There Is No Shortage of Food in America

I never tire of breaking the news to people when this subject comes up in conversation but there is nobody starving in this country for want of access to food or access to free food in the United States.
We have plenty of food and many, many people, non-profit organizations and charities who are falling over themselves to give it away to almost anybody who shows up and wants some.

So, no, we don’t have people with an Access to Food problem in this country despite all that you might hear on radio and television "news". I see these organizations advertising on billboards and buying radio spots in their never ending search to find those elusive starving children.
What we DO HAVE in this country are too many people with a drug, alcohol, gambling and taking responsibility for their actions problems.

The problem we hear about, the “Children Starving in America” scenario that’s been fabricated to the point of believability is actually an “Allocation of Resources” problem with many parents and people in general who have a hard time getting up and going to work and like-wise getting up and going to a grocery store. Too many times these people end up in either a bar, a casino, a heroin den or a whore house. The money they SHOULD be spending on food is going somewhere else.
The other  part of this issue is that these people don’t have a job and are most likely on some form of government assistance. Look at the EBT program. The people who are getting this assistance who are afflicted with the above mentioned vices are dealing their EBT cards for cash. These people will also sell their food stamps. Instead of having to actually GO GET A JOB, these folks have turned finding and converting public assistance benefits into cash into their "job". There have been stories published of people being pulled over in New York having EBT cards from both New York and New Jersey. We know the identity theft going on so that people with multiple identities get public assistance under several names. These are not isolated instances, this is chronic and systematic theft.

It is an open secret that the public assistance programs are overrun with grifters, drug addicts, gambling addicts and general run-of-the-mill do nothings. It is also an open secret that anybody who applies for assistance will receive it regardless of real need because a self-perpetuating welfare state will always be willing to make room for one more dependent especially when an election is coming up.
But the main point is that however well-intended this all may be, all these resources go to ANYTHING BUT food.. The resources these programs require to run with the hope that it may actually reach someone who actually really needs it is not only killing the taxpayer and the economy but also the chance for those people who really do want to earn their own way in this world of actually doing so.

So will throwing more money at this “Starving Children” problem change anything? No. It isn’t like we’re talking about Africa. They’ve been starving for decades over there despite all the food the U.S. has sent them over the last 40 years or so. The problem there is that they can’t grow enough food to feed their population between civil wars and government insurrections. This is not a problem in the U.S. We produce so much food that we not only export much of it but also give it away to nations in need.
So when I read or hear another non-profit organization pleading for money for the “Hungry Children” I just shake my head. No amount of money I or anybody else will give will make one bit of difference and who knows where the money is really going anyway. Anybody who is soliciting money in this fashion, with all the social programs hemoraging money for SSI, WIC, EBT and Food Stamps, is most likely just paying themselves or supporting somebody's political campaign. They always say more can be done and it truely just never ends.

These children, if they exist at all, won’t get fed unless their parents are provided an incentive to stay together, stay employed and stay contributing members of the American society. Right now, that is not happening and it hasn’t been happening for awhile. It’s an environmental issue and all the money you throw at it won’t result in a population without want.
These handouts are just wasteful wishful thinking designed mostly to buy votes and nobody in government seems to be concerned with the social consequences; the drugs, the crime and wasted lives.

It's time to do something different.

Vote For Obama And Stick It To Whitey

It seems the only people who are voting for Obama these days are white liberals and people of color. They all have many detailed and varied reasons to do this: Because he is black.
They don’t even know why they’re voting for the guy and they don’t care. He’s black and he’s sticking it to whitey. Rich, racist, whitey. That’s all they care to know. Even the white liberals want to stick it to whitey.

There is so much we don’t know about Mr. Obama. We can’t see what he’s written in college and we don’t even know if his birth certificate is real. You think the nurse runs into the office and types a certificate as soon as a kid is born? Nope, the doctor first writes the parent’s names and birth information by hand. Where is THAT document? I have mine.
But that doesn't matter. We do know he’s black and that’s good enough for his major voting group: black and hispanic people. Ignorance is bliss.

We have a funny idea of what compassion really is in this country over the last several decades. Is compassion handing out Section 8 rent vouchers, EBT cards and free health care? Or is compassion about having the opportunity to do things on your own? Should government be in the business of carrying liabilities at other’s expense or should they be in the business of diminishing liabilities by providing a level field of play for all to excel and to contribute to a healthy society and a fulfilling life?
It’s clear that Romney has a better grasp of the state of the economy than president Obama. This is because he knows where money actually comes from. Love him or hate him, Mitt Romney is a “money guy”.

All Obama has to fall back on, since he’s made a bad situation so much worse by spending up the deficit, is racial division.
There are still many black people who think that Obama’s failure as a president is because of Whitey. There are black folks who think white people have it in for them to the point of extermination. They hold an innate animosity and distrust towards all white people regardless of ancestry. This is not only unfair, but profoundly racist. This is a racism that many black people are born into. They get if from their folks and the people they grow up with. It is environmental. Now where have I heard that before?

I have a friend who happens to be black. He was being held back in his job and was unable to advance. He felt it was because they were white and he was not. They may have even have made a racial comment but it seems to be a vague reference. He quit and went elsewhere and he’s happier and doing better.
I related a similar experience where I worked. I was also being held back and passed over even for a job I was holding at the time while a candidate for the permanent position. I didn’t get it. There were comments and none too vague. The only thing I couldn’t pin it on was because I was black since I’m not.

I have been told that since I’m not black, I couldn’t possibly understand what it’s like to be put in such a position and my answer was: “Shove it up your ass!” I got jobbed, you got jobbed. WE got jobbed.
The difference is that I can recognize it for what is. One of us is in denial.

I was born in the Boston projects. We got out. I was told that it was because we had the privilege of being white. But other white people did not get out. How’d that privilege work for them? And there were black families that got out too. How does that work? I thought they weren’t privileged? Blow it out your ass!
I’ve just spent the past week in Nashville, TN near the grounds of Vanderbilt University. I saw many young professionals there like doctors and businessmen and they are black. Was whitey holding them back? Oh, I see, whitey WOULD have held them back if they had the chance.

Whitey can’t win this argument.
Barak Obama has become the most divisive president since Woodrow Wilson. He needs this racial division, he needs the La Razas of this country to rise up and vote for him because he’s black. He needs voter fraud and underhanded election skulldugery because his ideas aren't supported by the majority of Americans still working in this country. Obama needs the liberal media sheep on his side bleeting the party line because he's made so many errors in judgement it's hard to imagine he's still taken seriously.

But most of all Obama needs racial hatred. That will get out the vote for him. He will motivate the growing hispanic masses and established liberal haters to go to the polls for fear of a Great White Satan who will try to unite the country and give it back to their repressive European masters for only Obama knows them like whitey will never know them.
But they’ll be cutting their own throats. There can be no redistribution if there is no wealth. You can’t hand out what you don’t have coming in and the leftist, wealth destroying policies that Obama champions will eventually cause all these giveaways to dry up.

When that happens you won’t be able to blame Congress, the Republicans or Whitey.

After this, there'll be no one left to blame but themselves.

Slavery as a Crutch

In 1863 Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves but they’ve never let us forget it since. Sure, President Lincoln freed them bodily but it’s become apparent that he couldn’t free them mentally and the self-proclaimed “representatives” of modern black culture have used that as a hammer to beat the current population of European descendants and their own people over the head forever after.

I can never get away from hearing that somebody else, everybody else really, is keeping them down. I’d list them all but that would be tiresome. It’s always about a want. Some want reparations, some want preferential treatment in the workplace and others just demand money up front. You know the cast of characters involved. We all do. To name them is also tiresome.

In fact I’m really just plain tired of the “woe is me” story I’ve been hearing since I was a child. I’m tired of hearing it’s my fault and I’m certainly tired of paying for something of which I never participated in the first place. I've never oppressed anybody and I’ve never owned a slave.

But my ancestors were slaves. Slaves to the Romans and since African slavery in this country started hundreds of years ago and the slavery of my people happened a thousand years ago, that is no less the same. A slave is a slave. I think I should petition Italy for reparations! I don’t think they’ve got the cash right now but perhaps I deserve some compensation for, you know, being a descendant of people who were treated poorly…way back when, sometime, you know?

In fact, my people had their butts kicked by just about everybody who was anybody at the time: The Vikings, oh those guys were bastards but not as big a group of bastards than the English! Those guys were the worst, shipping food grown in our country back to their country while we all starved and resorted to eating grass and dying by the side of the road with our mouths stained green. Well, not ME particularly but somebody I must have been related to no doubt somewhere along the line. That’s got to be worth something, right?

Damn-it! I think England should pay! We should have our representatives give “lectures” at English Universities and hold media rallies and carp loudly about how mistreated we all were back then. There are 25 million of my people on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean too.

Where’s my check?

Yes, it’s absurd and it’s not doing anybody any favors. It has become an excuse for why you're not doing well in American life. What these Race Pimps are really saying is: “You’re not good enough to compete on a level playing field.” and “You can’t make it without help”, that's all. Then you come to the point somewhere along the line that you deserve it and the next thing you know you're out in the street demanding it because you think someone is going to take it away from you but you won’t stop until someone gives it to you and for it you will stop at nothing. You will riot for it, you will burn for it and say any absurd thing under the pretense that if you still are failing then it has to be somebody else's fault. Why? Because you deserve to get it, because you were slaves...well, not you in particular but someone in your family may have been way back when, maybe. And so you have to have a "Boogie Man", a group that you must target for your continued failure. You need "Oppressors". And here we are, "Whitey is always keeping you down.".

It's like no other group of people had to ever overcome a minority situation before. Every new group of people who have come to this continent has had to deal with adversity at the hands of the majority. The Irish had to deal with the "Irish Need Not Apply" issues, the 6 days a week, 10 hours a day grindingly physical work at the mills as fodder for the nation's Industrial Revolution, the degrading aspect of being a licensed veterinarian in Ireland but only being able to get work as  a stable hand here. This is what it was like then, the history our schools no longer teach. And after all that we got to turn around and stick it to the Italians when they came!

But ultimately the, favoring, the concessions and the sense of inferiority it leads to opens the door to that other form of slavery: Dependency. But this time it’s dependence on the government who loves you and wants to keep you safe and well fed with a government roof over your head. And you can have it...just as long as you behave the way they want you to and do the things they need for you to do.

And what you have then isn’t freedom. It's quite the opposite.
