Young Autobots March on Washington

For these young activists, there is no alternative; guns have to go. But not all guns, just the "bad" ones and in this pursuit they have been given valuable access to national media channels.

Ignoring all facts connected to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, the missed opportunities of law enforcement to arrest the shooter and have him evaluated, the cowardice of the people who have taken a vow to serve and protect and so are paid a princely sum to do just that and the failure of people who failed to act, these people still blame the gun for the crime of the man behind it and the failure of the people put in charge to stop it.

So there must be more to this.

The Political Left's agenda is not to arm teachers so the kids don't want to arm teachers. The Political Left's agenda is to ban "Automatic" and "Assault" weapons so the kids want to ban these too. Never mind that they don't know what an assault weapon really is. Most rifles and 95% of all pistols sold are "Automatic" which is really Semi-Automatic. So most everything out on the market can be technically considered an "Assault Weapon".

Of course, what's in a name, right? You could just as easily call them "Defense Weapons" since plenty of people use them for that also. I guess that name won't stick for the media's political purposes.

So the demands by these young people are rigid, just like the Mentors who are advising and directing this latest campaign to take guns away from the law abiding citizenry.

Yes, we're sick of the shootings and the carnage but trying, again, to take the guns away isn't going to solve the problem so resisting the idea of having SOMEBODY who is armed in the school to protect the students should be approached with an open mind. It's the way things are moving and only requires legislation at the local level. Trying to get Congress to pass a restriction of any sort would come in direct conflict with the 2nd Amendment.

The real practical approach would be to bring back mental health facilities that were closed down in the 1980s. That was money well spent in light of having to deal with the aftermath of the mentally ill getting their hands on a gun.

Also it is apparent that we must re-impress upon our law enforcement establishment just what their job really is. It's not to put 40 rounds into an unarmed man in his grandmother's back yard. It's to protect us from bad people. When people are more concerned with police shooting them than a mentally deranged killer, things have gotten a bit out of hand.

So mass shooting training for all schools and place an armed person in the schools, either a volunteer teacher or armed guard. You'd think teachers would want to carry a gun given the chance since it's their neck on the line in the event of a shooting also. Who actually desires to be a human shield?  Grab a gun and make the other guy a human shield for Christ's sake.

Let's face the facts; despite the "Never Again" signs, this is going to happen again so it's best to be prepared for it the best you can and carping on yet another gun ban that has failed repeatedly in the past isn't the best way to do so.

President Trump hasn't said much other than banning the ridiculous bump stocks and thats fine. That is not a restriction to access. I also don't think Congress has the focus or the time to be trifling with an unsustainable ban that would foster only a strong counter-reaction that would shift focus away from the economy and put it squarely on the fight to overturn the law.

And there will certainly be a fight. Although this issue is never ultimately settled, the last definitive ruling was in 2008 when the Supreme Court re-affirmed that people have the right to posses a gun for personal protection.  We will just end up re-living the whole episode over again with more money and time being wasted.

People can try to muddy the water by knocking around what a "Militia" really is but since the Federal government pays to support the National Guard in each state and can order them to war regardless of that the governor of that state thinks, one cannot seriously conclude that they are really the "citizen soldiers" the 2nd Amendment refers to. They are regular army.

Nope, nope, nope, the people are the militia and they have a right to own a gun. And not a pop-gun either, they have the right to own a gun that chambers a bullet that our very own government uses.

So here we are.

What we are witnessing is a guided display made to convince us that these students and the nation is fed up and now all of one mind on gun-control when that certainly isn't the case. This will always be one of our great internal battle in these United States.

For what freedoms we have to remain, we too must remain ever vigilant.

Liberal America Rejoices at Black Church Shooting

It didn’t take long at all for the political Left to come out swinging for the fences on “Hate Speech” and “Hate Crime” and how BAD guns are and that they should all be rounded up.

The bodies weren’t even examined before President Obama made his not unexpected pitch yet again for Gun Control legislation. Never mind that he tried this before and failed. The mantra of the Left is "try, try again". 

The first thing most regular tax-paying middle-class American citizens had to have said to themselves when they heard about black people being shot by a white guy at a church, AFTER realizing what a tragic killing of some America’s most dedicated Christian church people this was, was “Oh, here they come again!”.

And here they are.

The airwaves instantly came alive with impassioned victim-hood from the Liberal Victim Nation that President Obama and his Leftist Media Propagandists have repeatedly tried to whip up to flaunt their neediness and how whatever “White America” does, well, it just isn’t enough. From Trevon to Ferguson, the Leftist media has taken a deeper breath to shout from the mountain tops that only can a dis-armed America be a truly safe America and that death is dealt to the black man by the white hand of hate. 

All the usual suspects emerge with a new lust for the limelight. No tragedy will be left unexploited and today is no exception.  Just before jetting off to multiple fund raisers, our Socialist President made an impassioned plea for something he’s been saying he’s wanted to do since inaugurated, get the guns out of the hands of the citizens.

There are even Leftist political operatives advocating for the repeal of the 2^nd Amendment, like that will bring calm to the Nation. The opposite will occur, be sure. Good luck with that one.

One thing I really hate about so called “Conservative Media” outlets is that they do the exact same thing.

I don’t read the fucking New York Times and I don’t watch fucking CNN so the LAST THING I need to have happen is to have the outlets I do frequent to tell me the crap that the NY Times and CNN put out. I DON’T CARE to hear it because I already know what they are going to say. It’s not like it’s going to be enlightening, informative or different, it’s only going to be the same old Party Line. That’s why I don’t read that paper or watch that program.

So why do I need to see that NOT Conservative news show FOX tell me what people like, for instance,  Karl Rove are saying? Who cares what he says? He's a nitwit that gets paid by the work by all these birds-of-a-feather programs. Ditto for a snake oil salesman like Al Sharpton. Why would you quote these yo-yos? To make people jump through YOUR hoop? 

I don’t need “name your conservative radio host _________ to tell me what they print in the New York Times or the L.A. Times. If I wanted to know, I’d be reading it myself.

It’s all just a game to these folks. I point at the Times and YOU call my program in a froth about those God Dammed Liberals. Oh, and while you’re at it, can you support our sponsors?  It’s just a cheap trick to disguise the lack of content and thought they put into their programs. “Oh, let’s just pick up the paper and see what my show will be about tonight? Oh, look what’s in the NY Times, my work is done!” It's like one can't live without the other. So tell me again how different you are?

It’s tiresome.

The Left is tiresome because they keep coming and coming after the people have decided otherwise. The people didn’t want Obama Care but here it is, until it collapses. The people don’t want unending war, the people don’t want subsidies as a substitute for earning a living and they don’t want thousands of illegal aliens in this country either being supported by their tax dollar or looking for a job that they or their kid may be looking for too.

The Right is tiresome because they are mostly indistinguishable from the Left. They want the illegals too and for the tax payer to support them with services so that companies like Tyson Chicken can pay them crap but they community will house them and provide them with healthcare. And these people are supposed to be looking out for us?

And when the Right does get to decide what to do what do we get? More prisons and Anti-Flag Burning legislation. That’s important right? And THEY haven’t met a war they didn’t like either.

Don’t know why I bother.

Anyway.

Go ahead and repeal the 2^nd Amendment. It won’t do any good. None of the anti-gun legislation ever passed has stopped anyone who really wanted to get a gun from getting a gun. If they want to shoot up a church, there isn’t a whole lot anybody can do about it since there is no murder in a gun since it is but a thing. It’s the murder in the heart of man that has to be addressed and the atmosphere propagated by a distrusted government is as much to blame as anything else. 

A gun is just a long knife and they sell knives in every big box retail store as well as fertilizer and propane. Gasoline is on every corner and people are driving around in 2000 lb weapons while looking at their "Smart" phones. Go figure. What is government going to do, issue permits to buy gas?  

Whether you run people over in your car, push them out of a window, blow them up with a home-made bomb or shoot them, they still dead and you still a killer.

No legislation is going to stop that. That’s just a fundraising theme and the Left is going to be cashing quite a few checks over this latest shooting and perhaps the Right will be too.

Obama Campaigns While His Policies Turn To Shit

Mr. Obama is back on the campaign trail. As if he ever left. He’s out giving speeches on topics from Gun Control to Gay Marriage to mapping the human brain but answers no questions about ANYTHING. This may be because his national media support team doesn’t ask them or that NOBODY is allowed to ask questions.

But there he is, flying all over the country still.

But it’s all just more distraction, more redirection and more subterfuge for the Obama regime because the last thing President Obama wants to talk about is his policies because NOT ONE of his policies that he and his Leftist ilk has pushed through Congress to become law.

These are the LAST things that the president wants to talk about.

“Look! Over there! It’s North Korea! Aaaah! Look out! They mean it this time, they’re going to do something baaaad! Hey but wait, all these kids got shot in Newtown, Connecticut. We gotta doooo something right now! It’s baaaad! This is a national CRISIS! This is IMPORTANT!”

But the real crisis is that the much trumpeted “Recovery” is not a recovery at all but a failing attempt by big government at slowing the economic death spiral that it's tax & spend policies has put the U.S. economy in. It continues to spend money the nation has yet to earn while getting nothing in return.

The quick rundown of just some of Mr. Obama’s campaign themes:

The Stimulus has been an expensive failure. Just on its surface it could never gain ground on debt because it increases debt. How can you produce ANYTHING when you’re expanding debt? It makes no sense.

Green Energy has also been a colossal and expensive failure. Green Power is pricey power. Look at the Cape Wind project that was going to be built off the coast of Massachusetts. It was all a rosy picture until we found out what it was going to cost the public when/if it went on line. Boom, gone! No more Cape Wind. The Obama government has been losing millions in taxpayer funds in it's gamble of picking economic winners and losers in energy production.

If there is a single major reason that the economy is not recovering but in fact going backwards, it's ObamaCare.  Any gains that may have been made would be offset, or rather, overwhelmed by the incremental increases brought about by the Lefts National Health Care initiative. What business is going to hire workers when they don't know how much they're going to cost from year to year? ObamaCare makes people more expensive to hire and keep every year when they should be finding ways to make them less expensive so they can be hired and so that business can be compeditive on the global marketplace. The source of this great expense has not been wages but government intervention in the healthcare industry. There isn’t enough money in the world to make Socialized Medicine work.  Just by the nature of it, ObamaCare could never work. Unfortunately it will cause a lot of pain on its way down the “Failed Socialist Ideology” toilet of history.

Gun Control can never work. Sure kids got shot but kids get shot every day in our inner cities and nothing, you hear nothing. This is because those deaths are a result of government mandated prohibition that keeps drugs illegal and therefore firmly in the hands of an increasingly violent underground economy and murderous terrorists. Who wants to talk about that? Certainly not the president.

Obama’s support of Teachers Unions has been a dismal failure since most of his Stimulus package went to them instead of his much touted Shovel Ready jobs. Remember those? Mr. Obama apparently does not.

The list can go on. There's the Public Union Pension Liabilites that are crushing state budgets across the nation and the Federally mandated funding of Medicaid and Medicare which were mistakes right from the beginning.

And so far it’s all held up by printed or borrowed pieces of worthless paper.

But the message we get from Mr. Obama? “We can do better!” What does that even mean?

President Obama may be able to defy Congress. He may be able to defy the Supreme Court.  He may be able to defy the U.S. Constitution and the will of the American People. But the one law the President won’t be able to defy is the Law of Gravity. Because of his either purposeful or misguided direction, these debts our government is piling up will fall due and when that happens, all the money will turn to shit just like Cyprus.

Everything the Obama Regime has put through has caused hardship, shortages and pain for the general public of the United States. There is more poverty, more people out of work, more people on food stamps and more people in the streets than at any time in the Baby Boomer era. We as a nation are in the most debt ever run up by government.

And nothing is going to be done to address it because government is out of bricks to kick under their various pyramid schemes that they've used to buy votes since the 1950s. There are no more fixes and no more money to throw at them. We as a nation are insolvent.

So when you hear the sound-bites circulated on radio and TV, just keep in mind that that is all you’re ever going to hear. There will be no questions, no answers and certainly no candor or truth.

But the truth is, this nation is in a heap of trouble.

Obama's Kids Are More Important Than Your Kids

It's painful to see New Jersey Governor Chris Christie prostitue himself for the Federal Government all for the hope of getting yet another disaster handout from the Obama administration. Watching Christie dance to the Federal Overlord's tune is a distressful development since he was once a hope for change in how government has been treating the American taxpayer or as the Federal Government refers to us as: Our ATM.

While our Federal Coffers are filled with IOUs and Christie has played tough with his local budget, he has demonstrated no toughness at all when it comes to the Feds picking up the tab for his states shortfalls in the form of local disaster relief. Why buget for that since the Feds will ALWAYS write a check? Good question.

But now Christie's latest groveling to the Federal God has come in an alarming form: Making disparaging public comments about one of the few organizations that is actually looking out for the Bill of Rights, the National Rifle Association. The Federal Media has trumpeted this turn of events like they always do and try to turn it into a plus for their Federal Benefactor, the President of the United States.

The NRA has every right (for now) to point out the continuing hypocracy of President Obama's edicts and to include the disproportionate privledges of the political class.

But one good thing has come from this. We know that Chris Christie is not the man we thought he was. In fact we the public have been given the clearest picture of what he really is: A short-sighted useful idiot.

Whether Christie really believes the NRA was out of line with their ad featuring President Obama's children, we'll never really know.

What we do know for a fact, however is that Christie is a politician and as such his children, like President Obama's, also enjoy the trappings of government wealth in the form of the best private schools, the very best healthcare our nation can provide and armed personal protection as well as a fabulous pension plan and a guaranteed future.

And you, you stupid slobs, have the privledge to pay for it while you're skipping yet another traveling vacation, paying off your healthcare deductable in installments, worrying if you have enough gas to get to work and shopping at fucking Walmart.

So we as a nation can rejoice as Obama's children and Chris Christie's children enjoy their privledges and will grow up to go to great colleges and gain plum assignments in government subsidized non-profits or government owned media outlets, of course. All the while your own kids are out on the streets in the line of fire, shouldering the burden of paying back their student loans, facing rising taxes & fees and trying to find a job while companies that should be hiring them are still assessing how much all the extra taxes and fees they are constantly being hit with these days will allow them to even keep the people they have never mind hiring more.

The future of our children is being squandered and their right to protect themselves and to enter the professions they choose are diminishing daily under our ever present, ever borrowing and dictatorial regime.

The message here is clear: You're kids don't rate.

While the Feds are giving your money away to the Richest Poor People the world has ever known, you and your kids have to pay the full freight and live under conditions our Political Elite no longer even identify with and who enjoy protections most taxpayers can't even imagine. These are the people who are supposed to be  looking out for us?

Let's face it. To the Federal Government, you're not only not number one, you ain't even number two!

Republicans Go Wobbly As Obama Nullifies Congress And the Bill of Rights

President Obama has thrown down the gauntlet. He will breach the U.S. Constitution if he issues an Executive Order banning any kind of weapons. There is no power entrusted to the President of the United States under the Constitution that gives president Obama the authority to issue any proclamation to usurp any article of the Bill of Rights. But he’s going to do it anyway.

Why? Because there is no body or group that will actually try to stop him.

What's left of the Republican Party is playing the Washington Generals to Obama's Harlem Globetrotters. They just show up to lose. That's their job. Imagine just giving up the Bill of Rights because you're afraid that by defending it you'll look bad to the American public. This is a strategy?At least make a stand! Sigh.

The Republican Party is afraid they'll be voted out if they oppose the president but they'll be voted out anyway if they don't. They might as well fight since two years is a long time in politics and at least the people, the working "taxpaying" people, of this country will have a two year head start on their plans for survival in the coming takeover. Like Obama even cares what happens in the mid-term elections. He's taking power for himself right now.

As the climax of any action movie will tell you: This is it!

This is the moment the big business left has been working towards. The culmination of steady purchases of the political class and the wearing away of an individuals right to choose his own way in life. They care not that they rule a nation in ruins, only that they will rule. Stalin didn’t care, Mao didn't care, Castro didn't care. Obama doesn”t care.

But there will be a backlash OR perhaps not. Obama may succeed. After all the presidency has been gaining strength beyond the Constitution for decades. FDR took over once but was stopped in the courts. Obama already owns the courts.

The president has been able to start wars without the approval of Congress for decades. Even though it is specifically mandated that only Congress can declared war. Passing the War Powers act got past that one. Now the president is free to send troops into any conflict and in fact create a conflict without a care for 90 days. Obama, with his media accomplices easily knocked down any protest of his totally unconstitutional intervention in the Libyan civil war. He even violated the War Powers Act itself and nothing happened other than the radical muslim faction gained control of Libya.

The president has been able to borrow and spend money without the consent of Congress which is also specifically outlined in the Constitution. So much for the power of the purse that Congress is supposed to wield in times like this where the president is spending money like a sailor on shore -leave to prop up his array of payoffs to the public sector and their welfare brethren.

The Constitution is a piece of paper. That is all it is. But its words and ideas are the testament of the pinnacle of civilization. If government does not want to stick to its tenants, then we, the free working citizenry of this nation, have a fight on our hands the like the world has never seen.

Congress has been finally successfully circumvented and it is Congress themselves that gave away their Constitutionally granted power.
