Shadowy Evidence Serves A Shadowy Presidency - Originally Posted 06/17/2013

Update: As the United States moves in intervene militarily in Syria yet again,  we can take another look at the past case for intervention; the evidence concerning the 2013 gas attacks which is now pointed to as a confirmed fact that Mr. Assad had ordered the use of chemical weapons.

It is not just a lie, it is an OBVIOUS lie.

Does anybody really know if Basher Assad used Sarin gas on what is described as “his own” people whatever that means? I take it to mean his Enemies.

But any excuse will serve a Tyrant. I read that in an Aesop fable somewhere and it seems to fit very well in this instance.

Should we take French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabious’ super- ambiguous statement saying “Sarin gas was used in Syria” as a reason to enter the fray against Assad? What if it turns out that the rebel faction actually used the gas?  Now wouldn’t THAT be awkward? I don’t even want to go into where the gas came from if, indeed, it was there in the first place.

And where is the UN at? Aren't they going to "condemn" this alleged behavior for us?

But at any rate, here we are once again poised for yet another intervention in yet another civil war in yet another Middle East nation but all of a sudden the Obama Regime is worried about how it’s going to look THIS time?

So here is the old “Weapons of Mass Destruction” construct re-worked this time with a Red Line to be crossed and rolled out for another Big-Lie-Go-Round. This is the part of the current syndicate that’s been running this country that can be said to be truly transparent.

But our shadowy president and his shadowy henchmen that pass for advisors and cabinet secretaries are once again blindly feeling down the short sighted trail of foreign relations. What on earth do they hope to accomplish other than more instability, fear of the future and pain?

Libya worked out real well for Obama already didn’t it? Well here comes Syria!

So what can an out of control government leading the biggest economy in the world do? Should we go back to the “Death From Above” campaign we’re so good at or should we get serious this time and put boots on the ground?

What could possibly go wrong with that?

We should most likely see both Russia and Iran going all-in on Syria and really start sending in the BIG STUFF along with trainers, support staff and mercenary troops. Maybe then France and England get in on the act and Whoopee, we'll really be warring our way to prosperity won't we? 

Short supply lines, access to willing combatants and dwindling war chests back home should make the going difficult for the U.S. Imperialist Machine in Syria. There is no economic engine driving this or any of the other military expenditures the Obama presidency has been involved in. It's all just IOUs at this point since none of the money spent has been earned yet.

If we as a nation actually had a functioning Congress, Obama wouldn’t have gotten his Libyan Adventure off the ground never mind starting this one. The Obama Regime was in clear violation of the War Powers Act in regards to Libya but nobody can do anything to stop a president from going to war anymore. 

All we can do is now is watch.

U.N. Indisputably Partisan in Syria Report

United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon said Monday that results of a report by U.N. inspectors confirming the use of chemical weapons in Syria are “overwhelming and indisputable.”

Actually there is plenty to dispute in the U.N. examination concerning the use of Sarin gas. Surface to air missles are very portable and both sides have them. There has been quite a bit of talk in the past of Syria Opposition forces, the al-Nusra, being caught in Turkey with Sarin. There were also accounts of Sarin being supplied to the Opposition from Saudi Arabia. The Opposition could have also obtained gas from former Syrian government bases that have fallen into their hands. Of course, nothing of the like shows up in the U.N. report.

It's all well and good to state emphatically that Sarin gas was used in Syria but it carries no weight. It is all a Big Lie to point to the Assad regime when the Opposition had access to the same weaponry and, as we all have seen before, has no qualms about staging a Propaganda Scene as only they can with the occasional unwitting martyr thrown in. Where is the moral high-ground for a group of Muslims who can strap a bomb to a mentally disabled teenager and send them into a crowded marketplace? So now we in the West are to believe that it is THEY who are wronged?

And did the U.N. count all the bodies? Early reports stated that MOST the "dead" were buried quickly since the Opposition "feared spreading contamination". If this is the case then the U.N. could never have counted them. No mention of counting them or exhuming the "bodies" appear. Having the Opposition control this message without independent confirmation simply can not be believed. And the film footage from the Opposition is also suspect. People writhing on a gurney with a oxygen mask on their face only reminds me of the Lebanon war where people were planted in destroyed buildings and when they were "rescued" they'd look up at the sky and blame Israel! I was born at night but not last night.

The United Nations is a juiceless organization propped up by the United States to do it's bidding around the world and their "work" in Syria is a classic case. In the eyes of most Americans they never had credibility and therefore cannot lose any more than they had.

The U.N. remains a joke and a puppet. The American people are tired of being played by our overbearing government and aspiring overbearing governments everywhere. 

Big Lie Alive and Well in Syria

Oh there may have actually been a gas attack but who actually pulled the trigger?

In the past I have seen the Middle East Muslims pull some extreme moves in their attempts to “win” the propaganda war, even killing their own people in efforts to raise the body count in past confrontations with Israel so I believe NOTHING I see in these images and footage coming out of Syria by “The Opposition”.

Many in the United States still have what I call a Suspension of Belief when it comes to understanding that these people will stoop to just about anything to show a picture to the world and convince people that something is so when it is not.

And I believe this, again, is one of those times. After all, this is their second attempt.

I’m not even sure that all these people shown in these pictures are even dead. This is the extent that the Middle East “Boy Cries Wolf” faction has overused and over extended their Propaganda efforts, aimed squarely at the West, to the point where I don’t even believe people were killed. The so called Rebels are controlling the message and I just can’t believe it because of the source. How many times can we be lied to until the images and words have no meaning?

But the governments of France, Britain and the United States WANT to believe them and that’s all we need to know. France appears to really be itching to get in there for some reason. But the U.S. and Britain also are all too willing to take Hitler’s most famous use of the Big Lie as an excuse for the same purpose: Military Intervention, this time in Syria.

I mean, Bashir Assad’s forces appear to be winning every major confrontation they are involved in right now. They have planes, men and plenty of conventional weapons. Would they decide to use chemical weapons that would surely invite outside intervention and change the course of the conflict to their dissadvantage. It doesn't make sense.

This is the point. Assad’s enemies know they have lost their advantage and aren’t going to prevail unless something changes. They NEED intervention from the Western world to win. And if that happens and they do prevail, THEN they will fight to throw the “Foreign Satan” out too. That’s how it works.

There is also the added PROBLEM of Egypt’s renewed civil warfare. This is HOGGING the headlines once held by the Syrian “Freedom Fighters”. There’s only so much room on the front page and once you’re off it, it’s tough to get back on and keep the money coming.

No, I don’t believe the Assad regime has anything to gain from using gas. I think The Opposition has everything to gain from the world THINKING Assad’s regime has used gas and at this point I wouldn’t put it past them to actually gas a few of their own people into martyrdom to give the story some legs. The rest of the people are live stand-ins for the photo-ops.

We will also find the numbers of the so called dead are greatly exaggerated. The “sources” for these stories have already stated that most of the “dead” were buried quickly in mass graves so confirmation of this alleged event will be hard to confirm. We see pictures of “bodies” wrapped in white but the faces are exposed which differs from the usual pictures of Muslim dead which usually has the faces covered.   

I have seen too much of Propaganda the Middle Eastern way to buy this story. I have seen the extent of which these people are willing to go to make a story seem real, the same destruction from multiple angles, people playing injured who weren’t, shooting missiles from school yards to beg retaliation and, as I've already mentioned, shooting some of their own people in firefights . And how is it that any Israeli missile can only hit civilians? Those guys can't seem to hit a Muslim soldier no way, no how! I don't know how they stay in business.

So we will definitely see another attempt, better than the previous failed attempt by France and the U.S., to confirm that the Assad group had used gas.

Only this time I’m sure they’ll spin it better.
