Obama Threatens Supreme Court over Socialized Medicine Plan

President Obama has taken a second shot at the nation’s highest court over his orchestrated government takeover of U.S. health care providers.

Back in 2010 during his State of the Union speech, president Obama openly chastised the attending Supreme Court justices over their decision to strike down impingements on the right to free speech by overturning the horrendously unconstitutional McCain/Feingold bill. In what was politely criticized as a “breach of presidential decorum” was an overt attempt at intimidation. Obama openly castigated Justice Alito to thundering applause from the Socialist elite of the Democratic Party standing all around them.

This time Mr. Obama is trying to press a case of “Judicial Activism” for his health care plan named, in true Orwellian fashion, the “Affordable Care Act” which is currently on the Supreme Court chopping block.

This latest accusation is perhaps president Obama’s most absurd statement yet although at this stage of his presidency it's hard to tell. To brand the Supreme Court an “unelected group” when he himself, along with G.W. Bush, has perpetuated and expanded the so called government “Csar” overseers who now rule without legal precedent over all aspects of American Government. 

People like Health Czar Nancy Ann DeParle. Who elected HER? Or who elected Obama’s Medicaid Czar Dr. Donald Berwick or the director of national AIDS policy, AIDS Czar Jeffrey Crowley? And how do you suppose national border Czar Alan Bersin or Climate Czar Todd Stern managed to gain office? Add to this group: Drug Czar Gil Kerlikowske, Science Czar John Holdren, Technology Czar Aneesh Chopra and Economic Czar Paul Volcker.  

Who are these people? All together there are 33 government Czars who draw handsome salaries of $158,000 a year and up. 

They aren’t part of the President’s Cabinet; they’re an extra set of invented lawmakers who can pass "mandates" and make policy decisions whenever they choose and Congress doesn’t get to vote on them either. What’s up with that?

They have no legal authority to do what they do and have no constitutional right to exist but there they are just the same. 

So when Mr. Obama sniffs that the Supreme Judicial Court, an actual branch of government outlined specifically in that pesky old U.S. Constitution, is an unelected group, he’s talking out his ass. I'm surprised his head didn't explode when he said it. Some nerve that guy has. 

It remains to be seen if the Supreme Court will strike down ObamaCare but if it does it is neither unprecedented or a case of judicial overreach. It’s their job to do so as they have done before. It is a job that has been clearly defined in the highest law of the land from the very beginning of this nation.

And lest I forget, the president of the United States took an oath to defend the laws the Constitution have established “So help me God”.

I think the president must’ve forgotten that part. 

Romney/Paul Ticket a Winner

Question: What would make me want to vote for Mitt Romney for President?

Answer: If Ron Paul is on the ticket for Vice President.

It’s enough to give that wack-job radio (lack of) personality Mark Levin an aneurism. 

This would be a smart move by Mitt Romney for several reasons. The first is that he is too much like Barack Obama himself and why vote for a Liberal Republican when you can have the real thing in a Liberal Democrat? So having Ron Paul as his Vice President would set him apart ideologically and Mitt Romney needs that so very badly. He doesn’t have to adopt Ron Paul’s Libertarian ideals but he could let him go at the Federal Reserve and sit back and watch. That would be delightful!

Another good reason to have Ron Paul as part of a Mitt Romney run for the Presidency is that they really seem to get along. Dr. Paul, as elder statesman, has the experience on Capital Hill that Mitt lacks. He knows his way around the halls of Congress like few in the Romney campaign do. This is a valuable asset.

And still yet another good reason is that Ron Paul, as a consistent voice in the dissonant winds of government would keep Mitt Romney grounded and free of glaring missteps that even presidents that were considered good have made. Like Ronald Reagan granting amnesty to 20 million illegal aliens. What was he thinking? Who told him that was a good idea?

Mitt Romney and Ron Paul are kindred spirits in a way. Both are seen as having "problems" because of their beliefs. Mitt for his Mormonism and Ron for his Libertarianism. 

Ron Paul would not be a “yes” man and Romney will need that if he is to set this country back on the right track. Mitt Romney is a smart man but can he go it alone without trustworthy council? Who has been the most consistent voice in Congress no matter what you may think of the man?

I can recall that Congressman Joe Lieberman of Connecticut, who was at the time before he was a Vice Presidential candidate, a staunch advocate of the School Voucher Program. That’s the program where you, as a taxpayer, receive a voucher for the money you have paid toward the school system via taxes, would then be able to use that voucher to enroll your children in THE SCHOOL OF YOUR CHOICE.

But when Al Gore picked him to run with him as Vice President, Joe Lieberman never uttered the word VOUCHER ever, ever again. A true man of principle, Joe Lieberman.

Ron Paul is not another Joe Lieberman. No Sir.  

This would also be a shining achievement for Libertarianism. To have Ron Paul as a Vice Presidential nominee would be the next big step in acceptance in the ideals of freedom not embraced since the founding fathers did in 1776. How sweet that would be not for us but for this great nation. After all, we’re not in it for the money like the Liberals.

Forgotten will be the alternate disparagements and ignoring of Dr. Paul. It is no secret that the younger voters, having witnessed the failures and false promises of the past, are hearing the Libertarian message. It’s been long overdue for freedom and the freedom loving to go mainstream.

Would that it were, would that it were. 

Media Blitz’s Ron Paul - Radio/Print Establishment Unite Against Libertarian Candidate

I think this is unprecedented in my life time. I find this all day everyday media blitz on radio and in print against US Presidential candidate Ron Paul alarming.

Never before have I witnessed all media, those from the political Left and the political Right, come together to totally thrash a leading candidate to the extent they are campaigning against Ron Paul.

Not Mike Dukakis, not George W. Bush, not Al Gore or even Barry Goldwater has had this kind of blistering rhetoric come from BOTH sides of the political spectrum. 

Makes you wonder what the big deal is about this guy. Why, after 35 years, is he now a threat?  How can a man who campaigns on a platform of peace, liberty and the individual pursuit of happiness be branded by ALL media as a ‘Kook”?  I have yet to hear one talk-jock say Ron Paul is relevant or electable. He’s both and his ideas have found a home in the American public. And the government establishment knows it.

For decades the United States has been ruled by a band of elites that take turns at the presidency. Democrat or Republican makes no difference, they are the same person and their policies only get continued by the next politburo appointee.  What this political establishment has done is allow illegal aliens to overrun the country, built a towering entitlement program that is a large contributor to the bankrupting of the country and the undermining of individuals beliefs in self-sufficiency. Their expansion of government into all aspects of our lives is unwieldy, inefficient and profoundly expensive. We have generations of welfare recipients and people who feel they cannot live without what government gives them. Such a waste.

The present syndicate that is running the nation is out of control in their spending and their militarism. With every passing administration, we find it more out of step with how the American taxpaying public feels. Is Ron Paul a nut or is he the only one saying what the people already know?

But to see this play out on the airwaves and the dying print media is to marvel at how far the established media will go and how shrill they are sounding. They know the policies of the past are failures but are willing to back them because that’s how their bread is buttered. How short sited they are since when we as a nation run out of bread, they too will run out of bread. They don’t live so high that they can’t fall also. No one will escape if the United States falls.

Time to go in another direction and there’s no better time than right now.
