The Kurds Pay for Their Ambitions

It seems an improbable scenario that the Kurds would be able to establish and manage to actually keep a part of three established countries in order to manufacture their own country.

There was never really a "Kurdistan". And there never will be in our lifetimes considering the massive issues involved in such an undertaking. The Kurds not only want their own state...somewhere. They want a part of Turkey, a part of Syria and a part of Iraq. And that's a king-sized pipe dream no matter who you think can make it happen.

This wishful thinking by the Kurds that the United States will use it's might and power to establish for them and thus be involved in defending into perpetuity, a Kurdish state in this manner should be looked upon by all as, at best, a bad gamble.

And brow-beating President Trump in the press isn't going to help the situation much.

If the Kurds didn't want to get slaughtered by the Turkish army, perhaps they shouldn't have blown up all those people in Turkey. I'm sure plenty of innocent Turkish citizens have been killed since the The Kurdistan Workers Party aka the PKK, a Marxist group by the way, started their Militant Armed Insurgency inside Turkey in 1984.

But nobody seems to care about them now.

This isn't the reason why the Turks hate the Kurds since that history goes way back but it is the reason why Turkish forces have been chaffing at the bit to finally go after them in a big way. They have been stymied by the politics of the Syrian Civil War and the intervention in it of the United States which then drew the forces of Iran and Russia into the conflict. And let's not forget that President Barack Obama was behind the arming of the ISIL forces and other militant Islamic factions in Syria. That helped a whole lot.

Thanks Mr. Obama!

At any rate, Turkey most likely has had it with the situation and have at least warned the U.S. about what they were going to do. It's their region of the world, not ours. If we left our small force in the way of the Turkish offensive, what good would that have done? Did we want to instigate World War III by letting our men and women stay where they were and dare Turkey to go over or around them?

In a region of the world we had no right to be in the first place?

Keep in mind that Turkey is a contracted ally. For what it is, they are in NATO with us and host U.S. military installations. There is an expectation of cooperation in matters such as this. Although a faction of the Kurds has fought on the side of the U.S., another faction is bombing Turkish government and civilian locations. So what's the good answer to that?

The politics of the issue and the bottom line is that it was never really our fight. It's yet another internal struggle we would be forcing ourselves into like Libya and Syria and frankly setting up and holding a Kurdish state is an impossibility. None of the three countries involved would put up with it and "Kurdistan" would find itself under assault on three fronts. Good luck with that. Like Medicaid for All, there isn't enough money in the world to hold such bad ground. Just because they want it, doesn't mean it's going to happen and the Middle East is full of factions who's abilities do not come close to matching their ambitions.

The Kurds are no different. They could try a more political approach since their violence has only been returned to them in spades.

It is not the job of the United States to spend the money and spill the blood for every group that puts on airs and thinks they're entitled to their own piece of turf at the expense of others and the sooner the world figures it out the better off it will be.

Muslim Hordes Poised to Overrun Europe!

Doesn’t look like the European Union has spent any time studying the “American Example” of letting too many people into the country that have no vested interest in the nation beyond receiving benefits that the taxpaying citizenry receives but also pays for. With some reports stating that anywhere from 51% to 71% of our burgeoning illegal immigrant population receive some form of assistance whether that be Food Stamps, Section 8 type housing allowance, WIC (Women, Infants & Children) Benefits, A Welfare Stipend, Free Public School Education for the kids, Instate Tuition for the college bound kids and Free Health Care. Take your pick.

What is happening in the United States is that the government is jamming large groups of kids into public school systems that don’t speak English and expecting the teachers to prepare them, as well as the other students in those classes, for mandated evaluation exams. Increasing class sizes and integrating non-english speaking students is a recipe for disaster. What is happening also is that communities are being put under tremendous pressure to house these people and to provide for their needs.

The bottom line is that there are quite a bit of resources going to these people that are paid for by resident taxpaying workers in a time of economic contraction and declining wages. Every dime that is taken for this assistance means less for the people who pay, less for the businesses they would otherwise frequent and less for the overall economy of the nation. In short: A downward spiral.

The reason why we are stumbling through the Obama years is that too much is given away for free and the people who are paying for it have to make hard economic choices when it comes to their spending. It’s the taxpayer that is going without, not the illegal immigrant.

This imbalance has proven to be the unsettlement of the nation.

The reason we even had Health Insurance in the first place was to protect us from crippling balloon payments connected with costs of health care. But now we have big payments for everything AND we still have to pay the insurance premiums.  It’s like we’re paying into a system so that we can be allowed to pay into the system. And on the other end, it’s all being handed out for little or no costs. Their costs are SUBSIDIZED by the American taxpayer who, right now, is struggling to keep ahead of the rising costs of food, housing and yes, HEALTH CARE.

This model will not stand.

Yes, the United States is a melting pot but this is not the way to do it.

On to Europe!

So now the turmoil of endless warfare and the ever growing injection of increasingly sophisticated weaponry into the region by the United States in its unthinking effort to “Shovel Shit Against the Tide” in the Middle East has started an Exodus.  And since the EU has enacted welcoming laws like those of the United States, rather than stand and fight, the great unwashed masses of the Middle East have decided to take the path of least resistance and head to the wealthiest states in the Union. They can give two shits about Hungary or Poland, heck, they got nothing for them. No, they are making a B-line towards Germany and Austria, the most well-to-do, for now, states in the EU.

And why not, these people aren’t just content to be out of their war-torn countries, they want MORE. More of what YOU have since you have become rich beyond measure in comparison to them.  THEY want what YOU have. And now’s the time you give it to them.  After all, you’re suckers to begin with so why not see how much they can take? It’s only human nature.

AND the added benefit of the Middle East is that these hordes asking for help from the Christians are Muslim, a group that is notorious for not assimilating into countries they invade. And why should they? It is YOU that must change. Witness the protests and the demands these interlopers have been making in Hungary. Will they be any different somewhere else? I think not.

Hungarian leader Vicktor Orban, has been heavily criticized in the International Press for being, of all things, Nationalistic! He has referred to the immigrants as "illegal". He has warned that Christians will be the minority in Europe it this mass migration continues. He has been accused of hypocrisy because he was raised an Atheist. It’s as if it is a crime in itself to have a love of country or perhaps to even find God, especially if it is a Christian one. Seeing the situation for what it is has made Mr. Orban a lightning rod for scrutiny.

But for whatever reason, we already have evidence of what happens in countries where the Christians become a minority. They get Run Out on a Rail or killed and their churches burned. This has been happening recently in India, Egypt, Syria and Saudi Arabia, Niger and Israel to name just a few.

When people are out to get you, “Paranoia” becomes just “Good Thinking”.

It is easy for The Global(ist) Media to criticize people opposed to this human influx, put out pictures of drowned kids and lead the charge to champion the "plight" of these poor, poor, poor people who have the money to pay thousands of dollars for passage and who all seem to be holding smart phones. It won't be THEY who will have to deal with the consequences of this mass immigration.

But ultimately it is the competition for resources that will be the biggest conflict. With nations heavily in debt, where is the money going to come from? With large groups of unmutable peoples, how are the host countries going to deal with the discontent that will invariably arise from too many people chasing too few resources. How can a country the size of Germany possibly prepare for 300,000, 500,000, 800,000 people?

Good question, glad I asked it.

Why Europe?

A question also comes to mind of why, with all these other Muslim countries these "Migrants" can "Emigrate" to, are all these people heading straight to Europe? Wouldn't they rather be with people who believe in what they believe or is there something else involved?

We don't hear any pledges to take ANY of these Syrian refugees coming from Iran, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt, Turkey, Sudan, Algeria, Jordan or the UAE, No, it is Europe who will best set these people "yearning to be free" up in style better than any of these places with free lodging, clothes and free schooling. At least until they can set up their own separate religious schools.

Back in 1675 in New England, King Philip had the Colonials on the ropes early in what has come to be known as King Philip’s War. Towns like Springfield, Middleboro and Deerfield had to be abandoned or nearly abandoned and by putting people on the move, the more established towns were really put out in their efforts to support these “refugees”. It momentarily changed the war in the favor of the Indians. If it wasn’t for the scourge of European diseases and lack of food, King Philip may well have triumphed in his efforts to rid New England of the invaders. At least temporarily.
Putting people on the move has always been a good tactic in warfare since it ultimately destabilizes an enemy’s position when they have to absorb so many people.

This time the enemy has put people who are more like them on the move rather than like the people they are going to. Doesn’t take a genius to see the problems.

We need only look to America.

Message to European Union: Don’t Do It!

Message to EU: Don’t Bail Out Greece...again!

How many times are you guys going to fall for this Scam? Greece is Grifting the European Union AGAIN! Please wise up and snap out if it. You'll feel so much better later.

The Greek Madhouse they call a Parliament has pushed the EU’s major player(s), meaning Germany to the brink and then pulled back far enough to draw them in again because NOW the Greeks feel that they can comply with the EUs financial demands IF they can get, this time, a five year bailout deal.

Does anybody see where this is going?

These guys in the EU have got to have rocks in their heads if they are going to part with any more of their taxpayer’s dough. After all the money that they’ve already put into Greece with NO return, none!

How desperate and foolish the EU will look. First with even trying to make a deal at this late hour in a pie-in-the-sky Hail Mary pass and then the foolish part comes later when they again have the football pulled from underfoot just as they were about to kick it as Greece plays Lucy to the EUs Charlie Brown.

Do we have to continue to bear witness to this, the world’s longest running drama and this latest “Will she, won’t she” episode that, although it was years in the making, it's so boring to watch.

The European Union ought to just throw in the towel on a bailout plan and chalk it all up to an expensive education by the Commie Greek Nut-jobs that they should have known  better than to get involved with. The EU ministers mothers were all heard to say “ See? I TOLD you not to play with those kids!”. They should have listened to mother.

If the EU won’t take into consideration it's own well-being and the quality of life for their own taxpayers, perhaps they can do ME a favor and get on with the business of getting Greece out of the EU sooner than later. It’s NOT going to get any better. Just more years of  talks and catered lunches, first class flight accommodations and black limousine rides with Television cameras and people asking the same stupid question over and over, "What has this crisis got to do with Global Warming?". Maybe I'm wrong, maybe this sort of thing is something the self-important rulers of Europe never get tired of. Hell, it beats digging a ditch!

So if not for you, do it for me. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put me out of my misery. If this Dog and Pony show goes on any longer, I don’t think I’m gonna survive. How can you all do this day after day and get nothing done for YEARS?

It’s like watching some YouTube video of "Russians doing Crazy Shit". I want to live my life in peace but I just can’t  look away. Everyone can see it coming except the guy in the video. What was that guy thinking? How long will he be able to hold on?

You've been warned.

The Anarchist Mentality

My last girlfriend was and remains an Anarchist.

I have to admit that living here in suburbia that one doesn’t get to meet or have everyday interaction with a real Anarchist so it was a bit of a shock to the system upon the revelation of that Anarchist attitude toward our society as it is presently.

We met on an Internet dating site and she lives in the city of Boston.

The thing that attracted me to her was that we had similar backgrounds. I was born into the projects of the City of Boston and she was born into the projects of New York City. We both had gone to public school, were around the same age, liked many of the same things culturally and were, essentially, city dwellers. We were both employed although she works for a public radio station in the city and I work in the private sector out in the burbs.

What I didn’t like about the relationship was her attitude. Her attitude politically, in my opinion, was disturbing.

It wasn’t that she was a Liberal, because she was and I could deal with that, but also her distain for and desire to destroy the pillars of what had built in the United States from the very beginning. The tenants of Capitalism, self reliance, of working hard to build wealth, private ownership of property and even Democracy when it got in the way of what was "Right".

She wished for the whole system to collapse, the economic system, the political system, our society and yes, our Constitution, the document upon which is was all built, to be done away with. This was unbelievable to me.

I would ask “Well doll, what would you propose we replace it all with?” No clue. She didn’t care about that part. “You know, I continued, this will hurt not just the well-to-do but the working class and yourself as well. If the system is destroyed, wouldn’t you lose everything too?” She didn’t care about that either. It was only important that the people who were in power lost theirs and the consequences to her, her family and her friends were secondary.

This is the mind of the Anarchist. They don’t care who gets hurt or what happens afterward, they only wish to tear down what is there now. There is no thought of "after".

Greece is currently displaying the Anarchist Mentality as it has been plying its Con Game with the European Union. Greece didn’t join the EU to be a part of something greater, they joined because they saw an opportunity to scam some money from some high-minded aristocrats who traditionally had looked down their noses at them. They saw an opportunity to spend other people’s money because they know that once established, the EU would throw more money at them to hold it together. Now when they’ve pushed the EU monetary ministers to their breaking point, Greece, which has already stated that they are in War Mode, will only work to pry the EU apart. Too bad the EU didn't believe it when they first heard this said.

But this is what Anarchists do. It’s Comeuppance. To them, it’s what the EU deserves for taking home a sick, half-dead rattlesnake and nursing it back to health. They should have known better. You cannot expect gratitude from a snake.

One place where I think the paths of my ex-girlfriend and I diverged was when my family had to enter the projects in Roxbury, my mom, who was the head of the household, remained working. We were in public housing but we didn’t go on the welfare track. She had always worked from a young age, from fighting boys for the coal that fell off railroad coal bins as the trains passed by during the first Great Depression and then in the war factories of WWII. She ran a giant turret lathe and drilled cannon barrels for tanks. She always told us how the oil that lubricated the drill wreaked havoc with her complexion. When the boys came home from the war, the women were let go and told to start families. The work ethic stayed strong and when she was left widowed with three children, she went back to work.

In the projects, where few people actually got up everyday and went to work, Ma got up every day and went to work. We saw this. This is how the work ethic is built. There were things we couldn't do with her because she was working. There were things she couldn't do with us because she was working. That's why they call it "work". This also fostered resentment among those who did not work and there were tensions, threats and sometime physical violence which myself and my older brothers had to deal with. Me being the youngest, I became the easiest target for some of this. We were different and the "so, you think you're better than me?" mentality was evident. This is a divide for the ages. When they couldn't get to us, they went after my mother's car and that had to be defended too on occasion. And one of my most vivid memories was one winter when ma slipped on the ice, fell hard, hitting her head and then getting up and still going into work. She said the next day that she doesn't remember a thing about the day or what she did.

Back then women weren’t viewed as the bread winners and you only got your start as a secretary. A secretary salary only goes so far.  Still, through hard work, taking college courses at night and seeking higher opportunities, ma was able to work herself into a better position to get the family out of the projects which she eventually succeeded when I was halfway through elementary school and my brothers were entering junior high school. She bought a house, not the best house, in a suburb of Boston in a blue collar neighborhood. Up to the time we could work, we never asked for money.

Neither I nor my three brothers went to our high school Proms. We didn’t go on school trips that required money. We didn’t go out to eat much except for an occasional trip to McDonald’s or Howdy’s and a big trip was going to Lake Pearl way out in Franklin, MA to swim. When we got old enough to work, we saved every dime and contributed to the house. One brother and I both worked our way through college, myself through night school. We took nothing and we owed nothing.

My girlfriend’s upbringing paints a different picture. When her family came to New York from Puerto Rico, they went on public assistance even though they had an intact family unit since her father and mother, who were married, were together. She lived in public housing right up until she graduated high school and went to college. College was paid for through the State since she lived in public housing and was “poor”. The family was all this time on the welfare system. She went to the University of New York and also got her master’s from prestigious California University, all on the public arm.  She now works for a “non-profit” communications group funded by the State and by listener contributions making a better wage than I do. Was that life hard for them? I bet it was but it was very different from my experience growing up.

So it stands to reason that she would be All In on the Welfare State since all that she is today is because of it. The gulf between us was wide and deep and although I was very fond of her, our relationship was doomed.

One time I noted that my organization really likes to hire minorities and would do so at every opportunity yet, due to the nature of the work, most don’t tend to stay long. She asked me what kind of community outreach we were doing to correct this “problem”.

My reply was, after “Are you fucking kidding me?!” was that we are an equal opportunity employer and if someone, anyone, can’t make an effort to apply (online even) and walk in our door for an interview, what good will it do to go looking for them? Success does not cater to the unmotivated. Community outreach indeed. We have plenty of Portuguese employees since we are located on the south coast of Massachusetts, THEY are a minority group and THEY seem to have no trouble finding the place.

This is a fundamental rift of the entitled. They hate the very system that hands them everything and they should since we’re doing nobody any favors by giving them the very things they could earn themselves if given half a chance. In this instance the Welfare State served only to create and support Anti-Capitalists and Anarchists.

At least one that I know anyway.

One sees people doing well and works to get ahead like they did and the other just wants to take it away from them by force if necessary as if somehow they cheated them or others to get where they are and are keeping them down through The System! If only they were allowed to make it so.

But there are many others just like her who work with us, walk among us and are currently in our government. Judge the actions and not the words but their words give them away if we actually take the time to listen to them. Anarchists tell us everyday what they are after. We just refuse to believe it.

Because of the situations of our upbringing, both of us were left with chips on our shoulders. But only one of us wants to destroy what another has built. Sure there is corruption but there is plenty that was built the right way, through hard work, commitment and capital risk. Capitalism may not work for everybody but no system does and we only need to view history to tell us how well Socialism has worked.

Socialism has sunk Greece. It sank Venezuela and Brazil. It will sink Spain. It will sink Italy. And it will most certainly sink the United States of America so yes, my ex will most likely get her wish and feel good about being a part of its downfall. The white European majority, whatever that really is, will fall. But what then?

Zimbabwe got rid of the Europeans and within a year after many of them were drinking out of mud puddles and dying of Cholera in the streets while their economy collapsed and the nation fell to ruins. It’s still a ruin.

But they didn’t care. Anarchists don't think that far ahead. It wasn’t about them living; it was about destroying the white farmers and taking what they had built. That was all that mattered. They neither thought nor cared where the food was going to come from. They didn’t know shit about running a farm but they drove out the ones who did because that’s what Anarchy does. It destroys indiscriminately and without a plan for the future.

Once the Communists gained power in Russia, they quickly learned their plans didn’t work but still took 78 years to collapse. The misery the people of Russia suffered under the Soviet Union is well documented and heart rending.

All the Marxists cared about was taking power, what happened after that was not important and subject to improvisation.

Anarchists can’t run a country. Terrorists can’t keep the lights on.

They can only destroy.

EU Throws Cash Down A Greek Commode

When is Germany and the other major EU countries going to wake up to the fact that they’re never going to get their money back.

Didn't this sort of thing already happen during the post WWI era with U.S. Stock investment in Germany that lead to the Wall Street Crash of 1929 and triggered the first Great Depression? Does this ring a bell with anybody?

As the story goes, the stock investments were supposed to build factories and office buildings in Germany to restore the nation and deliver a return on investment. Like in the old Broken Window theory of economics, Germany needed everything. But little did the investors know that the money instead went to paying France the formidable war reparations it was awarded in the Armistice.

In this fashion, none of the money that was pouring into Greece is going to where it is supposed to go either.
The smokescreen being thrown up by the latest Greek government is not unlike the smokescreen that was thrown up by the last Greek government. It’s a Dog and Pony Show, just a put-on for the rubes meant to keep the status quo when everyone knows it can’t go on.

Nobody wants to throw in the towel on the EU when its intrinsic flaws were evident from the very beginning. The EU can’t strangle the shit out of another EU country by taxing them back to the Stone Age like our government in theses United States can do and has been doing.  Also if an EU country goes into debt and like Greece, MASSIVE debt, in a currency they can’t print, then there is no economic force, like inflating the currency, that can be pulled without effecting the rest of the EU nations. They’re just stuck with the debt and THAT effects the other EU nations.

So Germany ends up doing what the U.S. did in the 1980s with its stupid loans to South America: They start lending MORE money to the debtor nations so that they can pay the interest on the U.S. loan debt. But instead of banks laying out case, Germany and France are going to the taxpayer well and that is a BAD HABIT.

At least the U.S. banks did this to buy time to eventually write down and charge off the losses but they still had to take the loss. Drawing out the write off only softened the blow to investors. What is the EU going to do? It doesn’t look like this is their plan.

Hello, EU, Greece has NO INTENTION of paying back the money!

They are still in some weird War Mentality with Germany where they are trying to justify their non-compliance with their EU monetary responsibilities as an act of defiance for being flattened by Germany in WWII. As if the EU put a gun to the heads of Greek politicians when they signed their ridiculous retirement and pension agreements, giving their massive and massively wasteful Public Sector the right to a job and a right to retire from that job at, what, 55 to 58 years old? And come on, they only SAY they are going to start collecting property taxes, they aren't actually going to DO IT!

And in this case it’s the German taxpayer who really suffers and the working class of France and the people who bust their asses at real jobs who see their tax money being funneled to the unworthy, the unmutable and the unwilling to cooperate with the plan. Is this the result of a long simmering dislike based on the past or is this merely an excuse by a desperate nation that is living the Ant and the Cricket Aesop Fable? It looks like the later but the result will be the same.

So why should the EU throw any more money at Greece? Greece is going to just waste it and laugh. Of course they will only laugh long enough til they realize they aren’t going to get any more.

But that is Nationalism for you. People are very protective of their system. Even if it’s shit, it’s still THEIR shit system and they aren’t going to let France or Germany dictate the terms even if it was they themselves that Screwed the Pooch on their finances. What do they care? The sun and ocean is still warm and the olives are in season. The tourists will still come and at least they’ll make SOMETHING. Hell, they’re not paying any taxes so the overhead is low.

It used to be that the U.S. had a sense of Nationalism and pride like that. Right now there are too many American Citizens who think the U.S. is the problem nation of the world. As a percentage there seems to be fewer people who believe in the old American ideals of self-sufficiency, self-reliance and the advantages of hard work in a Meritocracy. They feel the people who have should give all to those that don’t  regardless of the circumstances and that if you have something, then you must have taken it from someone else and so corrections must be implemented. Any this is how a nation ends up when too many people feel that way. This sort of Wrong Thinking can destroy everything. And here we are.

But that’s what you get when a nation lets in millions of undocumented and therefore illegal foreign nationals. They walked right in without going through the rigors of a legal naturalized citizen. They did not have to learn about what it means to be an American Citizen. They didn't have to do anything but climb a fence or crawl through a tunnel and they get what the people who struggled to follow the rules get so becoming an American Citizen no longer carries any weight. It’s really not that important to anybody, especially our government. What difference does it make at this point? And those not vested in the process will only choose to ignore it. They already have.

So the experiment that is the EU, much like the experiment that was the CCCP, will yield to the reality of Market Forces and come apart at the seams. Either that they’ll just limp on into the future and collapse later. Hopefully it won’t take 79 years of misery like the Soviet Union.

Perhaps these things just have to run their course.

You’re a Racist, Blah, Blah, Blah…

You’re a Racist!

This statement only succeeds in turning my ears off and tells me the free exchange of information and ideas is finished. It has reached the proportion of an endless mantra by the Political Left in an effort to stifle free speech and derail valid arguments over the United States’ entitlement programs, bizarre immigration actions and the counter-intuitive actions, at best, of President Barack Obama, a man doted on by his white mother and abandoned by his black father.

“You don’t know what it’s like for us.” they say “You have had the privilege of being white.”, they say. Like I’m carrying the Blood Libel for the actions of my European ancestors even though I'm of Irish decent and we didn't come over until the 1880s! I never owned a slave, killed an indian or oppressed a minority and yet I have to continue to hear it and pay a price for it. It's a tiresome argument.

But that’s not the point. It’s just so the Liberals can continue to buy the vote of the “Downtrodden” in America with taxpayer money. Yes, the only privilege that I seem to have here is the privilege of paying for everybody on the Government Tit.

It’s like blaming the weatherman for rain. I can’t help if you weren't born a millionaire or that your station in life isn't higher. It’s most likely YOUR FAULT by either not studying enough, working hard enough or just not caring where you landed in life. It’s not like there aren't any rich Black or Hispanic folks because there are plenty. Racism didn't seem to stop their success.

From what I know, white people didn't start the slave trade in the first place and that the current hotbeds for human trafficking, since slavery has never gone away, remain North Africa, Asia and South America.

As we all know that grand old white guy Abraham Lincoln banned the slave trade in North America 147 years ago although to hear tell, every low contract bid to an American professional black athlete is regarded as a return to the plantation.

We only have the rights in this country that we’re willing to stand up for. If you let something go because you’re afraid of repercussions, then it’s on you these days. I’m sure Martin Luther King was afraid to walk down the streets of Alabama even with a crowd but he did it just the same.

But all this doesn't stop the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) or Hollywood from continuing to produce shows and “documentaries” based in the Antebellum South or the 1950s and 1960s showing “Whitey keeping our people down.”

I'm not of the mind to understand the blind obedience to the most racially divisive president since Woodrow Wilson or the most fiscally irresponsible president since G.W.Bush. I didn't dislike G.W Bush because he was white; I disliked him because he was spending the U.S. Taxpayer’s money like a sailor on shore leave. That was before Barack Obama made him look almost miserly.

What about the National Debt Mr. President? Why are you bypassing Congress and the U.S. Constitution to let people from Mexico overrun our nation? Why are you running around the country proposing more government benefits when the country is in massive debt? And why are you increasing taxes and costly regulations on business when in order to get small business and this nation running again, you should be easing both?

I know I’m a racist for asking such a question but until I get an answer, there’s no use talking about anything else.

UN ambassador Susan Rice, who is richer than Croesus by the way with a net worth of $44 million and who owns stock in countries who deal with Iran, has been criticized for toeing the paper-thin party line with a laughably unbelievable story of an anti-Islam video as an excuse for the attack and execution of our U.S. ambassador to Libya on the anniversary of 9/11 and then blaming it on “bad intelligence”. Only the most unthinking idealog would think they didn't have a legitimate point. But yet these people are branded as racist also.

If a person looks like a thug, with tattoos and thug dress, the so called “Hip Hop” culture with their pants a draggin’ and their hat on backwards, white or black, they’re thugs. I don’t care if its bible verses tattooed on their noggins, I’m not getting close enough to read them and I'm going to perceive them as a threat and treat them accordingly. This is because looks matter first in any culture.

Even the county’s most famous race-baiter and most infamous fornicator, Jesse Jackson, has been quoted as saying that he was relieved to see that it was two white men behind him on the sidewalk when he was worried about who was coming up behind him one dark night in New York City. Is this racism or just statistics?

I don’t even care anymore. Call it whatever you want but it’s all just free speech to me. Say what you want while you still have the right to. There is no such thing as “Hate Speech” in my copy of the U.S. Constitution.

So when will we stop paying for Andrew Jackson, George Wallace, Woodrow Wilson and Bull Connor? The Burden of Guilt should now be cast off our generation of children who don’t even know what the hell the professional race baiters of this country are even talking about. But they’re paying for it just the same.

Minorities long ago have won their rights in this society. That they are told otherwise by the shiftless cultural power mongers among them is no business of the nations. We now seem to just be engaged in a fight for MORE rights than others and to stifle opposition to their never ending demands for recompense.

To get more and more, they plead racism.

Oh, there's racism alright.

Welfare States Weaken World Economies

Smoke and mirrors will only get you so far.

The European welfare state is finding that raising taxes and thereby raising the cost of doing business isn't getting them anywhere. Now there’s a shock.

By favoring big business, global governments ignore the real engine of the economy and innovation: Small business.

Microsoft didn’t start as a multinational conglomerate. Neither did IBM, NCR or Apple. They all started small as people armed only with an idea.

As I drive through my town, Obscurity, Massachusetts, and see empty strip malls and empty storefronts, I am reminded that there is no recovery here in the United States either. It’s all just borrowed money and eventually it will need to be paid back and when the person who is last in line puts their hand out and the person who is supposed to pay them has nothing to give them, this whole house of cards will come crashing down.

What we are finding out, like we needed to live through this again to know, is that a Welfare State is a weak state. People without work are people without purpose. Government can give people sustenance but they can’t give people purpose. Only a job can do that, a livelihood.

We have almost 100 million people receiving some kind of public assistance in this country and that is an obscenity to the American Dream. Does anybody else find it strange that government taxes people into dependence on the State and then gives them enough to get by? Had they left their money in their own pockets would they not be better off? But no, the money has to come from Government. You can’t just make it on your own. You NEED them and they will fulfill your needs.

It is a downward spiral of dependancy, despondency, drugs and violence.
Is it any wonder that the youth of our inner cities would trade their subsidized existence for the harsh terrain of Iraq or Afghanistan to fight for the new Islamic State? What do they have here to look forward to? They have substandard government schools, they have substandard government housing and they have substandard subsidies for food.

What difference does it make to these lost souls of the welfare state? Would they rather die out on the streets in a drug turf war or flock to the Iraqi Caliphate where at least they die fighting for something. A Purpose. A purpose in life is something the welfare state cannot give them.

A welfare state is a weak state.

Take a look at the world’s largest welfare states in the world today. They are all in a prolonged state of stagnation. Their economies are either contracting or growing at a pace that would be considered no growth in decades past. Their bureaucracies have become unwieldy and take too much from the people who actually produce. There is no glad talking this situation or fudging the numbers since one only has to drive down the street to see the reality of the situation. We are all approaching our individual “Lost Decades”.

When government becomes the arbiter of success, there is little success.

Millions of aimless people languishing in the welfare states means too many idle hands.
Will Islam finally accomplish what the old Bolsheviks of the last century had hoped for? Establish an Islamic state of their own and inspire like-minded people around the world to revolt against their governments, overthrow them and have the world become united in an Islamic Caliphate?

Why not? What is any of these governments offering today’s youth? You don't have to guess, I’ll tell you the answer: NOTHING. Nothing but debt and no means to pay it off. What our young people see is a slow, purposeless existence of the welfare state.

Steps have to be taken now or this will end badly.

The taxmen of the U.S., like Europe, lays a heavy hand on the populace and sucks the life out of our economies. Because of the government "safety net" here is no incentive to work. The national systems that the first world nations impose upon their people are wasteful, full of fraud and are without transparency. They answer to no one. This increases people’s powerlessness but also leads to their disenfranchisement.

Government must stop it's wasteful practices, get out of the healthcare, education and lending businesses, cut taxes, de-regulate business and put money back into the people’s pockets and end their controls or disorder will ensue. We will all pay a high price.

The welfare state has to be ended and people must learn to fend for themselves. The slaves have learned to love their slavery but no nation can continue to give services and taxpayer money away for free to anyone with a want.

Just as a union shop cannot compete with a non-union right-to-work business, a  welfare state cannot compete with an economy based on self-reliance and personal achievement.

Money should be earned. And money earned is the property of the person who earned it. Without the work/reward system, the world stops turning.

The evidence is everywhere.

EU Motives, Propaganda, Ukraine and Russia

Not a whole lot of truth coming out of the Western press right now on the Ukraine/Russia standoff.

I immediately wonder when I read reports of  Russian troops storming command posts and guarding the borders, do they actually mean to say “Crimean militia troops sympathetic to Russia” or actually, from across the border Russian army troops?

There has been very little distinction between these militia forces which are home grown and who consider Russia to be their homeland and the so called “Invading Russian Army”. Since there are also Russian bases inside Crimea, how would that be an invasion?

The fact that Ukraine has just been taken over by a political faction that is, to be kind, diametrically opposed to a pro-Russia view, it stands to reason that Crimean militia and Crimean based Russian forces would want to isolate Ukrainian troops stationed there. The media is making this look like aggression when it is common sense. I find it remarkable that neither side has fired a shot with bad intent, an unusual result considering who we're talking about. It appears that nobody is looking for a fight on this except the EU and the new Ukrainian regime since the U.S.and EU want to force Russia off of the Black Sea and Ukraine doesn’t want to lose the income from the Crimea which by most reports is doing better economically that the rest of Ukraine.

And nobody really knows how many troops are currently in the Crimea or who they belong to so why is the U.S. media relying on obviously biased statements from the Ukrainian military for a troop figure? It makes no sense since they are clearly going to overstate the number of Russian troops in the area to “prove” a violation of the 1997 Ukrainian agreement that actually allows Russian troops to remain in that region. This is what passes for journalism in the Western hemisphere these days. Why not admit it's impossible to know instead of issuing misleading information? Because it serves the interests of the U.S and EU, that's why.

Can Russia really “seize” a country that is going to vote to join it in two weeks by national referendum? Just wondering. If the Ukraine votes in its new EU friendly government which is very likely, Crimea, an autonomous region with it's own separate system of government it has been reported, can certainly vote to decide where its own fortunes lie. If that’s Russia, well then, the Ukraine would most certainly march against them. Crimea has every reason to believe that the new Ukraine will come after them to forcibly bring them into the EU fold even if they vote to remain separate from both countries.

This is what I see the danger in the region to be, not Russian aggression but EU coercion. These regions have been divided between Western and Eastern leaning factions for ages and none of this is a new thing by any stretch. This is why the EU and especially the United States should stay out of it. Washington, so adept at squandering our resources, our good will and our tolerance for war with its useless, make-work wars over the last number of decades, has gone to the well too many times for the people to get behind them on this. Only perennial war mongers like John McCain and Sean Hanity will think that would be a good idea. People are tired of it all and by the way, we’re broke!

So why shouldn’t Crimea get to vote? Ukraine is going to vote.
Is it because Crimea is going to vote “wrong”? Is this the way of the EU, to recognize the people who will vote “right” and to deny the other? Aesop had a proverb about this: “Any excuse serves a tyrant”.

And Obama’s so called solution is a joke! We all know that outside observers either from the U.N. or the OSCE are totally useless and much like the U.N. itself, has not managed to protect anybody but looks on while people get killed all around them. History has shown that the U.N. has only served to prolong conflicts, not solve them. The OSCE group cannot be trusted in the first place since they work for the EU. Nothing independent about their point of view. Gee, I wonder what they're going to report? Good idea letting those spys walk around the place.

But I think the Whitehouse is welcoming this distraction since it would rather have you looking at the Ukraine "Crisis" than at your own paycheck which continues to shrink as the government programs they have implemented suck your resources and drive you and the company you work for to the poorhouse."Look, Russians on the boarder!" is the old familiar ring from the late 1950s, "Forget about us screwing with Libya, Syria, Egypt, Afghanistan et al, the Russian's are violating the sovereignty of a country! We've got to do something by God!"

And why don’t we just pledge to give Ukraine $100 Billion? We don’t really HAVE the $ 2 Billion anyway so what’s the difference?

One really has to laugh when CNN has earlier reported that some Ukrainian television channels inside the Crimean territory have been replaced by “state run” Russian channels. Considering here in the U.S. CNN is just one of many, many state run television channels. Can't help but stifle a chuckle when I read about "Russian Propaganda" these days. Thanks CNN for the laugh.

I don’t see the crime here other than the escalation of rhetoric and innuendo reported as fact. These days I find I trust the words of Barack Obama and David Cameron much less than those of Vladimir Putin. At least Putin has lied to me a whole lot less. Who'd of thunk that?

And so as I write this, the U.S. seems now willing to send ships and ordinance in the European region to “help”. What this never ending continuation of military blunders coming out of Washington will most likely do is increase the chances of starting WW III since the last two world wars started in Europe and we all know Russia is not going to give up it's access to the Black Sea. It means too much to them as a nation and what it would take to dislodge them from Crimea even if we had the political will to actually attempt it would be too large a price to pay for the world.

Would we destroy the Crimea to save them? Hell, we've done it before, just look at Vietnam, a country we spent a decade to "save" from the Communist Threat by killing upwards of 7 million people there. All in a days work for the United States.

Hold onto your hats!
