Facebook Owes You Nothing!

Why all the outrage?

You have no preponderance of privacy or right to free speech on Facebook.

Why?

Because you don't OWN it!

You are allowed onto Facebook at the behest and good graces of Facebook owner and CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

And whether he invented it himself or, as some have accused, swindled some other egocentric grifters out of it, Mark Zuckerberg is the person who can say who is allowed on HIS social media giant and who is not. It's HIS site and his marketplace. He is the arbiter of who has access. He does not owe you or anyone else a forum for anything you have to say to the people who are logged into his social media world.

You don't like it?

Then by all means get your own website or better yet, start your own social media company.

Alex Jones has his own websites. He, at least, has spent some time and money developing his own outlets for his wacky bullshit. That is his right and he's taken advantage of it. Being taken off of Facebook is a hit to fan access but he's not shut off since he controls his own media sites. You want to listen to his claptrap, you know where to find him. You are free to do so at your leisure and there will be no one to stand in your way.

Never heard of Laura Loomer but she has a website too. I can't speak to whether she's whacky or not since I can't be bothered but at least you can go find out for yourself without the "help" of Facebook.

Milo Yiannopoulos and Luis Farrakhan, those cheapskates, don't have websites. They rely on free access to Facebook and that other Zuckerberg controlled social media entity, Twitter, for an audience for their frenetic rants and streams of unconsciousness.

As for the impact to the owner of Facebook, it's a given that all these self-promoting radical high-wire acts are starting to become a major liability and a world-class pain-in-the-ass. The leaders of all the major nations are on Zuckerg's case in a vociferous and litigious fashion about the media mogul's site content and he no longer seems inclined to want to put up with it.

I can't say I blame him.

If I owned Facebook, I wouldn't want to hear it either. I wouldn't have put up with that self-absorbed bluthering lunatic Jones on MY social media site either. I can think of no other person who personifies the reason we should bring back Mental Institutions in this country than Alex Jones.

The Right Wing media is using the action Facebook is taking to generate sponsor revenue and whip up angry phone callers about how anti-free speech it is in regards to banning certain people and groups from Social Media. It may certainly be but it's not unlawful. Facebook is not publicly funded and is not bound by rules of public access rights. The US taxpayer isn't paying the bills.

It may not be fair but it doesn't have to be fair either. It can, and is, totally arbitrary. The "reasons" are equally dubious. That other extremist group, Media Matters, which seems under the rules ok to stay on Facebook, is essentially accusing Jones and Yianopoulas of complicity in mass murder since this Left Wing group has taken to branding Conservative groups as White Supremacists.

I wouldn't have Media Matters on my site either. Get off you Left Wing agitators!

While I find all these people yappy and annoying, they are no more or less dangerous than those yoyos who try to get people to eat Tide Pods or do death defying daredevil stunts that have lead to their less talented imitators not managing to actually defy death at all.

But those are ok, right?

But in reality a good reason isn't needed. Facebook is only using "Hate Speech" as a show. They have to say something for public consumption and since it's the catchword of the decade, it's very convenient. We all know there is no such thing as hate speech.

But you don't have a right to free speech on Facebook and you never did. They tell you that when you sigh up but nobody ever reads the agreement. Whether you read it or not, you're still bound by it. and with mounting pressure on the boy genius, it's going to be enforced more and more and the people and groups that they pick aren't going to like it. But they didn't build Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg did.

And what he says,goes.

Alex Jones is a Crazy Person

If you listen to this guy speak for 5 minutes, you just get the feeling that something is wrong with him. Sure he's "Conservative' I guess. So what? So he's a Conservative Crazy person and a self-promoting Show Boat on top of that. I don't know who he thinks he's speaking for but he's not speaking for me.

Youtube and Facebook can do what they want. If they boot Mr. Jones for content they don't like, they have every right to do so because it's THEIR site. Alex Jones doesn't pay to have his stuff on either site. It's free but it's not free because yes you can post stuff on there but if they don't like it, they can take it down. It's their site.

Alex Jones should just pony up the dough and get his own website. That way he can post all his crazy talk on his own site without further issue. That is the American Way.

I don't listen to Alex Jones because, to me, the content of his broadcasts is the ravings of a madman. He's almost as crazy as that guy Mark Levin. Levin is as Mad as a Hatter.

I can't listen to either of these guys for more than a minute. When they are on I ALMOST want to listen to a sports channel but instead I just turn the radio off.

It's like Mr. Jones and Mr. Levin want to get you into a fight. They want you to go running into the streets in outrage over the latest perceived (by them) slight. THEY are your Arbiters of Outrage. You don't have to think, let THEM tell you what to get your nose bent out of shape for. I don't know about you but I'd find this act exhausting after awhile. If I didn't think is was a put-on in the first place, which I do.

It makes me miss the late great David Brudnoy on Boston Radio station WBZ so very much. He had something neither of these guys have and that's called CLASS. He could so eloquently refer to a certain group as "Barbarians" you would just nod your head and smile because with one word, he had defined them. Friend and foe alike respected his opinion. He had well thought out ideas and logical arguments. When he made a point, you were hard pressed to talk your way out of it.

No bluster, no name calling, no grand standing, no anger and it was not an act.

In other words, everything opposite of what is going on today in the radio wars for the hearts and minds of the the voting citizen (and voting, driver's license holding non-citizen).

Today's Talk Radio

The so called Conservative radio of today is so boring. I can do a talk radio show today easy. Here's my opening line:

"Did you hear what the New York Times said about Donald Trump?"

Every phone line will light up.

"The latest from The Huffington Post will shock you!"

Call the advertisers and tell them we're raising our rates!

Anyone who calls one of these shows has rocks in their heads but apparently people have nothing better to do with their time than to wait on hold in order to be used as fodder for the host. It's their time so what can you do but marvel at the self-importance. I suggest that instead of listening to this poorly thought out ploy, the radio equivalent of click-bait, you either should go to bed with a good book or go to bed with somebody who's read one.

Go and live your life and put the phone down, cancel your Facebook page, you Linkedin page, your Twitter account and stay the hell away from social media and talk radio. You'll have so much more time for yourself and your real, live social circle.

You'll be glad you did.

No Such Thing as Hate Speech, Mayor Khan

The term "Hate Speech" is just a veneer the Stateists hide behind when they encounter bad press.

Witness the latest call by an elected official who doesn't like what he's reading. The mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has an issue with people not saying nice things about him. Of course in Great Britain there is no right to free speech so it's not a stretch for a Londoner to want to stop such open discourse. It's just not...proper.

Well this BOOK BURNER, Mayor Khan, has a problem. The people who are saying terrible things about him are beyond his reach on Facebook. So he wants to have the government pass laws governing what speech is allowable.

This is all under the guise of "protecting people". You see, if they hear something bad about Mr. Khan or themselves on the Internet, this could damage their delicate self esteem.

Yes, it's all for the CHILDREN! Can't you see how sincere Mr. Khan is?

You see, the Mayor of London just can't stand the THOUGHT of such things. In fact, it's these THOUGHTS he is hoping to stop from manifesting. We should all just be nice and keep our stupid opinions to ourselves on the Internet. If we should have hateful thoughts about the Mayor or about other stupid politicians like him then we should be restricted from expressing these thoughts and that nobody should be allowed to read them.

So Mr. Khan wants something to be done to detect and report "Hate Speech" on line. Which brings to mind a question:

Who will be the one to determine what "Hate Speech" really is?

It's easy really, Hate Speech is something YOU don't like.

Perhaps we could get a nice socialist mayor of a big city to be the judge.

Problem solved!

I think Mr. Khan will gladly become the arbiter of all things Hateful. HE will be the one to determine what should be said on the Internet. Can you blame him considering his background?

Although I see a big problem since here in the United States, we do have a written Constitution and a Bill of Rights that, first and foremost, guarantees the right to say what you want to say. Oh, there are a few limits but I would hardly equate sending hate notes to Mayor Khan, an outspoken lightning rod of a public figure by the way, to yelling "fire" in a crowded movie theater.

I'm sure this egomaniac Mayor Khan would disagree.

And imagine the outrage if someone were to tell the honorable mayor that if he would only watch what HE was saying, perhaps he wouldn't trigger so much "Hate Speech".

But the right to say what one wants must only apply to him. YOU don't get the same opportunity because YOU don't count for BEANS in Mayor Khan's book and only your speech should be restricted. Such things do not apply to a man of his high stature.

Gee, I guess Mr. Khan is British after all! He does seem to possess that arrogant regal swagger of self-importance that emanates from that island nation. Britain did ban American talk radio host Michael Savage from entering the country even though he had no intention of ever going there.

I get a kick out of people who go on about having a right not to be searched. Or they have a right not to incriminate themselves. In fact I hear many people go on daily about their rights. Yet these same people have no qualms about restricting the same for others. They're all for the police kicking down doors or searching motor vehicles at random stops to get "criminals" but scream bloody murder when it's their door that is booted in or their car tossed for no visible reason. Go figure.

There is plenty of evidence that its the British government itself that has no problem with such issues as written laws protecting speech, privacy and to be secure in your personal effects and property. It was THEY who tapped into international communications lines, the British spy agency, the GCHQ, and collected personal data on American Citizens and then gave the information, literally data on millions of unsuspecting people, to our own NSA. All without the pesky problems of a warrant or reasonable cause. So who really are the criminals in all this?

Do you want the government, ANY government, to tell you what you should be seeing and hearing?

Give up the right to own a gun and you will.
