Christie Talks Out His Ass at Jewish Fundraiser

The heavy-set man who would be president, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was heard spouting the same old tired and meaningless platitudes to a group of reportedly "deep-pocketed" Jewish donors or as they call them in New Jersey, “Marks” about how “American Must Lead” and how the United States should have “A more aggressive foreign policy” which I take to mean “more warfare!”

To quote the governor:  “The rest of the world watches and hopes that America will take care of their competition and do their dirty work for them instead of they themselves actually taking responsibility and sitting down to negotiating an equitable solution. On this kind of bully Imperialism America must lead!”

What does any of this mean?

Mr. Christie is out advertising the fact that he and the United States military can be bought for CHEAP and he isn't even in charge. On his president aspirations, Governor Christie remains on the fence about whether he’ll actually run for president. He reportedly said: “"I'm being governor for the next nine months. To be real honest with you I don't know what I'm gonna do after that."

The standout word there is “honestly”. He “honestly” doesn't know what he’s going to do ladies and gentlemen of the Jewish donors fundraiser he was speaking at. You know, I believe him.

Christie also called for the United States to be a “Moral Leader” in the world and to promote “American Values”. And just what are these American Values these days? Perhaps he will champion the American Ideals that the Jews and Muslims sit down together and negotiate "like good Christians". That'll help.

Short of specifics and long on buzz-words Mr. Christie's speech writers undoubtedly killed themselves to include, the governors “speech” was just a lot of hot air and undeliverable platitudes. AS IF the American people are going to go for more of the same war mongering just because a Republican MIGHT gain the Whitehouse. I don’t think so.

But where is the truth to this guy? Where is the sincerity? He can't even fake that. Spouting “Republican Values” means NOTHING these days and that Christie is courting the established Republican Party rather than the grass roots Tea Party, who will never go away as long as they are getting continuously robbed by the government, only proves that he, again, has chosen poorly.

Mr. Christie is still fishing for clues to his viability as a presidential candidate. If he "Polls” right, he’ll jump into the ring. If not, he’ll run for governor again. It is this timidity and the fear of losing his other “job” that really sinks this guy for me. He’s as wishy-washy as Mitt Romney but without the overall likability.

So while Christie is “standing long and hard for those things that we believe in” whatever the hell that means, he will dance for the coins these Jewish donors may throw at him. Is this any way to run a presidential campaign? Is Jeb Bush really that much of a threat?

There has been talk that what would have been money in Christie’s pocket will be going to Jeb Bush but Mr. Bush, or Bush the Turd, I mean Third, will just be the candidate to stay home for on election day.

If there is any more evidence that the American people need about the rise of the Corporate State and a victory for the National Chamber of Commerce, it would be Jeb Bush becoming President of the United States. That would surely trumpet that the fix is in and that no matter what anybody does, the big corporations run the country. They already do but at least then we would all KNOW it.

So dance, Mr. Christie, dance.

Campaign 2016: What About The Debt?

Now that not only the November mid-term elections are coming into view but also, since it’s never too soon to start a presidential campaign, we see the new wave of presidential prospects and their congressional cheerleaders coming out to tempt us with a new bag of give-a-ways for the masses.

We are hearing about the future of the United States is amnesty for the Illegal line jumpers in our nation. We hear the scourge of income inequality among the people who hold jobs that don’t pay that much money, how important it is that low wage workers have a higher minimum wage and the inequality of women in the workplace.  These are the important burning issues facing our nation.
The government media is beginning to float it’s published “surveys” of how other nations distribute the wealth much better than we do here in the United States and THAT is why we have income inequality and poor people setting the stage for more wealth confiscation if they should manage to convince enough “have not’s” to make it to the polls and gain victory. Like not enough Socialism is the problem in this country.
But the question I have  that I’m not hearing about from ANY candidate right now is:
What about the Debt?
What about the $17,346,149,770,556.00 and growing national debt?  Yes, I mean the $55,191.00 per citizen, $151,616.00 per legal citizen NATIONAL DEBT?
And this is on top of the $ Trillion plus college loan debt, personal credit card debt, paying for over a decade of costly wars and massive Federal and State government pension liabilities.
I don’t hear anyone talking about THAT! Does anybody have a plan to handle this issue? If they do I’d love to hear it.
Some people seem to think the government will just resort to the previously mentioned wealth confiscation and distribution.
It does sound absurd but where is this money going to come from? Taxes keep rising but government spending is outpacing the money coming in so even though they’re taking more, they’re spending more but eventually less will come in.
It’s real easy to talk about immigration and phony baloney things like “climate change”, income “inequality” and the minimum wage, all Leftist catch phrases mostly because who really believes that government can legislate the weather or create more private sector jobs?
But government can spend less.
We will see that this springs home sales will be flat. Business is flat. Many store fronts across the country remain empty signaling that small business, the real mainstay of the economy, has not come back. Unemployment, well we don’t really know anything about what the numbers really are there since there is no truth in the reported numbers but unemployment remains high. And it’s all because government is taking more and more wealth out of the economy and its hurting consumption. You cannot consume if you don’t have the funds to consume with.
The country is short on the optimism it takes to put the house on the market or jump from a secure job to a new position elsewhere. We are lacking in the "good times" feeling that would produce robust spending. Many people are sitting on their bank accounts even though they are getting less than 1% interest because they are concerned about what the future holds. Where did all this come from?
For the people who truly think that government spending drives the economy just think for a moment that the people who handle the money, the government middlemen, also draw a salary. They have pensions and they have paid vacations and healthcare. That is called OVERHEAD. They cost money too. So if the government handles the money instead of you, the people they transfer it to get much less than what went in. $10 Million can go in but $10 Million doesn’t go out. Sorta like the Jimmy Fund and these other “charities” that aren’t really all that charitable.
So goes the government when it comes to the transfer of wealth. They take their piece and the “huddled masses yearning to get things for free” get the rest. The economy receives no net gain. There is no profit in taking other people’s money no matter how much they take.
It is a downward spiral. The more that is taken from the economy the less goes for growth. Without growth, there is less wealth. With less wealth, there is less to take in taxes.
When the Social System kills the goose that laid the golden egg, and it will happen without intervention, then everybody will suffer.
Many of us are just holding on until the end of the Obama administration to see if a new course will emerge to stem the slide into insolvency. The last thing anybody needs is another Communist who promises to solve problems that don't actually exist.
So next time you see a candidate any candidate from any party affiliation just ask:
What about the Debt?

Right Wing Media Stupid to Defend Gov Christie

Looks like New Jersey Governor Chris Christie just found out he’s really a Republican after all.

With the barrage of investigations, denouncements and pronouncements of being a bully, of being politically vindictive and a liar all from the very Democratic associates he’s been trying to cultivate since his second term, Governor Christie’s feelings of betrayal must go beyond the beratement and firing of a trusted aide.

No, the Governor has discovered, Democrats do not have Republican friends. It’s just not the way they play the game.

But the most embarrassing part of this “sudden” revelation that Christie is a bully with a long memory for me is that the Right Wing Radio wags have swung into full spin mode without knowing or caring about the facts in the exact same fashion the Liberal media does on a daily basis. And it looks and sounds bad.

What is the difference then if the Political Right blindly defends a "Conservative" and the Political Left blindly defending one of their own who holds the office of the Presidency?

The glad talking of the economy and the economic situation in the U.S. by the Leftist Media is supremely embarrassing to listen to and hard to ignore. There just aren't any bad economic numbers anymore only "less than robust". The jobless are merely shuffled off onto the American version of The Dole and the homeless have inexplicably disappeared only to return if a conservative should ever again gain the White House.

It's a real shame since I'm sure when these handsomely paid media automatons were studying their craft in college they must have dreamed of one day finding acclaim with groundbreaking investigative journalism and biting commentary but the only work they can find are these crumby propaganda jobs. What a waste of a career.

So I find this role reversal to be wholly uncomfortable and disturbing. There is NO DIFFERENCE between Left and Right in the media. They seem to be playing the same game and that game is Fear.

But what really set me off on this track was the recited rationalization of "Well, it's not Bengazi"

Aarrg! Not the point. Sure, the attack on the U.S. embassy in Bengazi and the administration’s efforts to make it go away is a criminal blunder that not only offers insight into how alien foreign policy is to the Obama administration but also underscores the lack or responsibility they have to anyone who serves them. Anyone associated with these people must realize that they are a disposable commodity and that they are TOAST should they find themselves in a bad situation. This was perhaps Ambassador Stevens' big mistake. The poor sap actually thought he was there to do some good in that part of the world.

But to use this to defend Governor Christie's actions is basically admitting; "Yes, he’s a snake but he’s OUR snake." Perhaps the Political Right has just decided the high ground only leaves you exposed and that this no longer is a good strategy. The consequence of this attitude is that yet another snake makes his way to the Oval Office. Leave the brandings off, a snake is a snake.

Here is the GOOD NEWS. There is nothing better right now than having Chris Christie's presidential ambitions and the ambitions of his political machine DERAILED.

It is better for the believers in Limited Government in this country that this has come to pass (and let’s hope it sticks). And it is important for the present set of Republocrats that we are saddled with running Congress to realize that running a “Moderate” candidate against a Social-Democrat is the SAME THING and that the Left will always vote for the real, indoctrinated Leftist over anyone with an “R” by their name regardless of how much of a Socialist they really are.

And Christie is no better than a Democrat. He just happens to be a Democrat that is still concerned with New Jersey’s bottom line. But he has no qualms about sucking up for Federal Funds however and that’s still OPM (Other People's Money).

No, this is a good thing for the Tea Party, those working people who would rather be playing in the yard with their kids than organizing political events. The faster the focus is off Chris Christie, the quicker the focus can be on a more Libertarian/Conservative candidate.

The country doesn’t need a "more of the same" guy like Christie. Others are waiting.
