Castro's Revolution a Failure

The largest export of Cuba is Cubans.

This has been the end result of the glorious Communist vision of Fidel Castro. The people who are left on the island are glad to see the others go not because they view them as traitors to the Revolution but that by leaving their backward, impoverished island nation they know there will be fewer people to compete for the limited resources they need to sustain themselves.

After all this time, the only thing Fidel Castro and his Revolutionaries have to trumpet about is the glories of an empty island in the sun that doesn’t look like it’s progressed a day beyond that first day of January 1959 when Castro and his merry band of brothers road into Havana and time, for the Cuban people at least, stopped.

Yes, the Cuban revolution managed to throw out American business interests. And THEN what happened? Nothing! Such is the extent of the success of the revolution.Oh, they tried to get Russia interested in a missile base and they managed to train some decent boxers but that's about it.

Although it hasn't been good to anyone else in particular, the revolution has been good to the Castro brothers, Fidel and Raul. They get to rule over a fiefdom that never ever actually accomplished anything but throw out the American Capitalists. For the time being anyway. And then there is that thing about the mass exodus of it's people from the workers paradise.

Never having anything to offer people born with ambition, for we are all born with ambition, the hardly educated Castro just let them go so he could go on being the Dictator rather than actually attempt to build a culture, educate the people, build a shining city or even a road for that matter.

After all, being King was all he was ever good at. A fighter can lead a revolt but they can never lead a peace. Mao couldn’t do it, Stalin couldn’t do it and although Castro’s death counts hasn’t noticeably come near that of those two, he has killed his share. He knows no other way to hold onto power. A killer can never be anything else.

But soon El Captain will shed his mortal coil and although Raul, part of the Communist youth movement at a spry 85 years old and the rest of the now geriatric placeholders will try to keep Castro’s “Vision” alive, not knowing what that ever was and the hands of time will once again hand over Cuba to people who actually want a quality life and who want to own stuff.

And to think that there are people, mostly privileged people who have been allowed to travel to Cuba despite the U.S. ban, who think opening up the country to trade will somehow RUIN the country and its people. Can you believe it? How backward can you get? They are already ruined, now they must be resurrected.

How would YOU like to live everyday like its 1959? And I’m not talking about Soc Hops, souped up hot rods, chics in poodle skirts and Buddy Holly on the jukebox at the soda shop kind of 1959. No no, Cuba today is the 1959 where X-Rays were just coming into fashion, a time where there was no such thing as a pacemaker, high blood pressure medicine, blood thinners or coronary bypass surgery. All gasoline sold had LEAD as an octane boosting additive, automobiles didn't have either seat belts or head rests never mind airbags and "Smoking isn't bad for you at all." said your doctor while puffing on an unfiltered Camel cigarette in the examination room!

Some phones still had a crank on them and "party lines", where the whole community was on the same phone line, still were prevalent outside of the big cities IF the phone company decided to run a wire to your town at all. Most of the TVs were still black & white and there actually WERE roads like Mayberry RFD (for Rural Farm Drive) and nothing was open on Sunday EVER. Plus you could go to jail for a year for possession of one joint in many states. Yes, THAT 1959.

Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if you didn’t know what you were missing but guess what? You DO know what you’re missing. And so do the Cuban people. People are people everywhere in that they want to enjoy the fruits of their own labor and to provide for their families. They want a goal to work towards and to achieve things in their working lives. They may not all get to where they want to go but it’s in the chance to achieve these things that the Castro Regime has kept from them. Look at the way Castro’s “Children of the Revolution” are living. Then look at the masses that have risked everything to get the hell out of there. Let’s face it, it is a total act of desperation to get on an old car tire inner tube and try to paddle your ass to Florida. But that’s just what these people are doing. There are many Cubans on the bottom of the Florida Straits.

Castro won the revolution alright but he will leave his nation worse off than when he “saved” it and in reality he didn't save it from anybody, he only saved it for himself. Cuba is a land that time has left behind and like North Korea, will have a huge learning curve when civilization finally catches up to them. And it will. It always does.

Now in his twilight, we can look at Castro's reign over Cuba with clarity and so with clarity can declare that he has failed Cuba. Castro failed Cuba and its long suffering people with his selfish small thinking. He never had a plan after victory. He never accomplished a thing beyond the revolution. A revolution he relived in his mind everyday and never stopped talking about. But what he always spoke so fervently about was in the past. And now it's the distant past.

Castro never took a step beyond that one victory, 57 years ago, to develop a country that could exemplify that his way was the better way. He could never show that to the world because he couldn't do it. In this Castro failed like the other despots before him who espoused a Communist ideal that they could never conjure and despite all his grand talk of freedom for the working people, he was just another short-sighted man who could only lead with a gun.

The sooner history forgets him, the better.

Muslim Hordes Poised to Overrun Europe!

Doesn’t look like the European Union has spent any time studying the “American Example” of letting too many people into the country that have no vested interest in the nation beyond receiving benefits that the taxpaying citizenry receives but also pays for. With some reports stating that anywhere from 51% to 71% of our burgeoning illegal immigrant population receive some form of assistance whether that be Food Stamps, Section 8 type housing allowance, WIC (Women, Infants & Children) Benefits, A Welfare Stipend, Free Public School Education for the kids, Instate Tuition for the college bound kids and Free Health Care. Take your pick.

What is happening in the United States is that the government is jamming large groups of kids into public school systems that don’t speak English and expecting the teachers to prepare them, as well as the other students in those classes, for mandated evaluation exams. Increasing class sizes and integrating non-english speaking students is a recipe for disaster. What is happening also is that communities are being put under tremendous pressure to house these people and to provide for their needs.

The bottom line is that there are quite a bit of resources going to these people that are paid for by resident taxpaying workers in a time of economic contraction and declining wages. Every dime that is taken for this assistance means less for the people who pay, less for the businesses they would otherwise frequent and less for the overall economy of the nation. In short: A downward spiral.

The reason why we are stumbling through the Obama years is that too much is given away for free and the people who are paying for it have to make hard economic choices when it comes to their spending. It’s the taxpayer that is going without, not the illegal immigrant.

This imbalance has proven to be the unsettlement of the nation.

The reason we even had Health Insurance in the first place was to protect us from crippling balloon payments connected with costs of health care. But now we have big payments for everything AND we still have to pay the insurance premiums.  It’s like we’re paying into a system so that we can be allowed to pay into the system. And on the other end, it’s all being handed out for little or no costs. Their costs are SUBSIDIZED by the American taxpayer who, right now, is struggling to keep ahead of the rising costs of food, housing and yes, HEALTH CARE.

This model will not stand.

Yes, the United States is a melting pot but this is not the way to do it.

On to Europe!

So now the turmoil of endless warfare and the ever growing injection of increasingly sophisticated weaponry into the region by the United States in its unthinking effort to “Shovel Shit Against the Tide” in the Middle East has started an Exodus.  And since the EU has enacted welcoming laws like those of the United States, rather than stand and fight, the great unwashed masses of the Middle East have decided to take the path of least resistance and head to the wealthiest states in the Union. They can give two shits about Hungary or Poland, heck, they got nothing for them. No, they are making a B-line towards Germany and Austria, the most well-to-do, for now, states in the EU.

And why not, these people aren’t just content to be out of their war-torn countries, they want MORE. More of what YOU have since you have become rich beyond measure in comparison to them.  THEY want what YOU have. And now’s the time you give it to them.  After all, you’re suckers to begin with so why not see how much they can take? It’s only human nature.

AND the added benefit of the Middle East is that these hordes asking for help from the Christians are Muslim, a group that is notorious for not assimilating into countries they invade. And why should they? It is YOU that must change. Witness the protests and the demands these interlopers have been making in Hungary. Will they be any different somewhere else? I think not.

Hungarian leader Vicktor Orban, has been heavily criticized in the International Press for being, of all things, Nationalistic! He has referred to the immigrants as "illegal". He has warned that Christians will be the minority in Europe it this mass migration continues. He has been accused of hypocrisy because he was raised an Atheist. It’s as if it is a crime in itself to have a love of country or perhaps to even find God, especially if it is a Christian one. Seeing the situation for what it is has made Mr. Orban a lightning rod for scrutiny.

But for whatever reason, we already have evidence of what happens in countries where the Christians become a minority. They get Run Out on a Rail or killed and their churches burned. This has been happening recently in India, Egypt, Syria and Saudi Arabia, Niger and Israel to name just a few.

When people are out to get you, “Paranoia” becomes just “Good Thinking”.

It is easy for The Global(ist) Media to criticize people opposed to this human influx, put out pictures of drowned kids and lead the charge to champion the "plight" of these poor, poor, poor people who have the money to pay thousands of dollars for passage and who all seem to be holding smart phones. It won't be THEY who will have to deal with the consequences of this mass immigration.

But ultimately it is the competition for resources that will be the biggest conflict. With nations heavily in debt, where is the money going to come from? With large groups of unmutable peoples, how are the host countries going to deal with the discontent that will invariably arise from too many people chasing too few resources. How can a country the size of Germany possibly prepare for 300,000, 500,000, 800,000 people?

Good question, glad I asked it.

Why Europe?

A question also comes to mind of why, with all these other Muslim countries these "Migrants" can "Emigrate" to, are all these people heading straight to Europe? Wouldn't they rather be with people who believe in what they believe or is there something else involved?

We don't hear any pledges to take ANY of these Syrian refugees coming from Iran, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt, Turkey, Sudan, Algeria, Jordan or the UAE, No, it is Europe who will best set these people "yearning to be free" up in style better than any of these places with free lodging, clothes and free schooling. At least until they can set up their own separate religious schools.

Back in 1675 in New England, King Philip had the Colonials on the ropes early in what has come to be known as King Philip’s War. Towns like Springfield, Middleboro and Deerfield had to be abandoned or nearly abandoned and by putting people on the move, the more established towns were really put out in their efforts to support these “refugees”. It momentarily changed the war in the favor of the Indians. If it wasn’t for the scourge of European diseases and lack of food, King Philip may well have triumphed in his efforts to rid New England of the invaders. At least temporarily.
Putting people on the move has always been a good tactic in warfare since it ultimately destabilizes an enemy’s position when they have to absorb so many people.

This time the enemy has put people who are more like them on the move rather than like the people they are going to. Doesn’t take a genius to see the problems.

We need only look to America.

Donald Trump Deporting Illegals: Si Se Puede!

I am already tired of all the bullshit “He can’t win” baloney.  My favorite is the statisticians that have “mathematically” eliminated Donald Trump’s candidacy because he’s winning so early in the process. They may never have heard of the term “leading wire to wire” before.

Immigration is the battle for the remainder of the North American Republic.  Yes, that’s us.

It is a situation that even if you are here illegally, you want to put an end to. Imagine, what good is sneaking into a country and then have it go to shit? You want that? Then you have to find another one and the other one’s are going to know you’re coming and you will REALLY get a cold reception there since they know you’re hordes of uneducated, unprincipled Visigoths have already laid waste to one country. Someone is bound to start really shooting. Then you have a real boarder war. They won't be shooting over your heads at the Canadian border at that point.

My second favorite bit of bullshit comes from the likes of PBS, the National Public Broadcasting System that is funded largely by taxpayer money and contributions from people to whom I refer to as GRPs or Guilty Rich People. You see, GRPs actually think they are helping people by lobbying the government to spend Other People’s Money (OPMs) on things like “Safety Net” programs and National Health Care so that the working society will take care of these poor downtrodden folks who's only crime is that they are in the country illegally. Wait, that IS a crime!

Little do they know that by doing so, these poor downtrodden folks are incentivized to stay poor and down trodden and useful slaves to the system. In other words, a life of servitude. And the big companies that employ these Great Unwashed get to skate on the benefits that companies are normally required to give their employees. That's a big savings advantage for a business. They would obviously prefer that the general public cover the costs of policing, educating and housing these people who need everything and have brought nothing. After all, Tyson Foods and other big processing plants needs fodder for the mills and they don’t want to pay too much for it either. This is why the taxpayer must pay.

But at any rate, PBS and the Leftist Media tells us that deporting illegals is “Impossible” and “Unworkable” there are just too many people here illegally and since we “Can’t Deport Them All” we must find a way to help them stay. Also it would be DEVASTATING to the American Economy to not have these SERFS in the workforce any longer. Who will fill their shoddy shoes?

But we MOST CERTAINLY can deport 30 million illegal aliens, that is, if you WANT to deport 30 million illegal aliens.

The FIRST THING you do is make it illegal to EMPLOY illegal aliens. Hefty fines, immigration raids (remember when we used to do THOSE?) and plant shutdowns will convince even the hardiest of illegal alien employers to find a more fertile field in which to find workers. They may even look for them in the U.S.

The SECOND THING you do is end America’s version of The Dole by cutting unemployment benefits and the massive Food Stamp program that is so awash in taxpayer cash that they run advertisements on television and radio to keep people coming in the doors. This is something that should not be paying tax money to advertise. Once the people can’t get the free money, they will have to get money the old fashioned way, they’ll have to EARN IT like the rest of us wage slaves. Also by cutting "benefits" like Unemployment Insurance, which is now up to 30 weeks, that money can stay with the employers who are required to pay it so they can use it to hire workers instead of paying people who are not working. How cruel!

By cutting off the job supply for illegals and incentivizing work for the rest of the citizenry, the artificial market for masses of illegals will shrink rapidly and many will self-deport, meaning they’ll have to return to wherever it is they came from. This will also keep others from bothering to come and perhaps they'll stay where they are and work to change the system in their own country. How backward!

So YES WE CAN get rid of this massive influx of illegals.

Donald Trump’s idea of finally going after the 14th Amendment is the BEST THING we can do to save this nation. Any Constitutionalist who isn’t tragically bent to the Left will tell you that the 14th Amendment wasn’t enacted to keep illegals in this country and give them defacto citizenship. It was to give citizenship to freed slaves brought from overseas before and up to 1868 since the defeat of the Southern States in the War of Succession brought about the end of legal slavery in the nation and so gave them the rights all citizens up to that time enjoyed. NOBODY except Jeb Bush believes the 14th Amendment was meant to secure citizenship for people illegally invading our country. The import of slaves was a legal trade back in the day so subsequently, Africans and other slaves were brought here legally. The 14th Amendment gave them legitimacy under the law. Many had fought for the North in the Army and the Navy.

Now this misapplied judgement must be definitively declared null and void. Nowhere else in the First World can you drop a kid and have is instantly be declared a citizen. The 14th Amendment does not say this and neither should We the People. Try that in Germany, Spain, Canada, Australia, hell, try it in Mexico!

So yeah, I’d pull the lever for Donald Trump for his stance on Illegal Immigration ALONE and if I was a Legal Immigrant from ANYWHERE and was able to vote, I’d do it too.

At least you’d be voting to have a country to live in, for yourself and your heirs.

Pope Francis Prostitutes Himself for Climate Commies

Was he, as an unknown and aspiring priest in Argentina, Jorge Bergoglio, really studying Meteorology instead of Theology back in the Seminary?  And now, as Pope Francis, has he sequestered himself in his humble chambers pouring over climate charts until late in the evening, studying ancient texts and aquiring all the climate data he can from the last century and beyond? Because if he wasn’t, then what the FUCK does The Pope know about Climate Change?

The answer, of course, is NOTHING. The Pope only knows what other people tell him about "Man Made Climate Disruption". He's a seldom heard from priest in South America and now he's an expert on climate AND The Pope.

Oh, but now as the top guy in the Catholic Church he is the Earths biggest champion advocating for big goverment intervention, regulations and MONEY to fight the emergent scourge of the Weather. Having a "Fan Friendly" Pope as an advocate of the Global Socialist Cabal will be seen by many as a boon to convincing the Rubes around the world that Global Warming, I mean, Climate Change is actually a real thing instead of what it is, another global grab for power by a government elite.

It’s all about the Benjamin’s with the Catholic Organization. If a church isn't “pulling it in” what does the organization do? They close it. Sorry, no more services here so move along and find another church to go to that can make some real revenue. After all, we do all sorts of good deeds with it although we don’t have time to go into detail. Thanks for your co-operation.

As a child in the Boston housing projects both the Catholic and Protestant churches sent offering envelops home with every child. Didn't matter how poor you are, you are never too poor to give to the church!

And now the church can debit your bank account monthly. How convenient!

What we don't hear is the Pope pledging Vatican Money for research and to join the "fight" to Save the Planet with their own resources. Heaven forbid!

It seems that the “The People’s Pope” has found a way to fill the Vatican vaults with Al Gore level money, by using his high and lofty status to tout something he knows even less about than the Bible or God: Global Climate Change.

It’s brilliant isn't it? If the Pope calls for the destruction of every countries economy, there will be more poor people than ever. Oh, it's good to be Pope!

Who doesn't think money isn't involved? We've seen others grow rich and fat on the climate change gravy train. Why WOULDN'T the Pope go for it? It isn't like he’s taken a vow of poverty or anything; he’s got a dwindling world empire to bring back to power! There is definitely a marketable quality to Pope Francis that we haven't seen with the other Popes. By leveraging his elevated status since he took "office" a favorable statement by Pope Francis could command big money. He can sell you Catholic Guilt, White Guilt, Wealth Guilt, Pope Francis can sell it all.

It is apparent that Pope Francis has sold his soul to the Devil of Climate Change and now he's on board the Government Train and preaching to the world, again, that it is Man that is the problem with the world. And isn't Pope Francis also a man? On top of that he has become a Useful Idiot for the power brokers of Climate Politics.

Contrary to popular belief, Popes are not chosen for their brains. They’re chosen for…er…I don’t know , perhaps how they look in a dress, who really knows but judging by the last two Popes, one who liked to spend the money, wear the cape, wear the jewels and the other who pretends not to like spending the money and goes tilting at windmills that don’t even really exist, they aren't the sharpest tools in the ecumenical shed.

Birds of a feather…fly together and so Pope Francis has joined the Global Bullshit Squad for Climate Awareness. And who cares if there isn’t an ounce of truth to any of it. That’s not the point. Its control of the means of production these Climate Communists want.

There’s a lot of money involved and a lot of power at stake and the Pope wants in on it. That money can but a lot of influence and it can certainly buy a lot of people.

Hell, it bought a Pope.

Obama Business Model on Display In Venezuela

This is what awaits us under the iron fist of Big Government. They know better than you about how to spend your money and they see that you don’t get to keep too much of it. After all, there are others that need it more than you do.

Shortages, hardship and pain await the Socialist Nations of the world more so than the still productive countries of the world who are struggling to throw off the yoke of their benevolent self-destruction disguised as social justice. You can’t give what you make or do away for free. The world does not turn on the redistribution of wealth and it NEVER HAS.

If nobody minds lining up for the most necessary of sundries like laundry detergent, paper towels, sugar, rice and beans then by all means let us continue the path we are on to it’s ultimate conclusion.
Imagine the police, and we have A LOT of police in this country, telling you how much you can charge for goods in your store just before it turns into yet another empty store front and you are out in the street with everybody else vying for a piece of an ever shrinking pie.

The politicians RIGHT NOW are talking about improving education when the State run education system sucks up so much of the taxpayer resources, more than half of every town budget, and gives little to the point where taxpayers are supporting the public schools from their property taxes and then ponying up more money to send their kids to a private school. And the people who can’t do that are left with the standard, substandard, public school. This is most prevalent in the nation’s cities where the public school system is SO BAD. So how is more of THAT going to do ANYTHING?

And what good is an education, nobody seems to mention, if you don’t have a JOB to go to?
The streets of Venezuela awaits us all if we continue down this path. It may already be too late but if something happens tomorrow, if someone still cares about doing a good job and is interested in the American Ideal of Independence, Self-Sufficiency, Self-Reliance and doing the right thing, who knows?

But if we don’t get it, it’s every person for themselves anyway. There’s no reason to continue acting like the money is good and that the law is on your side. We must all turn to the golden rule of boxing:
Protect yourself at all times.

The prepared will suffer. The unprepared will starve.

Crumble, Crumble Goes Socialist Venezuela

The growing protest movement in Venezuela, organized by those opposed to Socialist Crazy-Man Nicolas Maduro and his total ignorace of everything economic and logical, will end badly.

When people are pushed to the breaking point, they will fight back. The freedom loving people of Venezuela will conclude that rather than waiting at home for the end, either by being murdered by thugs, dragged off by Maduro's undercover police or just shear starvation, that it would be better to die fighting than by any other means currently available in that South American Socialist Paradise that is the country of Venezuela.

As the country goes the way of all other Socialist nations, either being held together by walls or by guns, the Libertarian can once again look into the mirror and say, "Oh well, right again."

This isn't really about economics any longer, mainly because Socialism isn't based upon economics, it's based upon buying support of the uneducated majority and using them as a hammer against the educated and productive. With the exception of todays United States, nowhere has this been more evident than in Venezuela where the lower classes are kept down not by the upper classes so much as the government they've grown to rely upon for everything from their daily bread to the clothes on their backs. The government needs them so why the hell would they want them to advance themselves?

But these great unwashed, uneducated and devoted Socialist masses remain a force to be reconded with. With the government's blessing and support, they will fight the anti-socialist forces and mix their blood with the grime of their Venezuelan slums that they've never seemed to improve upon even though they has supported the government for the last 12 years.

The oposition had better be ready to fight because their freedom from Maduro's idiotic repression and total abandonment will not by given. It has to be taken. Walks for Peace ain't gonna cut it with the people with the guns and the will to use them. There is a decision to be made.

It looks like years of hardship has taken it's toll on the thinking population, those people who work their jobs and businesses to make a living for themselves and their families. The loss of even the most basic items we take for granted everyday and without which makes living in an atmosphere of fear, scarcity and no future truely hard to bear.

They may not be able to dislodge Maduro but the Opposition can marginalize him. They can take back their townships and run them in a practical and functional way and dare Maduro and his minions to march against them into the countryside where their influence is not as strong. And like every revolutionary, the Opposition must contemplate the consequences of their actions and resistance. Under the present circumstances the choices are few.

People can only be pushed so far.

Venezuelan Citizenry Losing Moral High Ground

This is the trick of the Socialist System: Make the slaves love their slavery
Make them embrace their servitude and instill the fear that they can’t function on their own without the heavy hand of government. This is where the people of Venezuela are right now. There are many who still understand how their country is supposed to work but they are outnumbered by those who just blindly WANT and will run to the hand that will GIVE it do them. Enter El Presedente Maduro or should I say "Robin Hood".

It is disturbing to read the quotes from the “bargain hunters” queuing up at the Daka electronics chain recently seized by Venezuelan government troops to hear them say they have no love for the government BUT are still all too willing to take a cheap Television basically at the retail electronics chain's and their 500 employee's expense.
There is a lesson to be learned in all of this.

The Venezuelan people have shortages of the most basic products of human sustenance: Chicken, rice, coffee, sugar, cornflour, cooking oil, milk and yes, even the most important paper in any business or home; toilet tissue, and yet will queue up and purchase at a "discount" a Television when Mr. Maduro sends his goon squad to set up an organized looting of a Venezuelan electronics chain.

People can rationalize anything.
Venezuela USED TO produce rice and USED TO produce coffee, good coffee too but since the government introduced price controls producers of these products dwindled and when the government eventually took over most of the fields, these products have all but disappeared in quantity that can feed a town never mind a nation. This is the same sort of process that led to the former Soviet Union’s disappointing 76 year crop “Drought”.

Yet the recent hordes that lined up as soon as the government solders jailed the Daka chain’s store managers and started selling the inventory at “fair” prices, all that is apparently forgotten and what the government has done is a GOOD THING. It has become obvious that the Venezuelan people either don’t know or don’t care and for this I have lost my sympathy for their situation since we here in the formerly industrialized Northeastern part of the United States face a similar situation in the future. They have made their choice and they are to suffer the consequences since there will be no one to help them. Socialism isn't about helping oneself unless you include "helping yourself" to the fruits of someone else's labor. But how long will that last?
I hope those TELEVISIONS last awhile since I have a feeling that this will be the last crack most of the Venezuelan people get at them. I find this more than ironic since Venezuela is also a country that can’t seem to keep the electricity running on a weekly basis, having frequent blackouts across the Provinces. The Venezuelan infrastructure is crumbling.

The Venezuelan economy has too much money chasing too few goods. This means that the Venezuelan government has created money in excess of production. That means inflation or rather "Inflación increíble!".

When a government taxes, regulates, price controls and downright seizes the assests of private busnesses, you essentially drive them and the businesses that produce the goods they sell out of business and production halts. The Venezuelan people may love the idea that they have money in their pockets but since the means of production has been confiscated, consumers can't purchase what isn't made. This is the lopsided economic model that Socialism produces and has never failed to reach: Inefficiencies, shortages and hardship.

In a Free Market system manufacturers will increase supply to meet demand and bring a balance to a products availability and its pricing. This is what leads to new hiring and the growth of industry, production and wealth. Lacking this, Venezuela is a poor country.

But Venezuela does have oil. Venezuela has LOTS of oil. Problem is they can’t seem to get it outta the ground on their own yet they seem to hate the people that help them. They’ve seized oil platforms from private drillers but now those ungrateful people have pulled out of the country so there won’t be any more where that came from.

Taking things from Free Market enterprises does not serve as a long-term economic strategy.

But that's the basic Method of Operation for Socialist/Totalitarian regimes. They HAVE to take from the producers since these systems don't produce. Mr. Maduro’s government, like his predecessor Hugo Chavez, have to continue to seize private enterprises until there is nothing left to take. That's when the failure of these "Business Models" show their gapping flaws: They don't make any money.
And this is all come about because of Capitalism. That’s right. Or to be more exact the Free Market principle of Capitalism which raises many boats and allows for more than a single power structure. This has to go since it is in direct opposition to a Totalitarian power structure. We can’t have multiple groups with resources and means of self-fulfillment and quality of life. Totalitarians everywhere agree that the people must only come to them for sustenance.

Yet the Invisible Hand of the Marketplace is still all around us, it is born into us right from the very beginning of our lives.  It motivates us to do things for ourselves and by ourselves we can serve others and ourselves at the same time. It raises all boats, or rather all boats that want to float, and rewards those who wish to work and who have a better idea, to reap the benefits of that work and those ideas.

No, it's not Utopia and it has never passed itself off as such. Not everybody makes it to the top of their profession but then again, everybody's idea of the Top is different. You'll at least be better off at the level you achieve then if you never went for it and if you go out to buy  a steak, sushi, chicken or rice, the chances are very good that you'll be able to put your hand right on them and that you can afford to buy them.

Without this Work/Reward dynamic, there are no new ideas, no new industry and no prosperity. If you want something, anything really, understand what it will take to achieve and are willing to do the work for it, you can get it. Better to have a chance on a level playing field and fail than to never get a chance in the first place. To lock oneself in a cycle of dependency is the greatest failure.

The Venezuelan people appear to not realize what an opportunity they have in their hands since they are not without the industrial spirit. They just don’t know who to blame for their current situation. Right now, it looks like THEMSELVES. After close to two decades of Socialist claptrap, it appears a majority will still pull the lever for President Maduro.
Oh, but Capitalists loot and exploit the people! They only work for profit and grow rich through the toil of the downtrodden. Why should the top people in the organization get paid more than the lower people? Why don’t they pay people “Living” wages? It is the Capitalists who have TVs and the people get nothing!

Ok, then feel free to move to Venezuela where they’ve managed to get rid of those evil Capitalists.
They’re doing so much better there.

The Secret Service's Secret Services.

Is this what the long suffering American taxpayer, the ones of us who still pay taxes that is, deserves? Is this what our government's vaunted minions do with our money, under aged hookers? Well, not in Columbia anyway since hooking is legal but really, UNDER AGED HOOKERS?

Twenty call girls at last count, too. This is surely setting a shining example of American professionalism at the government level that I’m sure will stand as a model for other country’s intelligence services to emulate. This is how we do it in the States, right boys? Across the Atlantic the Israelis are scratching their heads.

At least the breakdown of government services, the pouring of ever increasing amounts of money into every institution and getting less and less from them, is also showing in the higher levels. These people have bitchen, high paying government jobs that they apparently don’t take seriously. Don't they understand the struggles people are going through in this country while they're out having their "foreign relations?"

They have one job. Not multiple tasks like people who actually work for a living have, like take orders, process orders, follow through on the orders, catalog the orders, file the orders, call to check on the orders, run the credit checks for the orders and confirm delivery of the orders etc.

These people just have the job of protecting US diplomats. And the top US diplomat is the President of the United States when he’s on the road and I don’t want to see a sitting US president get popped in some foreign land because America’s "best and brightest" are too hung over from a night of debauchery to protect the president. Did they join to give service to the country or for the drugs, booze and broads? And can you imagine if this happened under Ronald Reagan?  It’s just shoddy, out of control behavior.

These people are all the same whether they're the CIA, TSA, DHS, BATF or the Secret Service: They live a life well above the level of a majority of the people who pay their salaries as well as living a life above the law. In other words, they can get away with murder and we all know it.

While they may be good at investigating militia groups in Montana, crushing men, women and children in Texas and setting up church members in Idaho, it turns out that all the government's men are just plain lucky when it comes to protecting the president of the United States.

The Russians, Chinese and the Arab extremists are all collectively slapping their heads today when they read the news and realized that they could have been “pumping” information out of these yoyos for years! And who says they haven’t been? The president’s itinerary was found in some of the rooms that these guys had the hookers in. And we all know how well we can trust hookers, right? Hearts of gold they have, didn’t you ever see Pretty Woman?

Fry ‘em all. Every single one should lose not only their jobs but their pensions, which I’m sure, are pretty impressive given that it’s government that’s paying the big money for talent these days. They’re the biggest employer in DC. Throw ‘em all out.

That will give them time to think with the brains instead of their weenies.

The Federal Government and Overt Aid to Illegal Aliens

Now there is absolute proof that the Federal Government is not only allowing illegal aliens to stay in this country where they can also illegally collect aid paid for by the American Taxpayer but has for decades provided them the means to evade detection and gain the status that many legal immigrants have waited years to achieve.

With the DWI arrest of Obama Oyango, President Obama’s uncle and an illegal alien, the fact that he was not only in possession of a valid drivers license but also a legitimate Social Security Number has shown light on how our government is working and for whom. The news reports do not say if he also had a Mass Health entitlement card.

But Mr. Oynango is a known illegal and has been on the "deport” list for a very long time. He got help but from whom? Why the government of course. Government welfare agencies are not required to ask about immigration status but it goes beyond that. These are not only today’s dependents but also the dependents of tomorrow. Independence is bad for business.

When you take this money please remember, it’s all you are ever going to have. You may think you’re getting away with something but you really aren't. You are now bought and paid for. This starts the downward cycle of dependency that taxpayers decry and government cultivates. It’s all fun and games in “other peoples moneyland” until the ever expanding government strangles the ever shrinking private citizens that fund this ‘Money-Go-Round”.

But that's not the only problem.

A check of the voting records shows that the President’s uncle had never voted but very well could have.

What’s to stop a person with a valid SS# and a drivers license from voting?

It is still reportedly unknown how Mr. O managed to get his SS# but I’ll save everyone the time. The government GAVE it to him when he asked. Or they TOLD him he would need the number when they GAVE it to him. Take your pick. Nothing lofty or sinister, he just walked up and got one. And he’s not alone. He CAN’T be alone. How many more are out there? Hundreds? Thousands?

Yes, it’s all out in the open. It is the Federal Government itself that is undermining the vote, giving out Social Security Numbers to the undocumented and providing above the board Amnesty for all. Although people of European extraction need not apply. I mean, are they doing this for Canadians?

But now that we know, what do we do?

The Failure of The War on Drugs

As it stands now, 20 + years after the start of the USA’s “War on Drugs” campaign, can we finally pronounce it a profound failure? Does anyone still believe this “War” has made any difference at all in keeping drugs and crime out of our society?

The availability of illegal drugs has not changed, quality has improved and prices have stayed constant for a decade and in the case of heroin, has actually gone down. Can anyone dispute the sustained availability of these drugs on the streets of the USA right now? No, I don’t smoke the stuff but I know where it can be found: Everywhere. We all know someone who can get some. Or just ask a student, ANY student.

What the War on Drugs has managed to produce is a large US prison population, well funded domestic gangland activity, a huge judicial industry that supports government judges, lawyers and large police forces and, of course, horrible and tortuous death. Over 9,000 people have died in Mexico’s two-year-old Drug War alone. That’s just on the Mexican side of the border while our own inner cities have become killing zones as well though much less reported. It's a joke.

This underground drug money sponsors the drug cartels of South America and the Taliban in the Middle East and anti-gov’t activities worldwide. It has been widely reported that 90 percent of the world’s heroin comes from the mountains of Afghanistan. (We’re not hearing any stories of Coalition troops burning those poppy fields are we?) All fueled by this Prohibition.

It’s time for a shift in attitudes and tactics. Resources must shift from enforcement to education and TREATMENT. Treat the stuff like we treat booze since THAT 13 year failure stands as a prime example. Addicts have very few resources available to them. They can go rob a bank/corner store/ someone’s house or car for a quick fix since we’ll happily send them to jail at a cost of $24,000.00 per year but hell; we won’t treat your dependency since that would cost too much!

Drug prohibition has been a colossal failure. We have to allow economics to achieve what our enforcement personnel cannot and that is to eliminate their access to illicit money gained from the sale of illegal drugs used to sustain their forces. This will put these organizations under pressure for alternate means of funding, more traceable and above board means of funding. They may even have to get jobs! The original purpose of the War on Drugs was to do just this but it can’t and it will never succeed even if we throw 3x the money at the problem. Supply and Demand is a market force that cannot be stopped by Prohibition.

The body count continues to climb among the competing underground factions that attempt to manufacture, grow and sell illegal drugs. Why? Because it’s ILLEGAL! And because drugs are illegal, the underground economy controls the money and distribution.

We all endeavor to educate our kids to take pride in themselves and what they can achieve and about the dangers of drugs, booze, driving while drunk and gambling. We do this because these are the major dangers of living free in the United States TODAY. This will not change. The “War on Drugs” has become an industry unto itself. It employs thousands of people. Who cares that it doesn’t work?

I do. We need to change the way we look at this problem. The sooner we face the reality of the situation, the sooner we can fix it.
