure.

So Global Climate Warming Change apparently is the biggest issue for France, judging by Mr. Macron's impassioned line drawing. He has also passed legislation and is raising taxes in an attempt to draw down France's use of fossil fuels. Those additional taxes and increases have fallen, not too surprisingly, on the Middle and Lower classes of France. And they haven't been too happy about it since they've been out in the streets blockading roads, destroying property, gathering in great numbers and making a run at Parliament but not in a political sense.

But the Environment is the most important thing to France's government. The people must recognize that the President is acting for their benefit. He's saving the Planet for THEM!

As we've seen in the not so distant past that there's no shortage of Anarchists in France to be sure who will gladly help you dump 12 tons of rotten tomatoes in the street at the blinking of Macron's left eyebrow but this yellow vested "Gilets Jaune" are made up of loads of just regular folks who are seeing themselves losing their purchasing power due to the regressive taxation they continue to undergo in their Social Paradise. We don't need yet another study to point out that gasoline taxes are regressive in nature and impact the lowest wage earners the hardest. It takes more money to basically do the same work of getting to where you need to go.

Transit Strike

Then there is the French Government's attempt at reforming their ungainly and multifaceted pension schemes, which number 42 different plans and each hinges on what you do for work. There are different plans for bakers, opera singers, transit workers and the list goes on. The administration of 42 different plans has to be a costly bureaucratic nightmare but there it is, good jobs at good wages. And although this has been going on for some time, now seems like the perfect time to tackle this issue since the whole system is really starting to collapse under its own weight.

It's not just a matter of the French government's desire to "want to" address the pension issue, it's a matter of "have to" address it. And the sooner they face reality on the costs, the better.

But since they're still looking for shortcuts to straighten things out, the Macron government has proposed for the retirement age to go up to 64 from it's current 62. This news has earned them, as of this writing, 22 days of marginal if any transit service into Paris.

That's good for the environment, yes? Hope so since it's the Environment that is the important thing there.

Like every Ponzi scheme, whether it be France's Public Pensions or Social Security here in the U.S., the pyramid eventually inverts and when that happens it takes a whole lot of money to keep kicking bricks under the thing to keep it upright. That money only comes from the pockets of people who actually earn a WAGE. So now the people who pay, the taxpayers, are paying more and will be getting less and when people have less money to spend, business everywhere suffers too.

France's Middle Class is reportedly living hand to mouth and the working class people out in the streets say that they are barely staying ahead of the bills. This, Mr. Macron, is a problem. The French people appear to be drowning in taxes but they are also being mandated into paying more for resources in a misguided effort to keep them from using them. It's winter in France, where there is a greater need to heat the house, taxes have eaten into people's wages and now the oil bill is due.

But as we have heard, it's the Environment that's important to President Macron.

And judging by the images and news coming out of France...the Environment isn't good.

Can China Oppress Its Way to Prosperity?

Remember Tibet? It used to belong to the Tibetans. Not any more. China took over. The outrage lasted minutes while Chinese policemen kicked protesters to death in the streets.

How about Taiwan. It's a sovereign nation, right? Not to China it isn't and they never stop threatening to take it over. By force, of course.

China's Claims

To determine ownership of a territory, China it seems merely has to claim it. "It's ours by right, stay off!"

And that's all their is to it. Tibet...is China's. The South China Sea, well, it has the word China in it, see? Therefore it belongs to China. Nobody else gets to use it. It's China's.

Taiwan is China's. Why? Because China says so!

Taiwan may have something to say about that. "No they don't, it's ours!"

Hong Kong wasn't China's for a long time. China was very different then. Different government, different economy and Hong Kong too is different, like a different country.

But China claims Hong Kong just the same.

Where do China's claims stop?

There's a rumor going around this country that China wants to go to the Moon just to see if the American flag is really there. If it isn't, China will claim the Moon too.

How Will the World React?

Hong Kong is, in my opinion, the last frontier of true economic freedom left in the world. A place where you can rent a storefront, put up a sign and call yourself a business. Very little red tape involved in comparison to say, anywhere in the United States. It's a city just teaming with commerce and ambition. Ambition for success and for something few on mainland China enjoy, Freedom!

But don't worry, China will fix that. They'll eventually kick their way in and crush the local pro-democracy lunatics, killing the most resistant and sending the rest to be re-educated or harvested or both. They'll then look to their European enablers for signs of disapproval.

But they won't see any.

I mean, what nation cut ties with China over Tibet? None. Nobody did. If they do the same thing to Hong Kong, will it score a ripple on China's economic radar screen? Will they pay a price?

Well, perhaps the UK may have had enough and actually speak up about what China is doing given it's past ties to Hong Kong but don't expect France, Spain or Germany to make much of a fuss. They all need the low cost manufacturing they've grown dependent upon. They're tied too tight economically to China to open their cringy yaps and do anything beyond a grandstanding speech or some-such.

To them, Hong Kong is just another Tibet; "Pass the Bearnaise Sauce will you, my Filet Mignon is not as moist as it should be." "Send it back Angela, the cook will make you another!" "Good idea Annegret, I'll send it back."

"Oh, those unfortunate people of Hong Kong." they will say. And that will be the end of it. It will take people marching in the streets of those nations to get a bigger reaction. But since it's only people getting killed and a major global economic engine being silenced and not something REALLY important like "Global Climate Warming Change", will they get much of a turnout?

China Roads

China is good at taking over. They've bought their way into Africa although there are rumblings from South Africa about the deal they've made with the Devil, but they'll all regret taking the money China dangles in front of the impoverished nations of Africa.

Nobody really TRUSTS China. They're serious as a heart attack and as funny as a crutch. They have a chip on their shoulder so big the Iranians can only look on in envy and they are out to pay back ALL the slights of history they feel have been directed at them because they are Chinese.

China now says, "If the world will not love us, by _________, (*whatever Godless Idol Chairman Xi worships) they'll fear us!"

And surely, where ever China goes these days, they make everyone around them nervous.

And they should be.

Tienanmen Square Redux

But China is at it's best at oppressing it's own. From the untold millions who were purged in the days of Mao to the extension of that control to the long segregated Muslim population. The control and subjugation of them and Christians too, is all just by rote these days. Nobody escapes and everybody is subject to social controls. The Muslims just get it worse, of course.

It's all about control. China controls it's population. Telling them what they can see, what they can say, what they can do and where they can go. In this fashion, the government can feel secure that they will not be overthrown. With the country contained, they will feel much more secure as they expand and try to take over the weaker territories nearby and give them the same treatment. And then, they surmise, they will expand from there spreading the subjugation model they've perfected at home.

The Question

Can China's economic business model sustain it's ambitions?

Already being challenged on the economic battlefield, China's weakness is evident. The other major nations of the world must keep buying their cheaper products and feeding the Dragon. If they should decide to go elsewhere, the Chinese Juggernaut could hit the wall.

But that would also help out the United States and President Trump. What to do, what to do?

What will it take for the other nations of the world to decide to stop buying Chinese goods?

If China should decide to go into Hong Kong with guns a-blazing, the reactions or lack thereof of the European nations will tell us a lot.

U.S. Propaganda Machine Girds for War in Syria

Oh, the children!

Day after day the leftist press:CNN, The Huffington Post, New York Times, MSNBC and Fox News roll out the articles, articles you can't comment on, and pictures of the "Children of Aleppo" and the humanitarian crisis that nobody fucking cared about until the "Rebels" backed by the United States, France, Germany and England began to LOSE the war they've been waging with Bashir Assads Syrian government forces.

And if Doctors without Borders really gave a Goose-Stepping FART about the children of Aleppo they would be calling on the parents, the anti-government "rebels", to throw down their arms and surrender "for the children". If the insurgents would just put down their arms, the Syrians and the Russians would stop bombing them and the children would be safe.

But NO, they can't do that now can they? That would mean the civil war would be over and that Assad would re-gain control of the country again and the above named Imperial Coalition would not!

So it's obviously not about the children.

Oh, and here's a quick tip on how not to get your hospital bombed: Quit firing your U.S. supplied anti-aircraft missiles from either the hospital rooftop or the hospital grounds. We've seen this act all over the Middle East. They've been warned so it should come as no surprise. Apparently a press photo op is more important than the lives of women, children and wounded fighters.

So now everyday there is outrage in the news, the White House and the U.N. that there is war, yes, war going on in Syria and that Assad and his Russia thugs are fighting back. How dare they fight back! Didn't Obama and that cardboard cut-out of a Secretary of State, John Kerry say they wanted Assad out? Then why isn't he going? And why are the Russians coming to his aid? Oh, yeah, that's right, Russia is an Ally. They signed a contract and everything.

Now what sort of deal does the United States have with Syria? None. The United States has no legitimate alliance with any group in Syria and is too far away from the conflict to even know who is using the weapons they are indiscriminately supplying. We are only told that they are Moderate Muslims if such a thing actually exists any more. This is one of those "foreign entanglements" the framers of the U.S. Constitution always warned us about. No good has come from these affairs and no good will come from this one either. Just look at how well Libya turned out.

But any excuse will serve a Tyrant and the Obama Regime is nothing if not tyrannical when it comes to what they want. They will find some excuse to throw more U.S. troops and arms into the region and continue to intervene in the Syrian Civil War. But they have to be discrete so they have the U.N. invent a humanitarian crisis so they can use yet another force of "coalition partners" to step in.

Wars need winners. What the U.S. and its European enablers are doing is prolonging the conflict so more people die. Had the U.S. not intervened, the war would have been over two, three years ago and everybody would have gone home by now.

But no, Assad must go. Why? Because we said so!

And so more U.S. taxpayer money, money we haven't even earned yet because we're $20 Trillion dollars in debt, is being cast upon the Syrian sands because Obama said so and as a result more bodies will burn.

Until our War President, Barack Obama is finally out of office we are going to have to put up with all the impotent phoney-balonie hand wringing coming out of the government media machine.

It's all they got.

The U.S. should just pack it in. Not just in Syria but in the whole Middle East. The only sponsor of terror in the world right now that I see is the United States. We have toppled stable governments and replaced them with chaotic fanatics. We have put an unmixable populace of religious fanatics (also of our making) on the move to countries that don't understand them and can't afford to take them. We have armed groups of radicals with an axe to grind against their governments who would never have had the resources to rebel if WE didn't fund and supply them. This is straight out of the Roman Book of Conquest

Here is a paraphrased piece written by Celtic historian Graeme Talboys:

"Roman techniques for conquest were sophisticated. Trade was generally the first step, with increasingly stringent and monopolistic treaties being enforced. Some groups are picked out for favorable treatment, creating civil discontent. Training and weapons are then provided for the malcontents who would other wise have little impact on their own society. If challenged about this, any imperial power will usually either deny involvement or will talk about support for the oppressed and a desire to bring freedom and political enlightenment to barbarians who, despite their uncouth ways and and lack of the benefits of civilized society, are always painted as a threat."

Sound familiar?

Aleppo will fall and Assad and Putin will finally win a war in the television era unless Obama does something really really stupid.

Don't count that out.

Turkey Trots Out Big Lie in Syria

Where are the bodies?

Russia reportedly hits hospitals and schools and kills 50 “civilians in rebel held Northern Syria yet the videos show no bodies! A couple of guys run by the camera with a pile of blankets in a stretcher. Lots of shouting and people digging in destroyed buildings while a voice-over in English describes the destruction.

This is the Big Lie come back into plain site in the warm up to continued intervention into the Syrian Civil war. While earthquake videos always show people being dragged out of crumbled buildings, here in Syria there is no such vision. Not even a snapshot has come out of this with a corpus delicti.

In a war of pictures in the television age, the one thing that would best sway the hearts and minds of the people seems to be missing: Evidence of a Crime.

Turkey’s Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, always a reliable source for truth and justice in this situation since it it Turkey that is supplying arms to the anti-Assad forces, said that Russian missiles hit a “children’s hospital” and that many civilians and children were killed. There’s plenty of footage of the buildings but where are the dead? There is nothing, not a second of footage of bodies anywhere. You know why? Because the only bodies they pulled out of those buildings were SOLDIERS!

Now we’ve all seen the bullshit setups the Palestinians love to film where one minute someone is lying under a concrete slab and the next minute they’re walking around with a crutch. There seems to be a limit to the number of actors these guys can come up with so you’ll have to forgive me for being skeptical having seen the so called “Palestinians” shoot their own people because they were in the presence of a foreign journalists video footage so they could claim that Israeli soldiers did it. The footage was remarkable because it depicted a man and his teenage son caught in the crossfire between the opposing forces and he was shielding his son with his back not to the Israeli forces but to his own supposed protectors because he knew as well as they did he was on camera.

There is little coming out of Syria right now in the form of “News” that I am inclined to believe so one thing I will believe is when I see footage of actually bodies being pulled from the newly minted wreckage. If this existed I am positive that the rebel forces would have had no qualms about showing them to the world. Where is it?

Everybody filmed the Japanese Tsunami in 2011. Everybody filmed the World Trade Center Towers coming down. Nobody got this? No, next week will be too late so if the archivists for ABC, CNN or Reuters are going through old video footage right now, forget it. It won’t fly. It’s all a lie and it’s an Obvious lie given the circumstances of Assad being on the verge of victory. “This cannot stand” say the forces of good in Europe.

Just like the unbelievable stories of gas warfare being reported by the French, again no friend of Russia or Assad, which they attributed exclusively to the Assad regime and yet not proof was ever presented. Surely the accusations of the French, who only hold the best interests of the world in there heart, should be enough to begin more armed conflict in the region. Where is the footage? In an age where everybody is walking around with a God Damned video camera in their shirt pockets, there is no video escaping into the world to document these “atrocities”. And for these accusations, Europe will again look the other way when Turkey is bombing the shit out of the Kurds. But since when have the Kurds gotten anything out of their efforts whether they fight on the side of the U.S. or on the side of Assad. No difference there.

Any excuse will serve a tyrant and here we are with yet another U.S. with Turkey as our puppet to setup an excuse to reign more warfare upon the people of the Middle East just when things are about to be settled. BUT not settled the way we like it.

Good must triumph over evil.

And it ultimately will.

Obama, United Nations Renew Plans for Syrian Intervention

The Setup

First Angela Merkel is trotted out to say she is “Horrified” that there is actually a WAR going on in Syria! She has just now suddenly noticed that people are being killed there. Previously she just wondered why so many Syrians were coming to Germany. Now she seems to have realized why.

Let’s face it, Merkel is under the gun at home right now for her bizarre move to allow Germany to be overrun with unmixable Middle Eastern Visigoths. In part she needs a distraction so now she is shocked, shocked I say, that the fighting in Syria has produced what fighting usually produces: casualties and people on the move.

But is this sudden outrage really just Germany and Turkey acting out of concern for the welfare of the Syrian people?

For one thing, the rhetoric is just insipid: “No one should excuse or show tolerance toward the Russian air attacks that amount to ethnic massacres….” So said Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.

Who writes this stuff?

If Merkel and Davutoglu were really so concerned about the people of Aleppo not being massacred, they should be calling for the rebel forces there to surrender but wait, we don't hear them doing THAT. It's either surrender or fight to the death. That has usually been the custom, before the television age anyway.

So since when is trying to win a war an Ethnic Massacre? Yes, Syrians are getting killed, it’s fucking Syria! Who else would they be bombing in Aleppo, Bulgarians? Trying to prove that Russia is bombing Syrians because they are Syrian doesn't fly. They are also helping Syrians, apparently the "bad" Syrians, win the war. Turkey on the other hand, is backing the rebels with arms and other supplies. If they stopped doing THAT less people would be killed.

It's getting harder and harder to find a good guy in all this. In the U.S., we love the Good Guys. It's always good guys vs the bad guys. We get upset when we can't find a good guy.

Now Ms. Merkel blames the Russians for their bombing runs despite the fact they've been doing this for five months. Can it be that her outrage and calls for the siege to be ended is really only due to the Assad forces being on the verge of final victory? This is an ominous sign.

There is no love lost between Turkey and Russia we know plus president Obama and the U.S. State Department will stop at nothing to undermine an Assad victory. It is beginning to look like they will go to their long standing trump card, the United Nations, for yet another attempt at legitimacy via coalition for their interventionist actions. But the United States is too far away and things appear to be too far along for this to actually work.

The Syrian Civil War has gone badly for president Obama and the United States.

 http://freedominanunfreeworld.blogspot.com/2015/09/united-states-of-obama-on-wrong-side-of.html

The Billions of dollars in arms that were “walked” into the country by the United States with the blessing and support of Saudi Arabia for ISIL to mount an offensive on the side of the anti-Assad rebels have not been enough to alter the inevitable outcome. In fact, the ISIL forces were so uncontrollably fanatical that they were attacking the rebels too and forcing them to fight on two fronts. Hardly a dependable alliance.

Iran and Hezbollah have also been instrumental in turning the tide for Assad forces to the point now that even the meager amount of ground troops that Saudi Arabia plans to send into the country will not be enough to stop them. Let’s hope the Saudis stick to fighting ISIL like they have stated publicly and do not draw themselves into bigger troubles than they have already.

A freshly funded post-embargo Iran poses a bigger threat than ever to the Saudi effort to take over Syria. Iran is now better positioned to fund a military contingent on a larger scale than they have in Syria now as well as landing an economic blow on the Arab Kingdom by entering the glutted oil market and continuing to drive the price of oil into the ground since 80% of their Gross National Product is based on oil. The Saudis have already been put under a great deal of pressure by the American fracking industry which produces oil at a competitive profit margin compared to what comes from overseas. There is also the added threat that if oil prices should jump, much of the dormant fracking installations could be brought back on-line quickly.

Enter the UN

So a propaganda war to get a multi-national “peace” force to enter the fray will have to do.

This is why the United Nations has suddenly put forth a “report” that detainees by Assad forces are being “systematically” executed and that Prime Minister Davutoglu says that the rebel stronghold of Aleppo “is de facto under siege” and that “We are on the verge of a new human tragedy.” Perhaps he was referring to the “old” human tragedy of how Turkish soldiers have been killing the Kurds for as long as anyone can remember.

Nope, having the German and Turkish Prime Ministers dance like puppets on a string is just too neatly cued. These moves are a renewed and orchestrated attempt to keep Russia and Assad from final victory by either more direct armed intervention or the threat of an “International” Tribunal for War Crimes.  There are no more people left to arm so that’s out.

Will they try to indict Vladimir Putin? Have they even indicted Bashir Assad? Whatever they come up with you can be sure it will be ineffectual and all for show since the UN has never helped anybody but themselves in the long run and if they try to interfere and extend the war in Syria, even more people will die.

It always happens with the UN. They intervene, prolong the conflict and more people get killed than would have happened if one side actually won the fight. Look at the job they’ve done in Bosnia. They’ve kept that one going since 1995.

The United Nations should keep to just warning North Korea that they better not shoot off another “Satellite” or NEXT TIME they will be in REAL trouble.  This will be your LAST warning, you hear me?!!

Heaven forbid anyone should actually win a war any more. War isn’t supposed to be fair. It’s intense, brutal, kills people and destroys things. Destruction does not build a people, a nation or an economy. It only lays waste to resources, countrysides and human destiny.

That’s why we should think before we get involved in armed conflict. It's been all too easy when we remove the human element and the national sacrifice from warfare. If we couldn't do that then we wouldn’t have them but then again, the United States leads the world in war. We are the best since we've had the most practice.

It's a terrible deal these people have gotten and as an American citizen disconnected from the people who call the shots, I feel powerless in the winds of the political forces at play but there really isn’t too much to choose from in this Lose/Lose game of a Syrian Conflict.

On one side we have Bashir Assad, a person where no truth will ever describe any longer since he has fallen out of favor with the forces of the United States. Is he a brutal dictator? He’s pretty brutal right now and he certainly hasn't pulled any punches when it comes to keeping control of his country from the many outside influences. And did he really use poison gas? Although it is constantly talked about as a given in the U.S. Propaganda machine that passes for the National Press, it has not been proven.

http://freedominanunfreeworld.blogspot.com/2013/09/un-indisputably-partisan-in-syria-report.html

It has been reported however that the rebels used gas and that so did ISIL. The truth may lie somewhere in between. Call it the Fog of War.

On the OTHER side of this equation is ISIL.  A group that cannot be governed, a group who it has been proven will send a 12 year old boy into a marketplace filled with civilians with a suicide vest on. A group that has cut off the heads of perhaps thousands of people who don’t worship Allah the way they do. A group that has “martyred” many outside recruits whose only mistake was wanting to join them. A group that has vowed to take over not only the Middle East but Europe and the United States as well. THIS is the group Barak Obama has chosen to back in the overthrow of Assad.

There are bad people in this world and there are WORSE people.

You pick one.

The United Nations: Just Another Jewish Hate Group

It's obvious, it's glaring and it's telling.

The actions of the United Nations runs counter to events on the ground in Gaza. The IDF has found weapons in multiple United Nations facilities especially the U.N. schools. The first time that missiles were discovered in a U.N. school, they just handed them back to Hamas. A U.N. spokesperson was quoted as saying; “Oops!”

The U.N. vowed an investigation. I wonder how that turned out.

But the U.N. being caught out in the open does not register with them. They will not let facts get in the way of their mission of bailing out Hamas.

It is an open secret that Hamas has been subjecting foreign journalists with intimidation when they should happen to inadvertently photograph or film Hamas in an “unfavorable light” like when they dress in civilian clothes as they fire rockets at Israel or firing rockets from hospital grounds or more pointedly U.N. facilities and schools. Only journalists who have left Gaza have been able to report these truths. Hamas, whether by accident or on purpose, even bombed their own refugee camp…nothing, it is all forgotten. To the U.N. the onus is on Israel to prove every step while Hamas operates with impunity in their eyes. “Prove to us that Hamas is firing rockets from refugee camps. Prove to us that Hamas is using human shields!” they demand. What does Hamas have to prove? This is absurd.

Who admonishes Hamas to “do more” to protect their “civilian” population? Who is calling for Hamas to stop using their population as shields? I haven’t heard that out of the U.N. Must’ve missed that press release.

They aren’t fooling anybody.

So far the United Nations has never failed to pull Hama’s bacon out of the fire (pun intended). Hamas has come to depend on it and with the U.N. behind them, they are further emboldened in their single-minded nefarious enterprise.

This is why Israel has to defeat Hamas. They have to pound them and pound them again. Right into the fucking ground until they yell “Uncle”. You don’t hear them say it, then, keep at them. Only when there is victory over this pestilence in human form, will there be a pause for reflection and peace in the region. Otherwise they will slither back into the light of day and need to be stomped back into the soiled earth that they sprang from. The U.N. has done it's best to keep this conflict going but it should succeed no longer.

There are no civilians in Gaza

I find it an odd occurrence that whenever an Israeli plane shoots a missile at a terrorist, it can hit nobody but civilians. How can their aim be so poor?

Under media questioning all Gazans seem to spout Hamas “talking points” like they were trained in politics. Listen to them next time and you will hear them. End “the siege” or "We are prisoners of Israel." and witnesses  of “random fire” from the IDF.

This is a puzzle to an outside observer, how can they be in unison? Nobody ever says, “ I wish Hamas would stop the rockets.” They are all either plants for visiting media or they are all soldiers in their war with the Jewish State. I will say they are the later: Everybody in Gaza is a soldier for the fall of Israel.

These people have been brought up hating Israel.  It’s what they do. When they aren't shooting at Israel, there is little to do in the enclave but make more bombs. It’s not like they were busy stitching blue jeans together at their clothing factory for export to Sears or Walmart before the latest conflict started.

When a Gazan declares a dead comrade a "martyre in the fight against Israel" then that person, along with his dead comrade, is a soldier. But not just against Israel for when they go to fight wearing the insignia: "There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his prophet" they are also soldiers against humanity.

The people who inhabit Gaza are taught from birth to hate Israel and their training to fulfill the declaration of the elimination of Israel starts on their first day on Earth.

The reality of the situation

There is a suspension of belief here in the United States about the Gazan Arabs. We find it hard to believe that people will live this way on purpose. We project our abilities of recognizing what’s right and wrong, our working class sensibilites, onto other peoples of the world and think that "We are all brothers under the skin." We see these orchestrated images coming from the conflict and think them real. Because really, how can an entire population be enlisted in such a fashion and how can people just put their children in harm’s way like this?

This message of Israeli oppression that Hamas is sending is for us.

This is the same naive thinking of America prior to September 11, 2001 that lead to the World Trade Center buildings being knocked down. The attackers told them nobody would be hurt. We just want the plane. So they gave up the plane.

They said that’s all they wanted.

Hamas Losing Control of the Message

Hamas wants it both ways. They want to be free to bring in fuel and food through the Rafah Crossing with Egypt AND the rockets they use to shoot at Israel.

“How can they want a cease –fire when they won’t let us smuggle in weapons?” complained a Gaza “civilian” of Egypt. “Israel says they want to be our friends but they won’t let us shoot at them!” seethed another.  “As long as Israel continues to keep us from importing rockets and other weapons to shoot at them, there will be no peace!”

Logic like this is hard to argue with.

The national Leftist newspapers like USA Today are trying to help Hamas control the spin on their latest campaign when they offer quotes from a Gaza resident as describing Israeli tank fire as “random” and that “even ambulances came under fire”.  Did the reporter SEE this happen? No, but he has it on good authority because somebody in Gaza TOLD him. This is important to notice. These are not off-hand quotes; they are ‘’weasel words” meant to tilt the opinion of the reader.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Hamas “doesn't give a whit about the “Palestinians”, all they want is more and more civilian deaths.” And it looks like the majority of the world is now more willing to believe him. They can see it clearly with their own eyes if they care to.

In an incredible display of the the bold-faced hypocrisy of their words when compared with their deeds, Hamas obviously thinks we’re all fools. But to be fair, Hamas didn't just jump to this conclusion on their own, the actions of the rest of the world all but convinced them that this is true.

Up until now the Gaza wing of the Arab Assault Force (AAF) on Israel has relied upon the intervention of the UN and other countries like the United States and the European Union to stop the Israelis from retaliating with full force once they initiate their attacks.

Their whole propaganda machine is geared towards “showing” the world how unfairly they are being treated just because they have shot a few harmless rockets at Israel in frustration at being unable to get the materials they need to prosper. They would be “somebody” in this world if it wasn't for those spiteful Israelis, Goddamnit!

So the EU, the U.S. and Egypt negotiate a settlement, Israel stops it’s shooting and then Hamas re-groups and re-supplies and comes back just a little bit stronger, a little bit more resolved in their belief that they can fulfill their ultimate calling: Driving the Jewish State to its knees. So with the help of the rest of the world, who don’t seem to like the Jewish State much either, Hamas lives to fight on. This is a tiresome cycle.

But there are growing signs that the world is tiring of their act and sees through the staged “destruction”, the human shields, the staged "man in the street" media interviews and the “casualties” who have been known to get up and walk once the pictures have been taken.

Even the politically ambitious and leather lunged U.S. Secretary of State John F. Kerry has come out to decisively straddle the situation when he said that Israel is justified in taking action to protect itself.

This is a departure in message. Gone is the knee-jerk denouncement of Israel’s defense, replaced by "concern' over civilian casualties.

When you go to the well too often, the well runs dry.

Some have described Israel giving up Philadelphi Corridor, the 14km long, 100 meter wide swath of land that once separated Gaza from Egypt as a big mistake. Or giving up Gaza for that matter 2 years earlier but if those two events have lead the region and the world to where we are right now: Finally believing that it Hamas is the sole driver of this conflict. They have only used such concessions as an opportunity to import the rockets that fly over Tel Aviv today.

Had they held onto Gaza and the Corridor, Israel would always be on the defensive about the speculation of what kind of state the disenfranchised “Palestinians” could have achieved had they gotten the opportunity.

Well now we know don’t we? They have fashioned an armed camp out of what once was not and filled it with cannon fodder that pass for people. They have manufactured an incredible honey comb of a land where armed men and weapons can be moved across the area and never have to be exposed to the surface. They have fashioned a state so twisted in its single-mindedness of purpose to kill Jews that they have neglected to build any other industry of worthy of merit.

So the plan to keep arms out of the hands of Hamas never was workable since Hamas always manages to get the weapons. The next best plan then, is to make them pay a BIG PRICE when they use them.

To the radical Muslims there are no civilians in their cause.  Everyone is an enemy soldier and every State an obstacle. In order to defeat these people, their way of fighting and their immutable way of thinking is to beat them down and after that, to beat them down again until they come up, pardon the use of an American colloquialism, “a Christian”.  History holds many examples of where this strategy was applied with success.

My philosophy professor in college opened our first class by asking the question; “Suppose you lived in a society that did not value life and when walking one day you passed over a bridge and upon looking down you noticed someone was drowning. What, given the society you were living in, would you be inclined to do?”

I answered that I would most likely have just stood there to watch that person drown.

I see no difference in that question and the kind of society that has sprung up in Gaza.

So now, regardless of how they actually feel, the world's politicians seem to be more inclined to watch how it’s done while Israel finally moves to at least attempt to solve their problems with a society upside-down in its thinking, upside-down in the purpose for which they live their lives and with the people who support it financially from the sidelines safely out of harm’s way.

Let's hope for civilizations sake that Israel prevails in their mission and that they maintain the resolve to take their fight to its successful conclusion. And afterwards, some reflection will be in order for Hamas, the UN, Iran, and Arabia upon their rolls in this conflict and the world at large but also reflection is called upon for the European Union and these United States.

All the condemnation, all the scolding and all the threats towards Israel over the years for the crime of self-defense from an organized and sometimes praised hate group has had to be hard to bear for them.

And heaven forbid any nation should have John Kerry foisted upon them as much as he has been upon Israel. Imagine Mr. Kerry coming to your office and basically talking you to death.

That is also a crime against humanity.

U.N. Indisputably Partisan in Syria Report

United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon said Monday that results of a report by U.N. inspectors confirming the use of chemical weapons in Syria are “overwhelming and indisputable.”

Actually there is plenty to dispute in the U.N. examination concerning the use of Sarin gas. Surface to air missles are very portable and both sides have them. There has been quite a bit of talk in the past of Syria Opposition forces, the al-Nusra, being caught in Turkey with Sarin. There were also accounts of Sarin being supplied to the Opposition from Saudi Arabia. The Opposition could have also obtained gas from former Syrian government bases that have fallen into their hands. Of course, nothing of the like shows up in the U.N. report.
It's all well and good to state emphatically that Sarin gas was used in Syria but it carries no weight. It is all a Big Lie to point to the Assad regime when the Opposition had access to the same weaponry and, as we all have seen before, has no qualms about staging a Propaganda Scene as only they can with the occasional unwitting martyr thrown in. Where is the moral high-ground for a group of Muslims who can strap a bomb to a mentally disabled teenager and send them into a crowded marketplace? So now we in the West are to believe that it is THEY who are wronged?

And did the U.N. count all the bodies? Early reports stated that MOST the "dead" were buried quickly since the Opposition "feared spreading contamination". If this is the case then the U.N. could never have counted them. No mention of counting them or exhuming the "bodies" appear. Having the Opposition control this message without independent confirmation simply can not be believed. And the film footage from the Opposition is also suspect. People writhing on a gurney with a oxygen mask on their face only reminds me of the Lebanon war where people were planted in destroyed buildings and when they were "rescued" they'd look up at the sky and blame Israel! I was born at night but not last night.
The United Nations is a juiceless organization propped up by the United States to do it's bidding around the world and their "work" in Syria is a classic case. In the eyes of most Americans they never had credibility and therefore cannot lose any more than they had.
The U.N. remains a joke and a puppet. The American people are tired of being played by our overbearing government and aspiring overbearing governments everywhere.

Arming Syrian Revolutionaries Is A Really Bad Idea

Who on God’s Green Earth thinks, besides the heads of the UN, EU and the US State Department, thinks that that arming Islamic Extremists in Syria is a good idea?
That’s right, nobody

Because it’s a crazy idea, that’s why.
Haven’t we learned one lesson in our endless conflict with these Islamic hoards?

We see these U.S. weapons twice. Once when they go out the shipping dock door and again when they’re fired back over the wall at us.
The U.S. remains a mostly Christian nation. The problem is that these Muslims HATE Christians. Not only will these weapons be used in the attempt to topple Assad’s regime, they will also be used to wage the ongoing war on the Christians that are still living in the country. There is great and abundant evidence that these Islamic “Revolutionaries” are killing Christians wherever they find them. So let’s give these people top notch weaponry so that they can finish the job!

Then there is Israel. Weapons in the Middle East have this uncanny habit of moving around. You never know where they will end up. Perhaps Gaza, perhaps Lebanon, who knows. The only given is at whom they will be aimed at if they do show up in these places.

Then there is the U.S. itself. We are the largest arms dealer in the world and business is GOOD. But if peace should break out and people stop fighting, business is BAD.

Instead of arming them, we should be starving them. It’s only a rebellion because the US is clandestinely supported them. Without the support of the US there is no so called revolt. The only real conflict here is the one pitting non-sectarian killers against religious killers. No good will come from continued US involvement. We can’t keep drugs out of this country; we’re going to keep these people from smuggling weapons into it?
So far the United States has done a great job of diplomacy in North Africa over the years and recent history is no exception. In the late 1970s we practically created the hard line rule and rise of Islamic resurgence in Iran by backing the ruthless Shah who served US interests above his own nations and have protected the House of Saud who keeps seemingly everybody else but their extensive family poor and who essentially rule the nation.  More recently we’ve managed to build an extreme Islamic State where none existed previously in Libya by our blatantly illegal intervention in their civil war.

These Islamic states shouldn’t be fighting us, they should be thanking us since the U.S. is doing for Islam what we did for Communism in the 1960s and 70s.  Without us, radical Islam wouldn't have half the grip on the countries as they have now.
So by all means let us openly ship arms to these needy brethren, our “brothers under the skin” so to speak.

What can possibly go wrong?

Time to Boot the United Nations...

It’s time to send that den of iniquity, the so called “United Nations” to some other country. Let these near do wells and universal haters go to some other country to have their tantrums. That is, if another country will have them.

Let these "people" drive on the sidewalks of some other nation and get them the hell out of New York and out of the US entirely. We don’t need these yoyos putting Iran on the Council for Human Rights or giving Arabs a say in what Israel can or cannot do. We don’t need to pay these nutjobs for the privilege of being in our country all the while their people are out in the streets burning our flag at the drop of a hat. Let them go pull Diplomatic Immunity in Thailand and see where that gets 'em.

They hate us for what we have all the while living over here enjoying the finest the world has to offer in New York City. Let these hypocrites find a fancy restaurant in Romania or Iceland if they hate us so much. Get them out of here.
Why do we give weight to an organization that would otherwise be widely ignored if we didn’t participate in it? Oh yes, the UN does our bidding when push comes to shove but that’s more about the money we give them to say yes. But do we really need that? We’re an autocratic empire after all and nobody believes the UN actually gives us permission to do anything nor that they are anything without us. Let them go to China and see if they all still strut.

Time for the UN to go. The time has come for them to enjoy some other fine city. Preferably somewhere far, far away. Perhaps even move them around every couple of years like the Olympics but get them out of here. They’re tiresome to watch and unnerving to put up with. Never before has the world gathered a more insufferable bunch of professional lollygaggers and men of non-action.

And just what has the UN ever achieved? Every conflict they have ever been involved with lingers on and on without a victor and the people suffer and suffer. Wars need victors, without which there can never be a resolution and eventual peace. Enter the UN who never gives one side or the other the satisfaction of victory so what would have been a short war becomes a very long one. Good show!  They're still glowering at each other in Kosovo after 25 years. Yet the UN wouldn't dream of saying a thing about the Chinese oppression in Tibet or the Russians in Chechnya. And Mormar Ghadafi is bad to the point of intervention yet Bashir al-Assad, not so much.

What has the UN done to relieve the "suffering" of the Palestinians? Have they lobbied Egypt, that vast and expansive country, for perhaps room for a state? Have they inquired to Saudi Arabia to perhaps support a Palestinian business community? Have the Palestinians themselves set up a Chamber of Commerce to solicit businesses from around the world to invest and purchase the goods that the Palestinian businesses themselves have produced? The answer is no, no, and “What do the Palestinians actually make besides tunnels, rockets and bombs?

No, really, do they even make pocket combs over there? They must have a flag company because they have such a ready supply of US flags to burn at the drop of a hat but I have yet to see a shirt or pair of slacks that say “Made in Palestine” on the label. Why? Because there isn’t any, outside of local date farming, they don’t make squat!

After 65 years of existence, the Palestinians remain single-mindedly devoted to the destruction of Israel to the exclusion of all else. Think about this for a moment. Generations of a people wasted for lifetimes. What could these people have built in all this time had they decided on a greater purpose for their lives. It’s incredible. And where do they get their money from if they don't possess a productive economy? Hmm?

Yet it is Israel, a free and democratic society, that is called upon to give precious territory for people who have vowed their destruction, who fire rockets into Israel EVERY DAY. Who would defend this? The UN does.

The UN has destroyed more than it has ever built, denied more than verified and have never defeated a foe. Let's face it, the UN is a pimple on the ass of human progress.

Let’s finally end this charade. I won’t miss them. Not for a minute.
