Don't Bomb Iran!

At least not yet anyway.

It's pretty clear the Iranian totalitarian regime is looking to goad the U.S. into a first bloody strike.

Shooting down the drone was a brilliant move since there won't be any grieving families on the television. Nobody got hurt. Then, by muddying the waters over the location of the drone when it was shot down, there will be uncertainty over which party is telling the truth. Is this a case of the "Bully of the World", the United States, looking for an excuse to attack Iranian or is it a war-like Iran attempting to start an international military conflict by shooting down a U.S. drone in international airspace?

The world will ponder since both sides are keeping a straight face.

On the U.S. side, there are calls for reprisal but extreme caution should be observed if past experience will be given attention. If the U.S. should actually fire missiles into Iran or Iranian targets, you know the pictures coming back will be those of civilian casualties and the hurt looks of Iranian diplomats.

Even if we should hit nothing but sand.

It's a miracle of nature that the U.S. can't seem to hit anything but civilians in these Middle Eastern countries. We bomb a military installation and the pictures come back as women and children. In a past experience we bombed a toxic gas manufacturing facility in Iraq and, surprise, it was a children's formula processing plant! Amazing how, with the most advanced tracking systems in the world to date, we can barely hit a terrorist.

But subsequently, the pictures aren't going to look good if we don't wait for further escalation from the ancient brain-trust of the Mullahs.

And wait we should.

We could send them the bill for $ 130 million, the cost of the drone. Then we could threaten to seize Iranian assets if they don't remit the balance within 90 days. That would be the businessman's answer.

Besides, what's one lost drone to the Pentagon? It's a drop in the bucket in their massive secret budget which is most likely larger than 90% of the world's economies.

They'll just order another dozen.

War Mongers to the Front

I'm starting to see the roll a person like John Bolton plays in the Trump administration. With a guy like him always calling for the destruction of "Name-Your-Adversary", if I was sitting in Iran, I could never be sure if the President would be seriously listening to him or not. It would be hard to think he would but there he is chanting "kill, kill, kill" all the time. And President Trump is saying "I don't know how long I can hold this guy back." It makes one wonder if it's a tactic.

Would that it were but it's a deadly game both the U.S. and Iran are playing and it reminds me very much like what happened at Fort Sumter back in 1860 to bring the North and South to begin the American Civil War.

It was important to Abraham Lincoln for the South to fire the first shot in the war. You know, that's important in politics so he decides to just send an unarmed supply ship since North Carolina, having already seceded from the Union, had stopped suppling the fort which was on an island in the harbor. So the southern garrison on the shore, seeing the ship, launched an attack on Fort Sumter and the result was the "War of Southern Aggression" with just about every adult male alive at the time ending up dead.

Iran Becomes North Korea

We know the sanctions are killing the Iranian economy, for what it is, and if we want to pursue any kind of retaliation, the U.S. would do well to keep it economic. The Iran government is trying to find a way to break out of this blockade and save face while doing it. A tall task. So they are rattling away and causing, in reality, minor destruction.

Planting mines above the waterline of a ship tells me they didn't want to actually sink it. They wanted a good fire but again, nobody got killed. I don't think anybody even got hurt unless they fell off of a ladder or something. The ships are insured for this sort of thing. Even the Japanese are downplaying the whole affair since the ship was bound for Japan. So this sort of non-aggressive aggression is mostly designed to bring attention to Iran's 'plight". Not enough there to start a fight.

Plus, it was not an American ship so just leave it to the insurance company accountants.

What to Do

It's pretty obvious. With the pundits all describing Iran as playing a "Long Game", that should also be our strategy as well. The North Korean playbook as been to do just enough to make people nervous and Iran is making people nervous alright but that in itself does not constitute grounds for war. Also, just like North Korea, Iran has threatened destruction of the economic means of their neighbors should the United States intervene militarily. In the case of the Middle East, that's the oil fields.

So standing back and waiting to see just how far Iran is willing to go in this game of chicken will serve the United States interests. Meanwhile it's Iran's economic issues that will continue to work against them. They've squandered their meager GDP over the years on guns for the military and not butter for the people. And now it's come to bite them in the ass. Mullahs and Economics don't mix.

I don't see any other nations stepping up and offering any support for an armed solution to Iranian skullduggery so instead of putting on our "Defenders of the World" hats yet again, we should just wait until Iran does something to piss SOMEONE ELSE off.

Until a major country like France, Japan or Spain steps up and says "Something should be done" about Iran, we should just keep working on closing our southern boarder. It isn't like we've got nothing better to do.

So until Iran decides to definitively fire the first bloody shot at the United States, we should wait it out. But if they do decide to pull the trigger first...

That will spell the end for them.

Never Forget

They were so colossal that they didn't even seem real. When seen from New Jersey, they were striking for their shear size and how they stood alone above everything else in a city of tall buildings. They were just big and square blocks but they were beautiful.

Just like all the souls that perished when they were destroyed.

When I see those images today, I feel exactly the same today as the day it happened.

I want to kill them all.

And we did that first time in Afghanistan. We killed plenty in a wide variety of ways. Then more came and we killed them too. And then they made more and we've been killing them ever since. The targets become more elusive and we become more adept at finding them. It's an ongoing battle that has changed the United States from a freewheeling democracy interested in personal freedom and how far an individual can go in life, into an armed camp brimming with costly defenses and increasing the misery index of every American. Such is our modern world of constant surveillance, wide-spread tracking and endless regulations. We used to lament that there were cameras everywhere and now we look for them everywhere to give us a sense of safety. Good luck with that.

The Twin Towers were attacked because they were the symbol of American commerce, American achievement and the freedom or our marketplace. That they were in New York City was fitting because NYC represents everything the country has to offer. And for the most part you can walk to it.

So after the Towers were destroyed by Muslim Terrorists, what does that self-absorbed lame-brain New York Mayor Micheal Bloomberg do? He turns their replacement into a stupid design contest. And the building that went up, The "Freedom Tower" looks absurd at best. It's shit.

And it only took 11 years to put it up! That's a year longer than it took to complete both of the Twin Towers.

They should have gone to city hall, gotten the old plans out of the basement and put the towers back the way they were in the same amount of time to put up.

THAT would have shown the people around the world who hate the United States for being the United States exactly how futile their efforts to destroy us was. But it didn't happen.

They did destroy us.

Now we have representatives in the United States Congress like Ilhan Omar, the US House of Representative's Jew-hating official from Minnesota who, for the life of them, will not mention what happened on 9/11 and by whom it came about. They will not acknowledge that so many people died who had nothing to do with their killer's zealous self-righteousness Islamic judgment.

And when they exhibit their callousness and disgust with the country they represent what happens? Why they are surprised by the fact that few Americans agree with them! Then they openly lament that it is THEY who are the victim of a terrible religious hatred. The majority of the people who agree with Representative Omar are the racist bastards who live in the 5th district in Minnesota and who voted her into office.

And the rest of them live in Washington DC.

We shall never accept such judgment or cynicism from anybody. Not from the former crazed mayor of New York City Micheal Bloomberg, not from the racist and America hating Rep. Omar and not from the Political Left in this country who would rather see our cities and towns over-run with the world's great unwashed than to see our own hard working, tax paying people who are not THEM succeed.

For all it's faults, the United States is still the most giving and benevolent society on the face of the Earth.

But you won't hear that from Representative Ilhan Omar or her ilk.

Trump Ending Frivolous Wars

Can this even be happening?

Not since Richard Nixon has an American President actually managed to end an armed conflict that wasn't just won outright. Let's face it, this country no longer fights wars with winning them in mind. Not at all, we fight them to keep the military arms industry afloat.

The United States is the top seller of military arms in the world. We sell twice as much weaponry around the world as #2 Russia. For our weapons industry, PEACE is the enemy. Having peace break out anywhere in the world is bad for business. And because of the diligent efforts of past Presidents and war industry Senators in the U.S. Congress, business has been very, very good.

Since the end of WWII, the war strategy of the U.S. has changed from winning to a constant rotating presence that hasn't proved a bit effectual in winning, stopping or preventing further pain and misery to the countries we occupy. It's really about not killing the job. And if some people get killed along the way, well, that's just business.

Finally out of Syria

We had no business being there in the first place. It was not our conflict since Syria is and remains a sovereign nation. That's supposed to mean something. If it wasn't for the Obama financed "Arab Spring" and his blatant arming of ISIS in the region, the Syrian civil war would have been over years ago and much less blood would have been shed. This intervention only prolonged the war and the pain war inflicts. Russia has every right to defend it's interests in the country since it has had a strong and legally binding relationship with Syria and Assad since at least WWII. That's supposed to mean something too.

Colonial interests drive Europe to press for Syrian intervention. The French in particular remain keenly interested in getting their hooks back into the region and have been behind much of the information surrounding the phony "gas attacks" that seem to serve as an excuse to deplete Syria's dictator Bashir Assad's ability to defend his government from the outsider-backed insurgency.

We were only in Syria so that Bashir Assad and Russia would not win. But legally and in the eyes of the world, there was only so much we could do. Our government and that of France kept trying to manufacture a reason to commit more resources to ultimately overthrow Assad to plunge the country into Libyan style chaos in the hopes that Russia would find their base on the Mediterranean no longer tenable but U.S. public opinion and independent voices in our government would not support such subterfuge.

Now it's time to end the charade.

The United States efforts to overthrow world powers "we don't like" has no basis or support in our laws. It has no reasoning beyond those of a tyrant and have brought us no satisfaction or good results for all the money and time we've spent.

But the U.S. military machine has plenty of time and plenty of money, doesn't it?

Enter the War Hawks.

Representatives of the Military Industrial Machine have come out against President Trump's move to end a military conflict. Florida Senator Marco Rubio has been a big supporter of armed conflict in the Middle East in his 8 years in office. It didn't take too much checking to find out why.

Florida has the largest war industry machine in the nation with 20 major military installations and nearly all of the nation's leading defense contractors. Florida also boasts $13.6 Billion in Department of Defense contracts. In fact, the scope of the state of Florida's involvement in the American "War Effort" is outright staggering.

Now what are they going to do if we stop fighting in the Middle East? Doesn't America know that all those bombs feed people?

At least now I know how Senator Rubio got elected. He's made a deal with the Devil.

A quick search on North Carolina, home to Senator Lindsay Graham, another sudden war hawk, brags on it's "Invest in North Carolina" brochure that they have the Third Largest active duty and reservist population in the United States and yields a skilled workforce pipeline for the defense industry. It has 5 major military bases and is #4 in military economic output with $11 Billion in Department of Defense contracts.

This is why Senator Lindsay Graham supports continued fighting in the Middle East. After all, it's only uneducated non-American poor people we're killing.

The Longer We Stay, the More We Fight

I originally hadn't bought into the "We're making more Radicals" argument when it was originally posed, incidentally, by the Democrats who now suddenly want us to keep our military presence in the Middle East, but over time I find that the region just never seems to run out of people wanting to throw themselves at a tank with a bomb strapped to their body. It reminds me of Major Colonel Bill Kilgore's line in the Vietnam movie "Apocalypse Now" when he asks rhetorically, "Don't these people ever give up?"

It's easy to convince people that the United States is coming for them when they are in your country shooting the place up.

Getting out of Afghanistan

After 17 long, long, long, long years in this country, are they any better off? Are WE? I mean all the "good will" we have sewn over there will come back in Spades, right? They still hate us. They hate us when we are there and they say we've abandoned them when we leave. All they want is our money and they'll never become an independent nation if they take it. It's a circular paradox that is no longer our problem.

We defeated the Talaban when they blew up the Twin Towers in New York way back when and now they've undergone a number of reformations and they either are still a force to be reckoned with or they aren't but frankly they aren't. They are a bunch of armed radicals that will exist whether the U.S. is there or isn't there but without us being there, they will have less guns and weapons to be anything but a group of Muslim killing Muslims since there will be no more Americans to shoot at.

We can't stay there forever and at some point either they will have to take care of themselves or they won't. It's been 17 years. GW Bush spent 7 years trying to get the Afghans ready to fight for themselves. Obama spent 8 years trying to get them ready and they've had 2 years under President Trump. How much more time will they need if they still aren't ready after all this time?

Anyone saying we are "abandoning" Afghanistan now after spending more time there than anywhere in the United State's history of warfare, is just trying to stay on the War Gravey Train that being on the side of Rome often provides. It's a spurious argument.

The Kurds

There is no easy, cheap or quick solution to the Independent Kurdish State issue. The Kurds have always helped out the U.S. in the region. They've fought under both GW Bush and Obama and they're helping now but the glaring fact remains that the United States has neither the authority to establish a Kurdish State or the resources to defend one should they try.

Turkey will not allow an independent Kurdish state under any circumstances and will bring their considerable might against one if established. We weren't in Syria to help the Kurds establish an independent state. They know this. They will have to keep fighting for their independence.

We Have our Own Problems

And a major problem right now is Security at the U.S. Boarder. There is no logic in fighting foreign wars for foreign interests when are going to end up losing the nation here at home.

The American Taxpayer shells out more money than most people in the world produce in a year on defense and welfare spending and both are out of control. The working U.S. citizen scrimps and saves for their retirement and most workers try to sock away dough for their later years. This becomes increasingly hard to do when so much is taken out of your paycheck before it even gets to you.

War is frivolous when it accomplishes nothing. As an industry, it is immoral at best. At worst, it's industrialized murder and whether it is waged in a "humane" fashion or not makes no difference if we are just going about it by rote.

Time to think of the people who fight our wars. We owe it to them and the military families that when we fight, we will fight with purpose and to ultimately win and not so that a military corporation can keep it's stock numbers up. We don't need to have a war for every generation to keep military traditions alive. We should try to interrupt this pattern one time just to see what happens.

Peace could become a habit. 

American Arms On Display In World Conflict

If World War III comes about, and it appears like an eventuality, it will be a boon to the American armaments manufacturers in the United States.

Everywhere one looks, there are U.S. guns and munitions. American made TOW missiles in the hands of ISIL. Turkey using American supplied F-16s to shoot down Russian planes. All around us we see American arms making a difference for the Terrorists and their enablers. This is what it’s all about. For the United States, this is what makes our world go around. 

It just disgusts me.

I cringe every time I see images of an ISIL terrorist like Paris Attack ringleader Abdelhamid Abaaoud, pictured beside a U.S. Humvee that he’s been riding around in terrorizing people with. Well not anymore since he's dead now but you know what I mean. And it has been revealed that ISIL is in possession of 2,300 Humvees to the tune of $ 579 million, many equipped with extra armor and machine guns. Good thing we sent them over there or ISIL wouldn’t have them.

But it doesn’t stop there. In 2014, by U.S. State Department estimates, our government supplied over $500 million worth of small arms, ammunition and other equipment to the Iraqi Army, also known as the ISIL Arms Middleman.

But don’t worry about the money; the U.S. government will just tax it's citizens more.

The U.S. sells ,or just gives, arms to everyone except Russia and China. We’ll supply arms to both sides of a conflict, no, EVERY side of a conflict.

Our slogan is: War, it’s just good for business.

Selling arms to Turkey so they can use them against the Kurds, who incidentally, are fighting ISIL, and the Russians, who, again, are fighting ISIL seems to run counter to a productive solution to the Middle East tangle but it is the Grand Scheme to keep the supplies pumping into the area and the money flowing to the U.S. Treasury. With all of President Obama’s Socialist ideology crippling the economy, we’ve got to get money from SOMEWHERE!

This is why we aren’t blowing up ISIL’s captured oil refineries or their heroin poppy fields. That would hurt business. Turkey is buying the oil at a huge discount. That frees up money for more guns. ISIL gets the money to buy arms through the Iraqi government by means of “Dropsies” in the field.

It’s all just wink, wink and send the check and all just fun and games until people start getting killed in France and Russia. Russia, for their part actually think they’re in a real war.

The rest of us are just in it for the money.

Obama Terrorist Relocation Program Hits Snag

Instead of sending Syrian terrorists to Gitmo, President Barack Obama has decided to instead send them to major cities across the country. One such example is: Springfield, Massachusetts.

Having spent some time in Springfield, MA, I’d say these people may yet prefer to go to Gitmo.

But living in the nations worst areas will afford our new arrivals ample cover to foment their next moves to fulfill their ultimate ambitions: Bending the United States to their will.

The Obama “seeding” program is sending North African terrorist cells to all the major bad neighborhoods in the country: Baltimore, Maryland, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Oakland, California, Chicago, Illinois, Hartford, Connecticut etc. These places are already welfare havens and dangerous hell holes both complete with daily shootings, rampant drug use, few services, fewer retail stores and bad, bad, bad schools.

But our Syrian “friends” are not here to go to school or to work.

Rather than work at the local Walmart as greeter and saying "Welcome to Walmart" to all who enter, Allie Ben Mohammed would more likely want to blow himself up there. And Mohammed Upyor Whazoo, rather than ask you if “you want fries with that?” at the neighborhood McDonalds, would probably prefer to spray the lobby with bullets while shouting “Allahu Akbar” Because, let’s face it, that’s what they’re really here for.

But perhaps I’m mistaken. Perhaps I’m just buying into the mass hysteria that is sweeping the world and maybe, just maybe, the President is right, that these Migrants are no more dangerous than Tourists.

But it is coming to light that these "tourists" are being caught at the U.S. border and in neighboring countries with weapons and fake passports. Also those "widows and orphans", as the president has casually described them, seem to be armed to the teeth! Even the most died-in-the-wool American Liberal voter has got to wonder if something just doesn't seem right about Obama's plan for a re-engineered American society. 

It should now be well known that the Tsarnaev brothers, aka: the Boston Marathon Bombers, were given every luxury at the expense of the American Taxpayer. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was given the opportunity of a free Dartmouth College education. It costs $24,210.00 a year with room and board to go to Umass Dartmouth as a Massachusetts resident. It’ costs $28,370.00 if you live in New England and $37,795.00 if you live out of state. Most of the students who go there are paying full freight. For Dzhokhar that meant $96,840.00 without the cost of books all for “free”.

But he wasn’t here to be a student.

Recently President Obama challenged his critics openly. He was heard to say: “I've heard that some folks just don’t want these killers, I mean, peaceful migrants, in their neighborhoods. Well boo-hoo to you too!” On his way out the door, Mr. Obama was heard to say; "See ya, see ya, wouldn't wanna be ya!"

Our imperial president has held firm to his conviction of distributing terror cells evenly across America’s once fruited plain so as to get the full effect of their radical beliefs. That’s part of the plan.

We should dispel once and for all that the president is making “mistakes” and is “fumbling” when it comes to importing these non-functioning illiterates and fanatical Muslim jihadists into the United States. We should all undergo the process of realization that THIS was the plan all along. That THIS is no mistake.

President Obama’s actions are becoming increasingly bizarre. As if he’s running out of time to get as much of his evil plans executed before he reaches either the end of his term or the American people reach the end of their patience.

Even his own zombie hordes we refer to as the Democratic National Committee are starting to grow uncomfortable since its really starting to dawn on them that their exalted leader has “that look in his eye” that tells them that they too are expendable. Welcome to what most of us rational people already knew. Who but only the most convicted and dedicated anarchists would continue following Obama and guarantee their own demise?  

Can Congress finally step up, do what they were supposed to do all along and put a stop to this?

It time we find out.

United States of Obama on Wrong Side of Syrian Conflict.

Can the Obama Regime get it any more wrong?  President Obama is blaming everyone but himself for the debacle that has become the U.S. Middle East policy.

Millions of taxpayer dollars wasted. Millions more borrowed and printed, squandered and every group with a name that can be abbreviated, armed.

And THEY think Assad is the madman.

Guess again. At least Assad isn’t delusional.

With all the shenanigan's the U.S. has pulled in the Middle East over the last 14 years, never wanting to actually win the conflict but only using the situation to sell armaments to all sides and to write extensive big money contracts to connected contractors, is there any surprise at the vacuum of leadership in the area. 

So Vladimir Putin and Russia have now taken the initiative in Syria and are garnering more support in the Middle East and with Israel. And what does Israel have to lose? The Obama Regime has become it’s second worst enemy after Iran. Why wouldn’t they invite Russia to dinner?

Now distance is starting to really make a difference in this situation. Russia is right next door and the United States might as well be on the Moon. With their lack of presence and even worse, their lack of credibility, the United States has proven to be an ineffectual ally. Who wants us to help them now? Just send money. In all things Middle East these days, the U.S. is just too far away. Any move now will be expensive and cumbersome. It's going to take more than a drone strike to fix this. 

So it is Russia that is forming the alliances with Iraq and Iran to fight the U.S. armed and trained insurgency. It is the United States that is on the wrong side of the conflict and what the future will show as the wrong side of history.

Who is more trustworthy in the region now? Russia is and deservedly so.

They will trust the stable Vladimir Putin over the indecisive Barack Obama, the stalwart Sergey Lavrov over that pinhead John Kerry. This pretty much goes without saying.  I mean, why wouldn’t they? Will it be long before France starts to coordinate with the Russian forces in the area. This would be a "Broad Coalition". Something the United States should have been able to do but have no clue now on how to proceed. 

Putin is right on the money when he says the U.S. has sponsored Social Experiments in the form of Democratic Revolutions for which he blamed as the root cause of the continued conflict in the Middle East.  It all began with the Obama government’s sponsoring the overthrow Egypt’s government in order to replace it with a radical Islamic State.  Obama then followed with the arming and support of radical groups all over the region. Obama and his minions were virtually hunting groups to arm and begging to train anybody who even looked like they would fight for the clandestine objectives of the United States. There weren’t many takers.

So Putin accuses the U.S. of starting the conflict and Obama responded by saying “Oh, yeah?…Well same to you buddy!”   

            

It seems by throwing in with the Man with the Real Plan, other Middle Eastern nations are voting with their feet and throwing their support to the Russia dictator’s solution, not the American dictator’s solution. Having been a dictatorship far longer than the U.S., Russia is just plain better at it than the “Man Who Would Rule the United States”.

Word has it that Obama will bypass Congress to form a new solution to the old solution. Stay tuned!

Middle East Solution: Quit Arming Everybody!

Quit trying to train one group of people to fight another. Quit giving anybody with a grudge and a Koran a gun and a reason to use it. Get the hell out of the Middle East altogether so they can reach equilibrium on their own.

The Middle East is just an open air market for weapons of mass destruction furnished by your “friends” the United States Government.

You may ask yourself now, after 14 years of buildups, pullouts, surges and training goals, just how many enemies can the United States make in the region? The answer comes in the form of another question: How many people are IN the region?

How much death and destruction can the Obama Administration sew? After watching the previous presidential regime of George W. Bush take a “Don’t Kill the Job” position in Afghanistan and Iraq where winning the war wasn’t really on the agenda. Just keep throwing people, money and arms into the place and SOMETHING good may happen.

Well, it never did and every day, week, month or year we spend over there will not bring us any closer to an ending. Get out.

There isn’t a working brain cell in anybody in the U.S. military who thought that they could train and arm a Syrian force to go after Bashar al-Assad.

It’s all been a colossal hoax, all a lie. And all the money, U.S. taxpayer money, a commodity that grows in shorter supply every day, is gone in an instant. What happened?

Nobody knows. It’s all a game to these people. Nothing is real.

If you wish to know why a general mood of despair is gripping the U.S. military, then look no further. The military has become a politicized den of ineptitude that cannot bring itself to actually do the job that it was designed to do: kill the enemy and take all their shit.

If our military can’t do this or its commanders lack the will to carry this out then it should NOT be deployed.

We’ve wasted 14 years on a mishmash of ideas and lack of an end-game. Just what were we supposed to do if we win?

But that’s a moot point now.

There are still people in our government still talking like we are going to send over a large force and finally end the war and wipe out ISIL. Just how delusional is that? 

ISIL is the best armed force in the region because we gave them the best weapons indirectly. We first gave them to our friends the Iraqi Army. They in turn dropped them into the hands of ISIL. There is also evidence that our U.S. forces actually trained some of ISILs’ top leaders just as we did the Afghans when the Soviets were pushing through the country.  Now the forces that turned the tables on the Russians are turning the tables on us by our own design. 

ISIL is our people, the Iraqi Army are our people, the Kurds are our people. They are ALL our people fighting each other over there. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that we're training the Russians and supplying them with armored vehicles. 

We are done wasting resources on people who won’t fight for themselves and who are all too willing to enable ISIL to take over.

We’ve helped too. 

Muslims Really Should Question Faith

Why is it that Islam is associated with violence?

Why is Islam so unshakable when so many people are killed in its name in the 21^st Century?

Why should Muslims be upset with people being worried when they are around? What they should be upset with is that fellow Muslims are killing people in droves. Does this not bother them?

Islamic militants are currently pressing armed conflicts and killing scores of people in the countries of India, France, Russia, China, The United States, The Philippines, Nigeria, Somalia, Algeria, Belgium, Uganda, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Libya, Pakistan, Yemen, Syria, Chechnya and Israel. I'm sure I'm missing a few.

And people are somehow put off on Islam by this. 

With straight faces, Islamic defenders express that this paranoia is unreasonable. THEY are not the cause of the killing but a minority radical element. People shouldn't blame THEM. 

How CAN'T the producers of world-wide insurrection and the export of terror around the globe be surprised at people’s paranoia in regards to Muslims? How else are people supposed to react?

When they are actually out to get you, paranoia is really just GOOD THINKING.

Should we simply ignore the fact Muslims are sending 10 year old girls into the marketplace with bombs strapped to their bodies to kill innocent people? Should we simply rely on marches and candle-light vigils to combat the growing menace that is radical fundamentalism among…Muslims?

And how does it feel to belong to a religion mostly known for mass murder and forced subjugation to their faith? You don’t agree? Off with your head. And even if you do agree? Off with your head. This is a worthwhile pursuit? 

It's all about force with Islam. It's more important to gain converts than what to do once converted. The main object is to convert and since most people don't want to, force is a requirement. This force draws people who feel powerless and so Islam gives them an excuse to exert force upon others. Convert or die. Allah has spoken and in the blink of an eye we are back to 1095. 

What kind of people tie a man's hand behind their back and throw them from a two story building? I suppose anyone can do this stuff but not anyone is doing these things. There is only one group doing all of this. 

What do I see when I see a Muslim?

Either rightly or wrongfully, I see a religious fanatic. I see a person whose religion dominates not only the way they see God and the world but every action in their daily lives. I see a person who differentiates people as either fellows or outsiders, fellow Muslims or Infidels. I see an uncompromising autobot who blindly follows without questioning. And I see either a killer or a potential killer, an enemy of civilization walking down Main Street, U.S.A. 

Even the women, especially the women, are suspect. And while I'm at it, women in a free society do not live in bags!

Am I alone in this feeling? How did I come to think this way? I wasn't born with this attitude, my attitude was MADE.

The cold cruel nature of the way these Muslims kill casts a pall over every Mosque and Muslims should feel at least somewhat ashamed.

But they don’t feel ashamed.

They feel mistreated. They feel put upon. They feel that THEY are the victims.

And why in the world should they feel that way? See above.

If you want to wail against the insidiousness of Western Culture, our gaudy magazines, our lecherous people and our morally corrupt Hollywood movie machine (ok, point taken), THEN DON’T MOVE TO A WESTERN COUNTRY! Why did you leave your majority Muslim country of peace, love and mutual respect to come to a heathen enclave of blasphemers? Huh? Once Muslims gain a significant population in any country, they start insisting they call the shots for their own community and issue their own laws. 

It is a poor house guest indeed that shows up and tells you how to run things when the place they came from is a royal fucking mess of their own making. It displays an arrogance of a rare stripe.

They come saying they want freedom but then attempt to impose their restrictive religious orthodoxy upon their host country. France is the biggest example that springs to mind but there are others.

This is why Islam cannot lead. Oh, it may take over but it can’t hold. It rages and destroys but has no hope of accomplishment because turmoil and destruction accomplishes nothing. Islam, even what they call Moderate Islam, is a religion of rigidity that cannot bend or change so it will wallow in the pain of history that it has brought to the world and until it stops, there is no choice but that the world see Islam as the death of civilization.

In light of all that has been happening, can someone prove otherwise?

U.S. War Machine Rejoices at New Military Target ISIL

“They marry ideology, a sophistication of strategic and tactical military prowess, they are tremendously well funded. This is beyond anything we have seen.” – U.S. Secretary of Defense: Charles “Chuck” Hagel

“New intelligence assessment estimates that the Islamic State group can muster between 20,000 and 31,500 fighters across Iraq and Syria, up from a previous figure of 10,000” – CIA spokesperson.

"This country should not make any mistake on this, nor anyone in Congress — this is a threat to our country," Chuck Hagel

And it couldn't come at a better time to perhaps boost President Obama's sagging, no, TANKING job approval numbers leading up to the crucial mid-term elections. The Nobel Prize winning peace maker has again become the War Officer.  The climate seems right to strike... a deal with the U.S. Military Complex for the hearts and minds of the American public in an election cycle. Hell, it worked for Bill Clinton. 

 

And this time the U.S. War Machine has “found” another threat to the safety of U.S. citizens. Is it Al-Qaeda? No. Is it Hamas? No. Is it the Tea Party? Well, no.

Stop me if you've heard this one before but it’s yet another Middle Eastern Muslim group.

But this time it’s SERIOUS!

ISIL is sophisticated, well-funded and use a strict interpretation of the Koran to live by. Wait, I HAVE heard this one before. AND they wish to set up a Religious Caliphate in the region. How unique!

President Obama has now proposed a bold new initiative: Arm the opposition groups. 

It’s Deja vu all over again.  This time the lucky recipients of U.S. arms and training will be...envelope please... The Syrian Opposition. This is probably because they are the only group left in the Middle East we HAVEN'T armed yet. 

What can possibly go wrong?

Back in the 1860s, during the war of U.S. Succession also known as the Civil War, Confederate General Robert E. Lee’s army was the best equipped army in the South. Why? Because General George B. McClellan’s Army of the Potomac, the opposing force, was the best equipped army in the North. That’s where Lee got most of his weapons. This is the same of ISIL. What we've shipped over there, they've got. When we bomb ISIL tanks, we are bombing our tanks, when we blow up a stash of shoulder fired rockets; we are blowing up our SFRs. That’s how it works. But don’t worry, we’ll make more.

As long as we keep arming "opposition groups" in the Middle East with the latest weapons, the U.S. war machine will always have a Boogie Man to make the American public jump through a hoop for. After 13 years of mostly meaningless warfare, they're ready to jump back on the war wagon. It may take ten years to finally defeat ISIL said President Obama. I'll bet there were many war factory executives creaming their jeans over that statement. And ten years down the road, when nothing is accomplished but more physical destruction of the landscape and the American taxpayers footing the bill, I predict there will be a new threat to take the place of ISIL. 

The train just keeps on rolling. 

Having an external enemy that our government can “protect” us from is one way the Federal Overlords can consolidate and hold on to power. Heaven forbid that Peace should break out.

But no worries there since this isn't likely to happen any time soon. After all, we've kept this latest “conflict” going now for 13 years and just when things looked like the United States was going to leave, surprise, a new threat to America, it’s children and it’s overfed dogs and cats has emerged out of, where else, the desert sands of the Middle East. What a coincidence.

So our Middle Eastern proving grounds has yielded more target practice but just enough so they’ll stick around for our next generation smart weapons. Who knows, perhaps we’ll get to test our newest satellite laser or some such futuristic diabolical device that, if successful, we can then sell to Kuwait.

We build these groups up so we can knock 'em down. This is because, here in the U.S. ,war is an industry and to win such things is not the true objective. The real objective is to study, analyze and then to develop new arms to counter the arms we just sold.

U.S. arms salesman: “Oh, so you have the SX879.9 death machine? That’s a good one but that’s last year’s model. We just put out the Model SX880 which not only has 3x the killing power but can neutralize the older SX879 on the battle field. Yes, it’s a little bit more but it’s worth it! AND it comes with 24/7 365 tech support. Plus, I guarantee the Chinese don't have one yet. Now, how many can I put you down for?”

So now we've got another "war" on our hands and it looks like it will achieve everything it is intended to accomplish: Mainly keeping Obama's Amnesty for illegal aliens, U.S. open boarders policy, ObamaCare, NSA spying, Justice Department gun running, Bengazi and a myriad of other lies and subterfuges that the Obama government has pulled to destabilize the economy and demoralize the citizenry.

New Obama Strategy: Arm Everyone in Middle East!

“This really will solve a lot of problems.” 

So says U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry. “This way, everyone in the region has a chance to defend themselves from radical Islam.”

Mr. Kerry elaborates, “Since ISIL is now the best armed military force in the region thanks to the Iraqi military running away and leaving their U.S. supplied tanks, shoulder-fired rockets and other nefarious high-end devices of death to be picked up by this latest radical militant group, the United States has no choice but to now give EVEN BETTER weapons to somebody else in the hope that they can stop their advance. It's just common sense."

"It doesn't matter who we give weapons to really. All anyone has to do is take a pledge not to use them against U.S. troops in the future and it's “Here you go, boys!”.

Have a laser guided Hellfire missile installation! Here, take a couple of trunks full of night vision goggles! We were only going to give them to the Day County South Dakota police department anyway so that they could intimidate people who cross the street in the center of town against the light.” Says Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, “We just have so much of this war stuff lying around, it would be a waste not to use it for SOMETHING.”

U.S. State Department spokesperson Marie Harf sums up the situation, “First the U.S. arms the regime of Bashir Assad. Then Assad falls out of favor so the U.S. government was forced to arm all the different opposition groups trying to overthrow Assad. In this manner the U.S. also is arming ISIL opposition groups even though they too are radical Muslims. We supplied military arms to the opposition groups in Libya who were working to overthrow Muammar Gaddafi too. Unfortunately, these were the same people who attacked the U.S. Embassy building there, killing ambassador Christopher Stevens along with agents Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, but those are the chances you take when you are try to win the war on terror, right?”

John McCain, U.S. Senator from the state of Arizona had this to say about his full endorsement of the new Obama military policy, “Since these radicals have very sophisticated weapons now, it is the obligation of the United States to keep arming opposition groups. What these groups are actually opposed to is not the point. As long as they are opposed to killing people, they are the people to arm and hopefully they will only kill for peace.”

Whitehouse Chief of Staff Denis McDonough explains the implementation of the new strategy, “With so many splintered groups opposing not only ISIL, Assad and Al Qaeda, the Pentagon has just decided to drop weapons into the desert and let whoever finds them form their own opposition group. They’re just going to shoot somebody anyway.” 

“And why wouldn't ISIL want U.S. weapons?” asks the rhetorical U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, “We make the most sophisticated weapons in the world. Nobody is even close, except maybe for China but you have Bill Clinton to thank for that. Just think about it, we can hover a heavily armed drone above your house for 20 hours a day almost anywhere in the world so when you eventually come out to walk the dog, Blamo! You never even know what hit you! How cool is that?”

Mr Holder goes on, “It’s not important who gets killed by these weapons but that somebody is putting them to use. Weapons are a big export of the United States and as long as somebody is using them, we can make more. It’s good for the economy. Hell, we've been giving them away to Mexico for years.”, he states proudly.

Vice President Joe Biden adds, “What’s the difference if people in the Middle East are killing each other with knives or top-of-the-line high powered sniper rifles? They’re just as dead, right?” In this part of the world we see a niche and we work to fill it, that’s what we do!

President Obama hopes to just declare this new strategy the law anytime now.

Iraq Is George W. Bush's Middle East War

Just like the first one, the second Iraq War was a war that should never have been fought.

And just like in the Vietnam War, we knew from the start of it that the locals were not going to fight. The only difference between Vietnam and Iraq was that the reports of the South Vietnamese' lack of stomach for their civil war with the north were suppressed and kept from the American people at the time and only came out long after. In Iraq the reports were public right away. 

There is a huge chasm between what some Iraqi factions said they wanted and what they were willing to fight for. The United States started training the local defense force ten years ago and here they are; a group that has no will to defend its current government. This is also a reflection of how they view this government which was funded and set up by foreign hands and was more interested in favors and exclusion than building a new government. They certainly don’t feel a loyalty to it or are willing to die to defend it.

This is no surprise. Who didn't know that as soon as the United States stepped out for a cup of coffee, the whole country would go to the other side? All those young lives, all those resources earned by the American people and that were taken from their pockets to support the war and all this time WASTED. And we KNEW it from the beginning. This is the biggest sin of the crime of Iraq Wars: All that wishful thinking. 

Trying to pin this result on Obama is just rhetoric. Since the president didn't keep the money spigot on and "do what it takes" to continue to send our best to Iraq for ANOTHER ten years the inevitable failure in Iraq has been his doing? Even though it took him six years after he made his campaign promise to end the Iraq war, Obama did promise to end the Iraq war as a tenant of his first presidential campaign. The President was hammered for his delay and now he is being hammered for not continuing. You can't have it both ways even when the president is a flaming Marxist. 

This is the Industrial military complex coming to the fore to make their bought and paid for Republocrats in the government jump up and yell "Foul".

It is these long and wasteful wars; Afghanistan 10/2001 and Iraq 03/2003, wars never ending, that are the reason the Republican Party lost the White House and that the current regime is now is in control of the country. The GOP was all in on going into Iraq again and are the ones to blame for this and with everyone there at the time the blame should remain. 

We are a nation in denial

The Iraq Wars were not about winning, they were all about the money. If they were about winning, neither of them would have lasted more than two years and not three times longer than it took to fight WWII.

And talk about deceit. First there was the “Weapons of Mass Destruction” that nobody actually believed had existed and, of course, were never found. Once Saddam Hussein’s regime had fallen it was then about “Nation Building” which is what we do after we knock down a country. But the country wasn't actually knocked down and City-States aren't made, they form organically over time. A long, long time. And since we were spending millions of dollars A DAY in Iraq, time was something we never really had.

Isolationism

This term has taken on new meaning among the warmongers in government. The people tied to the BIG Business of arms manufacture in the United States. We make the BEST, most sophisticated armaments in the world but if there is not war well, what the hell are they good for? Peace is bad for business.

So when someone asks: "Gee, why have we been fighting all these wars over the past number of decades since WW II?" All we ever get in response is the dismissive accusation “What are you, some kind of ISOLATIONIST?” "Hey Dick, this guy doesn't want to invade a foreign country, he must be some kind of Passivist or something!" "Nah, Dick says, He's just an Isolationist, just ignore him."

So an Isolationist these days is someone who doesn't want to intervene in the affairs of sovereign countries and if they don’t welcome our “help” then we send men with guns to MAKE them like it. This is a far cry from free trade and non-intervention that our founding fathers had wished for our nation.

The future of the Middle East

 

Once the United States military is out of the Middle East entirely, and this should happen one way or another, the Iraqis will have no choice but to resume shooting at each other. With no “Great Satan” to focus on, it stands to reason that the now radicalized and heavily armed and funded new Revolutionary Army will need a new one. They will have to find some other group to rail against since they are wholly unfit to lead a modern nation and after generations of conflict, now know of no other way to live or die. 

Perhaps they’ll finally look towards the House of Saud and the super-rich Arabs that have been pulling their strings for so long OR they can still just blame Israel.

What the United States should do now

Perhaps the United States will get now get serious about how we produce oil in this country, abandon the wasteful practices of subsidizing politically motivated and inefficient energy producing schemes and focus on making oil use more efficient and produce it locally. Solar and wind has its place but oil is the atom of industry and we should take this to heart and make it better rather than wasting resources on what we already know isn't going to be the mainstay of American Economic Power.

And we should leave the Middle East…to themselves.

This is what our policy should have been from the beginning. We would have been more popular world-wide, our economy richer and our children alive.

What should not have been in the first place looks to be coming to an end.

The Iraq Withdrawal: The Right Thing for the Wrong Reason

Just short of nine years, our involvement in Iraq this time, lasted longer than WWII, The Civil War and our American Revolution. Billions of dollars were spent, thousands of US lives were lost and the goals of the conflict and it’s eventual outcome remain unclear. So it has been announced that the US is leaving Iraq.

And the American War Machine is Pissed!

With the loss of Iraq, there is less justification for new armaments and facilities, less catered War Rooms, less opportunity for advancement and less travel. No more junkets paid for by Raytheon, Boeing and Lockheed. The budget is sure to get cut. We'll lose all the chics who dig a man in uniform! What’s a war monger to do?

War has always been a growth industry in America. Since before I was born, we went from Korea to the Vietnam “Conflict” (to 1975), supporting the Contras in Nicaragua from 1977 to 1984, Invasions of Grenada (1983) Panama (1989) the first Persian Gulf War (1990-91), Haiti (1994-95) Kosovo (1999), etc. And through most of this the Cold War was running until 1991 and now with the War on Terror (2001-?) which involves our even longer stay in Afghanistan. Then there is our incredibly wasteful War on Drugs (1984 to Infinity). I know I'm leaving things out but I've only allowed myself one paragraph for war chronicles so to just paraphrase:

Guns, guns, guns!

But now, for the first time in a long time, one of our true growth industries has to cut back. Oh, the Sean Hannity of it!

And it wasn’t even because we really wanted to. No, no, this was not our government's first choice.

President Obama, for all his initial inexperience in “foreign relations” has really embraced his roll as Commander in Chief. So much so he has totally set aside his avowed campaign pledge of bringing our men and women home after he was elected and in fact started a few more fights for good measure. But the president was unable to secure a guarantee from the Iraqi Parliament that our troops would continue to be protected from prosecution for war crimes in the international courts. This and only this has served as the impetus for the United States to finally withdraw our troops from the country. Can you believe it? 

As a Libertarian, I have always been disappointed that so called Conservatives have a propensity to back military initiatives and odd constitutional amendments like the silly “Anti-flag Burning Amendment” but it’s the Progressives in government that really tend to expand on that mentality with a sort of “ I didn’t start it but I’ll finish it” military fervor. For me, it just reinforces my belief that Republicans and Democrats are just part of the same government syndicate. I haven’t seen much difference between that war monger, free spender GW Bush and that war monger, free spender Barack Obama other than one ran a baseball team for awhile and the other has never held a real job.

The remarkable thing is that none of this almost constant warfare has served to make this nation a safer place to live. Our “foreign entanglements” have put us more and more in harm’s way and have not only drained our resources but has fostered animosity to the point that our malls, city centers and schools have become the soft targets of a growing discontent with our ever expanding interventions. One can blame Hollywood for it’s exportation of cinematic depravity but having Syrian troops shoot cans of CS gas with the “Made in Jamestown, PA USA” label on them into houses with women and children living there sends a different message. It says “We sold the people who want to kill you this poison.” Enough said.

So at any rate, we can cheer that our troops are coming home or rather we can rejoice because we get to see them again before they are reassigned to some other altercation we’re cooking up.

I here Uganda is the next “Boom Town”.
