Why the GOP Wants Roy Moore Out of Senate Race

It's tough being a supporter of President Donald Trump. Especially if you are also running for office. It's a given that the Democrats will hate you.

And the Grand Old Party of the Republican State hates you too.

This is why the GOP establishment "believes" all of the Roy Moore accusers. Doesn't matter if there's proof, they are just going to believe whatever is said since any excuse will serve them asking for Roy Moore to step out of the race for the Senate in Alabama. The LAST thing they want is another Trump Republican holding a Senate seat.

Roy Moore is on record of going after both Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan, people who have been throwing their weight against President Trump's campaign initiatives to end the Affordable Care Act and to overhaul the tax code. It is these hypocrites along with the crazy dead man walking, John McCain, who are the Never Trumpers. Roy Moore has also lead the public cheers that those two pathetic RINOs from Arizona and Tennessee will not run for re-election, namely Republocrat Senators Jeff Flake and Bob Corker.

The prevailing GOP establishment view of Roy Moore mirrors that of Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign; they would rather see a Democrat they can "work" with win than a Republican who they can't.

This is the real reason the GOP is, for the only time in recent memory, in lock-step agreement over Mr. Moore stepping out of the Senate race. The GOP can't seem to get together on anything else while Donald Trump is president but THIS is the Great Cause they have united for. You're not even allowed to defend him or risk a boycott like that knuckle-head Sean Hannity. And it all has happened within 7 days. The rush to judgement is no accident. This was an orchestrated maneuver.

Even old Wishy-Washy former Massachusetts Governor and FAILED presidential candidate Mitt Romney has crawled out his bank vault wearing pointy-toed boots to kick Roy Moore while he's down. He too "believes" the stories as if anybody even remembers who Mitt is or takes anything he says as anything other than Sour Grapes.

Do Ryan, Romney and McConnell care if Roy Moore did any of what was said he did? Hell no, but it has provided an opportunity to try to knock off the real opposition they face: Real conservatives with principles.

The Democrat Modus Operandi

We haven't seen this sexual harassment ploy in politics since 1991 when Ted Kennedy engineered the first "High Tech Lynching" of Justice Clarence Thomas. At Thomas' Senate confirmation hearing the Democrats suddenly put up a former Thomas aid, Anita Hill, to claim that Judge Thomas has sexually harassed her over years of working together. This almost derailed one of the most consistent and unbiased justices to ever sit on the Supreme Court. Good thing Ms. Hill was exposed under questioning as the liar she was in time.

The secondary tactic of "Victim Pile-on" where more and more people, after "years of silence" now come forward with only verbal accusations and no proof and having seemingly never said a thing to anyone ever over the years about what they say had happened. But the shear weight of the numbers of "victim" accusations leads people to believe that "they can't all be lying!" So it all must be true.

But actually, they CAN all be lying.

For this tactic to work, all the players have to be in on it. When the plan is well executed, like with Bill Cosby, it's hard for the man to defend himself.

Which brings up a big puzzle for me with Bill Cosby. Am I expected to believe that these 60+ women all went over to Mr. Cosby's place alone, were all drugged and had against their will in the America of the 1960s where all a black man had to do was J-walk or use the wrong toilet to get arrested, and nobody every reported him and he was never arrested? Or was he really too famous for the cops to go after in those racially charged days of segregation riots, accusations of "uppity" black men and women who were still referred to publicly as "negros"?

And will anyone remember Mr. Cosby was acquitted at trial?

But that's the game that's going on right now. Last minute allegations set against the backdrop of a national sexual harassment witch hunt where only accusations are valid and proof of purchase not required. A situation where the press will pillory anybody who's name is thrown out into the public domain and where plenty of women without fame of whose star has faded are thinking hard of what name they can throw out there next.

Ad to the mix these very real sicko Hollywood predators and nobody is going to know who is or who isn't the guilty party.

So it stands to reason that the Democrats, desperate for a Senate win, having failed in 8 special elections, are going to pick up on this atmosphere and run with it. Their friends in the press are all too willing to help and their friends in the GOP are all too willing to help also.

Finally, the Democrats and GOP can't working together.

Our Socialist Government

Our future and that of most of the next generation will be defined by how much economy government thinks we should have. Our Socialist government and their Medical and Social Welfare pyramid schemes will always require them to keep kicking bricks under it to keep it from toppling. “Oh, we can’t afford that!” They say without irony since the whole thing is their fault and now that it is so “ingrained” into the American people that too many people will be hurt.  This is the kind of talk they use to justify doing nothing. In their mind it’s easier to wait for it all to come tumbling down than to go on record as voting to stop it.

What a sham it all is but what can we do? Vote for the other party? They’re Socialists too!
Let us all face the shear fact of the matter; this is never going to get any better than it is right now. That means no tax cuts are coming and the government will make attempts to “fix” ObamaCare which we all know is not possible. You can’t give services away for free and expect others who are paying to keep paying.  As we have already seen, the payers will also stop paying since they can’t afford the service either and they have insurance.

We have the greatest healthcare technology in the world but the hospitals won’t treat you with them because it’s too expensive. You can’t afford to have them use it on you. So you stop going. Where’s the advantage of that? On the other hand, they can’t afford to have you die either since you’re the one paying taxes. What to do?

But the bottom line is that you should just get used to living the way you’re living because your quality of life isn’t going to improve anytime soon if it’s up to our socialist government. The GOP and the Democrats all fly the same private planes, go to the same champagne parties and have the very best of everything including healthcare. And you have…much less than that.

And without putting more money in your pocket, things are going to stay this way. Hope you voted for it ‘cause here it is. Our president isn’t going to be allowed to have one single victory in the 4 years he hill be in office not because of the Democrats but because of their very best friends in the Republican Party who don’t want you to have a tax cut over affordable healthcare either as long as Donald Trump is in the White House. It’s the principle of the thing.

It’s all downhill from here. The GOP is exposed as the Colossal Frauds that we always suspected they were but hoped against all hope that they weren’t. Well, at least our suspicions have been confirmed although it is no comfort at all in the knowing.

So plan accordingly. Avoid going into debt and spend less on everything since you’ll be needing that money to go to the doctor and to pay your taxes.

And we talk about North Korea being a Dictatorship.

Trump Attacks the Freedom Caucus

During the 2016 Presidential campaign I was repeatedly asked by my disbelieving friends about my unwavering support for Donald Trump, a man whom I had gone to see speak in person on two occasions and for whom I voted in the general election. They would repeatedly inquire:

“Is there anything that Mr. Trump can do to make you not support him?"

“Nope, none that I can think of.”

“Is there anything he could say that would put you off?"

“Nope”, I would blithely state with true conviction.

“Is there any action he could take that could possibly make you waver?” They would ask.

“Not a chance!” I emphatically state.

So now what happens?

“Hey Wal Man, Donald Trump just said that he is going after the Freedom Caucus!”

“He WHAT!?”

Yeah, that would do it. Donald Trump just put the Republicans in the Freedom Caucus on the same political level as the Democratic Party. Can you beat that?

Saved from American Healthcare Act

If it wasn’t for the Freedom Caucus, a group of 32 fiscally and morally conservative Republican lawmakers from across the nation, the United States citizenry would have had to deal with yet another failed piece of legislation: The American Healthcare Act that President Trump and his new establishment GOP ally Speaker of the House Paul Ryan had tried to dress up and call “Fillet Mignon”. But the American people, the Freedom Caucus membership AND other Republican legislators knew it was the same old “Government Cheese”.

It was the Freedom Caucus that had actually saved Trump from looking bad by not allowing them to pass that Turd.

But this is obviously not how the President is looking at the situation.

So Where’s the Art of the Deal?

So instead of listening to the Freedom Caucus’ concerns or recognizing their input and that of other Tea Party Republican’s like Libertarian Rand Paul, Mr. Trump and Mr. Ryan take a stand-offish pose and do a “My Way or the Highway” ultimatum. And it backfired.

So what’s the new plan? There isn’t a new plan. Mr.’s Trump and Ryan are going to bring the old failed plan back and instead of negotiating new legislation, they’d rather threaten the people who opposed it instead. Good idea.

Trumps New Allies…the Democrats?

So now President Trump is proposing to reach across the aisle to the Democrats to craft Healthcare Legislation rather than work with members of his own party.

This can't be happening.

Trump Finds Strange Bedfellow

Donald Trump has taken a step toward the GOP establishment with his decision to side with Paul Ryan. It does not look to be a winning combination and I’d be surprised if it is a lasting relationship. Mr. Ryan ran for the house Speakership with the majority consent of the Freedom Caucus. Can he win friends by now opposing them? Not bloody likely.

Election 2018

Is the President really going to campaign against his own party come 2018? While some of the Freedom Caucus could be vulnerable, I don’t think a majority of them are going anywhere. Especially if their constituency feels they are under fire from a president, quite frankly, many of them weren’t too thrilled about in the first place. They didn’t all love Mr. Trump, they just hated Hillary Clinton more.

Much, much more.

Can you see Donald Trump perhaps flying into Texas to oppose Randy Weber, who now holds the retired and much admired Ron Paul's seat? How’s that for optics.

Conclusion

Hopefully this gets walked back sooner than later and that Mr. Trump decides to incorporate more “Freedom” into the American Healthcare Act if it’s going to be brought back up for a vote. I’d rather see no legislation at all and have American healthcare become a market force rather than have it remain a government force. The state of healthcare is as it is because of government interference in the marketplace and nobody should have any illusions about this after the last 8 years of rising costs, shortages and hardships for those who pay and freebie give-a-ways for those who don’t.

If the President and his Republican majority are going to accomplish anything, they had better start bringing everyone to the table rather than thinking they can just punch any bit of legislation through Congress. The Freedom Caucus has the support of a great many American voters and many Conservative and Tea Party Republicans look to them in the hopes that they will continue to have their views represented and have a voice in our government. It is THEY who got Mr. Trump elected.

For Donald Trump to call them out after the legislative blunder he almost committed is, in what should best be described in his own words: “Huge Mistake.”

Huge.

Milquetoast Ryan Abandons Party Conservatives

I guess Mr. Ryan, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, thinks this presidential election is all about himself. Perhaps he thinks himself alone in his feelings. Or perhaps he is just favors someone else entirely.

So today Paul Ryan is appalled. Yes that's right, he's appalled by what he has heard. He just can't believe his ears! He was most upset and saddened by the news that...

Donald Trump apparently likes Pussy.

Ultimately, Mr. Ryan didn't take this news well and now he has announced, to the glee of the Political Left, that he just can't bring himself to support Donald Trump, his party's Presidential Nominee and will now only focus on not letting Hillary Clinton take the Presidential Throne with a Democratic Congressional Majority.

As if she'll even need one at that point.

Paul Ryan, in exercising his self-elected brand of voter nullification, has forgotten the stakes of this election. He has overlooked or perhaps he just can't see from his high perch that the economy is turning to shit. That good full-time jobs are dwindling, that the Affordable Healthcare Act is un-affordable, that millions of people are receiving food stamps and that many American workers are living pay-check to pay-check.

Perhaps he has not pondered the Supreme Judicial Court nominee waiting to be confirmed.

Or perhaps he has a plan of his own.

If Trump should lose this election, Mr. Ryan is going to lose the majority speaker-ship within two years anyway. It won't matter a hill of beans what he does after this. The Republican party deserves to lose the majority in the House. They have done nothing to hold onto it. They've abandoned their candidate and they have abandoned their electorate. What more can they do to undermine their cause?

Actually to say they have abandoned Donald Trump is to imply that they had ever given him anything but grudging acknowledgement as the Republican Nominee.

But Donald Trump is where he is because most people voted for him. This is why we hold elections. They didn't vote for smarmy Ted, the landed and entitled Mr. Bush, the decidedly un-dynamic Mr. Walker or that idiot Kasich ,

Trump didn't buy his way to the nomination, he was endorsed by a large group of people who represent the most conservative section of the Republican Party. Even though a majority of them are registered as Independent, they vote Republican. And for decades they have waited for a real conservative candidate.

Only to now be told that Conservatism is no longer allowed in the Republican Party.

In this election cycle, Donald Trump has electrified the Conservative Voter. Across the nation more people have voted in the primaries than they did the last two election cycles. He has gotten out the vote and he will continue to get out the vote. Whether he wins or not is a big unknown at this point but Mr. Trump has mounted an unprecedented campaign.

A campaign against not only the Liberal Democratic Party but also against the Liberal Republican Party.

But a lot of hard working people, people who pay their taxes and aspire to do the right thing, are pulling for Donald Trump. They feel, rightly, that many of the ideals they believe in are what he believes in also. Ideals that they see, more and more, the Republican Party abandoning. They want somebody to stand up to the special interests and big government that does not take their opinions and their rights in regard. They feel they have lost their voice in government.

And Paul Ryan has confirmed that they have.

Anti-Trump Media Cries Grow Shrill

Each morning my clock radio greets me with anti-Trump messages. The morning wags on the local stations repeat ad nauseam: Trump will be Genghis Khan. Trump will be Charlie Sheen. Trump will be Leona Helmsley!

He can’t win. He’s not presidential. He’s coarse. He’s hateful…blah blah blah.

It’s all water off a duck's back to me and to the other people who already know who they're voting for.

Nobody cares. Nobody is listening and these radio idiots will all pay for their behavior after the general election. Of course, these value-less touts will have changed their tune before then when they see the writing on the wall. They are noting but mere just prostitutes with high paying media jobs doing the bidding of their media masters because they already know what we know; that they have no talent and the only reason they have their jobs in the first place is because they are connected. They have kissed the pinky ring of the government media moguls and their fealty is required. And I can beat Anderson Cooper at anything he thinks he's good at. In fact, line 'em all up and I'll knock them down. They aught to be ashamed but then again they have no shame. That's why they have the jobs they have.

Of course, all this bluster is coming out of fear. They fear a man they can’t buy. The government fears a man they can’t influence. Donald Trump is not “one of the gang”. He is not part of the establishment that has Ruled the United States for the last, oh, 46 years or so even though they have failure written all over their residency in the Halls of Power. Trump will have capable people around him, not donor hacks and the GOP/Media complex has failed in it's attempt to get rid of Corey Lewandowski with their bullshit assault setup. What a hoax!

It’s all so tiresome the endless tirade of morning, noon and night media going on and on. It’ becomes one long sad song even from the so called Conservative stations like FOX and our local Boston station WRKO. The morning people there, I don’t even remember their names they are so awful to listen to They just recite their lines about Trump every Goddamned day. I tune in for the first anti-Trump word and turn it off just to be sure they’re still at their game of charades. Give it up already.

But they can’t because these autobots are just doing what they are told.

It’s a shame I think because at one time I’m sure these people wanted to make a difference in their radio careers but now all they can get are these crumby government propaganda jobs and so are just following orders to keep their big money paychecks coming. How they can look at themselves in a mirror each morning boggles the mind.

The glee that imbues the writing when the online media reports the prospects of a brokered convention is even more annoying. Even the New York Post, a newspaper I love and adore and which I consider one of the last bastions of good reporting left in the country, is divided in their reports about The Donald.

But that is because Donald Trump is a polarizing figure no doubt. I have gone to see him speak and he's the real deal. Flawed yes, but culpable and accountable. He is a candidate who bleeds. You either believe in him or you don't. But who else is there to believe in?

So if not Donald Trump then who could it be? John Kasich? Have you listened to this guy speak about well, anything? I have and this guy is on the moon! Anyone who wants this guy in the driver’s seat when the country is facing the serious financial, security and diplomatic problems we have today is not thinking about the well being of the United States. They are only thinking about stopping Donald Trump above the welfare of the nation. Oh yeah, and nobody outside of Ohio has voted for the guy. When I think of Kasich as a candidate I think of the term "Grasping at Straws" which is what the government media is doing when they mention his name as the Republican nominee without laughing out loud into the microphone.

And there is the smarmy and overtly religious Ted Cruz. He of the faux outrage and righteous indignation at having to play second fiddle to Mr. Trump when the nation should be rallying around HIM. The key to a Cruz victory is Sincerity. If he can just fake that better, he's in.

Still, the national media and their crony controllers don't want him either. They’ll take a cardboard cutout before they’ll ever want Ted Cruz to replace Donald Trump as the Republican nominee. No, the powers that be want BOTH Cruz and Trump GONE. That's why they’d take Kasich in a minute even though I believe the guy is hearing voices for Christ’s sake.

So as it stands, the GOP would rather hand the election to Hillary Clinton even though when the Shit does eventually hit the Fan, which it WILL sooner or later given our financial balancing act, she will be less than useless with her “we have to work together to beat this” rhetoric. I’m sure the nation will be reassured often while we are all standing in the bread line.

But there is a good chance that she will not get to the general election. Hillary has been out hustled by a driver on her Left shoulder when she was looking to the Right. Bernie Sanders is only a Convention Intervention away from knocking her off too.

The funny thing about this whole subversion of the electoral process is that both Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders are in the same boat as Donald Trump. They are also “Personas non-grate” when it comes to being their party’s nominee yet they are willing to go along with the whole anti-Trump campaign with the FAT CHANCE that they will gain acceptance by doing so. This shows them as hypocrites AT BEST. They don’t know that their best chance at acceptance by the American People (remember them, the voters?) is to defend the process for everybody involved. To look the other way while a fellow candidate, rival or not, is torpedoed by the GOP Political Establishment that only cares to hold onto power while the country goes to Hell means that they would gladly be part of the problem rather than a bold and independent force for a solution. That’s just peachy isn’t it? Go 'head, vote for those guys.

The reality is that neither the Donald Trump supporters or the Bernie Sanders supporters are going to vote for “Brand X” in the general election. That’s a fact. And don’t think the mid-term elections are going to work out for established candidates either if these popular and viable candidates are derailed over some kind of procedural skulduggery. You can bet on it.

It would be best for all involved to preserve the integrity of the American System of Government and it's electoral process regardless of the outcome. That's why we hold a VOTE. So you GOP establishment types can just go collect your substantial pensions, paid for by the American Taxpayer btw and get the hell out of the way. We need fresh ideas right now and the YOU GUYS haven't had any for quite awhile now.

But if these nefarious powers should succeed, I guess the United States should change its motto: “The United States: Where anyone can grow up to be President” to “The United States: Where SOME people can grow up to be President.”

Others aren’t allowed.

Nikki Haley and Barak Obama Agree: Get Trump!

“The enemy of my enemy is my friend” so says the establishment spokesperson for the Republican Party rebuttal to president Barak Obama’s all too predictable illusionary State of the Disunion address ritual.

Birds of the feather they are, united against the biggest threat to their hold on power in these United States. They march lockstep in their distain in and the belief that Donald Trump is a threat. To them!

Is this not proof positive that today's Republican Party is for the most part indistinguishable from today's Democratic Party? Are they not two sides of the same coin, together planning you future to the major benefit of themselves?
And where do you fit in with their schemes?

That’s right, you DON’T!
And Nikki Haley is their poster child. Her words, self-penned and approved by the GOP Speaker of the House of Representatives Paul Ryan and GOP Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, underscore the fears of every working American taxpayer: The Republican establishment is not looking out for THEM.

If they were then why on God’s Green Earth would the Republican Party attack the Republican front runner in the upcoming 2016 presidential race?
It’s because the Demlicans and the Republocrats are on the same team, not your team.

It made me laugh out loud this afternoon when, as I was driving with the radio on, I heard some Rubio spokesperson state that it’s not Donald Trump but MARCO RUBIO who is the MOST FEARED candidate in the presidential race by the Democrats.
Oh REALLY?  Nobody must have realized that both the president and Ms. Haley were actually referring to Mr. Rubio when they made their thinly veiled attacks on the person they perceived as the biggest threat to the peace of the nation. Even the government press missed it.
Marco Rubio is the hand-picked successor by the establishment GOP to the failed Jeb Bush. They are both embarrassments to the American taxpayer and should be ashamed to stand there and claim that it is THEY that have the best interests of the people in mind. As if flooding the nation with uneducated Visigoths is in the nation's best interest.

To bring more clarity to the collaboration of our President and Ms. Haley on their shared interests, I must point out that it seems the big crushing concern of both right now is the anger of the American people!
Just what do Donald Trump and the people who will vote for him have to be angry about? Is it really just “Tribalism” as President Obama, who has apparently grown tired of just saying “Racism” and has found another word for it, has alleged?

Why should people be angry as the flood of undocumented, unvaccinated, uneducated, unwashed and uncaring human multitudes inundate our nation? This effluent of our inept and corrupt neighboring nations should be embraced! We should be giving them shelter and free healthcare and stop complaining about the crime, disease, competition for entry level jobs and the cost of their general welfare for this, as the president says, is NOT “Who We Are”! Your anger, we are repeatedly told, is just misplaced racism!
Of course if President Obama knew ANYTHING about who we are, he wouldn’t have done any of the crappy things he has done in the first place.

Like forcing people to buy a government run healthcare plan they didn't want and didn't need.
Or by over regulating small business to the point they can’t afford to stay in business thus killing jobs.

Or nationalizing the student loan program and creating over $1 Trillion dollars in debt for people under the age of 21 on top of their portion of the national debt that they will inherit.
Or taxing the American Middle Class to the point of robbery via taxation to merely “hand a fish” to the so called "Downtrodden" just to buy their vote which frankly does neither group any good and weakens the nation's economy overall.

And here we are.

The Republocrat and Demlican establishments have spent too much money, printed too much debt, broken too many laws, disincentivised work, started and sustained too many wars and have squashed too many who have tried to stop them.
Can the nation afford to keep going down this path?

Trump 2016!

Obama Presidency Is A STINKBURGER.

Or how about we call it a “Failwich”.

At any rate, anyway you try to market it, Barak Obama’s presidency has ended in failure.
Yes I know he’s still got TWO YEARS left in office but we all know where this is heading. Anyone with eyes sees the socialist policies and the communist economic control that, rather than causing the economy to rise, is actually ringing in America‘s first Japanese style LOST DECADE.

Obama's presidency is not going to end well.

We have recent college graduates scrounging for bank teller positions and holding two part-time jobs while their hefty college loan bills come due. We have 20-somethings living at home with their parents when they should be out on their own learning how to make new social contacts and working towards a career. We see automobiles out of reach of the average American teen when once you could throw down $500.00 for the car and $200.00 for the insurance. Now its the insurance and the gas they can't afford never mind the car. It all spells "No Future" for America's young under 30s.

Here we are seven years after the economic meltdown of 2007 and six years after the rise of President Obama’s regime, the country is not rolling along. It’s not really even shuffling along. It’s just shiftlessly slipping into decline. Less opportunity, more debt. Less growth, more debt. Less accountability and clarity of purpose, more debt.
Everything has gone up. You’re income taxes, your property taxes, your healthcare premiums and the gasoline you put in your car AND your car insurance. If you weren’t part of the 9 million people who initially lost your job, a job that wasn’t and hasn’t come back, you are worried that you will lose the job you have. I know I am.

While promoting his wrong-headed Minimum Wage hike in Michigan, a state that can really NOT afford the consequences of such a move btw, President Obama attacks Paul Ryan’s budget proposal without a hint of irony considering Mr. Obama has only submitted one budget on time and every one without fail contains tax hikes, increased borrowing and more public sector spending. I'm sure the Obama administration struggled to come up with such a well thought-out budget plan. But as the Say Anything president, president Obama will say anything.
“Well, if we raise the minimum wage, people will have more money to spend. This will put more money in the economy. " Says Mr. Obama. "How's that not going to help people?"

Now I don’t believe for a moment that President Obama actually believes this to be true because it’s foolish to believe that just because the government passes a law to pay people more money that businesses, especially the small businesses that have been hit hardest over the last seven years, are just going to pay it.
What becomes clear is that the President is obviously an adherent of a great American, an entrepreneurial man, a businessman, a man with hustle and who started a great circus when circuses used to cross this vast continent entertaining people in small towns and big cities. That man’s name was PT Barnum and although he died back in 1891, he would be right at home in the Obama administration. He coined the phrase that BH Obama lives by today and it goes like this:

“There’s a sucker born every minute.”

American small business is on the ropes in this country and one can only look at the empty storefronts everywhere you may go here in the formerly industrialized Northeast. Granted that the foundation they staked their fortunes on was made of Government Sand as a direct result of the partnership of the Federal Bank, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the big banks that facilitated the housing-based economic bubble, they still put their money down for their chance at independent living. The ones who have held on until now are only find higher taxes, higher healthcare premiums and a forced minimum wage as their reward.
But only a fool will think that they’re just going to pay the higher wage. The more likely scenario would be that the small business owner will lay off that worker and put in more hours themselves. If you’re working on a thin margin, anything at all can cause you to stumble. And plenty have and more are joining them every day.

No, no, nothing Mr. Obama has done will last. It can’t. Not his domestic policy missteps, not his foreign policy disasters, too numerous and obvious to discuss any further unless he can find a country we haven’t yet heard of to ruin to go along with the rest. Not his blustering about “mean” Republicans and not his incredulous, straight-face diatribes on how he can’t see how cutting federal spending will help the economy.
Everything will eventually be swept aside either by voter might or utter economic failure.
It would be far more encouraging for the future of our nation if Mr. Obama’s final rebuke would be from voter might.

And hopefully we will see another one of PT Barnum’s quotes ring true: “The public is wiser than many imagine.”
Hope so.

Presidential Choices Now Clearly Drawn

Now that Mitt Romney has chosen budget hawk Paul Ryan as his vice president and the ideological divide never broader in the history of our nation.
Do you vote for fiscal responsibility or fiscal disaster?

The United States is going to have an economic crash. I’ve got 7 to 13 Billion reasons to think it so. The choice is who you want in the presidency when that happens. Do you want the people who know and believe a collapse is going to happen and have a plan to avert or fix it or the people who are just going to keep the money spigot on until the economy goes over the cliff?
The funny thing is that people who are on the dole and are receiving government benefits will probably be voting for the wrong guy. It’s Romney who actually wants to save Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. I personally won’t mind seeing these government transfer schemes collapse and burn.

I find myself on the fence.
Another 4 years of the Obama administration and the collapse of the government entitlement system is assured. There won’t be enough money to pay for even a bit of it and although they will try, there won’t be enough money left in the private economy to take. End of system.

With Paul Ryan’s budget plan and Mitt Romney’s quoted resolve to keep the status quo on these money sucking programs, it is probably a good bet that even when the economy crashes they will attempt to “save” them although cuts will be in order.
The thing I’m concerned about come the fiscal collapse is that if ObamaCare is left in place, the resulting shortages in medicine, doctors and equipment will create a greater hardship than if Romney actually tried to keep the pyramid up so to speak. Anyone who has tried to make even a routine doctor’s appointment knows what I mean. Even people on the left side of the fence do not believe for a moment that this will improve. Other than that, let it all burn.

But this is a dilemma for the American people to decide. Because of the irrational behavior of our present group of politicians on both sides of the aisle, one side allowing vast groups of illiterate Goths into the country to become a government dependent voting class a la Hugo Chavez or the other side that supplies a slightly better educated voting group with perpetual War and Drug Prohibition to keep the military, judicial and correctional jobs flowing.
It is a good thing that Romney went with the money guy instead of the military guy for V.P. since the last thing we need in the Whitehouse right now is another military mind since the last 58 years of warfare has only served to sour me on its effectiveness as an economic engine.

The lines are drawn so let the contest begin. No accusation will be too outlandish; no act will be too bizarre. Down will be up and up will be down. It will be raining hotdogs and hamburgers with one syndicate trying to wrest power from another syndicate trying desperately to hold onto it.
You won’t be able to believe anything you hear and none of what you read. You may even doubt your eyes. Elvis, Bruce Lee and Amelia Erhart  will come back and Jesus will stop by for tea with your dead grandmother.

Nothing will be clear and everybody will be out in the street to declare "What about me?".

Please try to hold onto your humanity.
